Stopped for one amber ale on Friday. Went back on Saturday for 2 more and left with 2 growlers and a pizza. Great place. Stop in and enjoy.

As we were driving to Murphy, NC, we saw a billboard on the road for«Hoppy Trout». After looking up the menu and seeing other reviews, we decided to try this new restaurant in Andrews. Wow! The space is tight, but cozy. It was a very pleasant evening, so we enjoyed the covered patio. The wait staff was very attentive and well-versed on each menu item. Craft beer was excellent as well as the homemade root beer for the kids. We tried two pizzas and both were excellent! This will definitely be our new spot to eat when in town.

This is a pretty standard pizza place. The pizza was good, not great, but their beer selection was worth the trip.

We stopped in and tried their pizza and beer selections and really enjoyed everything we had. The hamburger pizza(our server suggested we add bacon and she was correct) was delicious. We also had the chicken florentine pizza which I highly recommend. We also had some of the plain cheese pie to make sure we weren’t being swayed by all the toppings. I can say that the regular cheese pie is just as tasty. We also did a flight of the beers available and enjoyed them all. The favorite we tasted was the Mungo double IPA. That might change on another visit though depending on what they have on tap. The service was also excellent. I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

Been twice and both times it has been inconsistent. The pizza was totally different both times even tho we ordered the same one and they have a small selection of craft beer. Small place so maybe that’s the norm for a place that small.

Let’s start with the pizza… I have enjoyed almost every pizza I have gotten so far. The chicken florentine is amazing! I have also really enjoyed the meat feast and volcano as well. The rise n’ shine was the only pizza that I have not loved from here. Their breadsticks are also great! On to the beers… the beers are awesome. Their brews have been diverse and very good. I also really appreciate that the guest taps are full of brews that an Andrews local could only dream of having access to. They have also begun construction on a patio out back for more seating! This is a great local establishment.

We stopped here on our way to Gatlinburg, and we’re very happy with our stop. We started with cheese sticks. The dough on those and the pizza is clearly homemade and fresh. We did a half and half pizza with bbq chicken and the volcano. Both were excellent. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Great little find in downtown Andrews!

The Hoppy Trout ROCKS! Great brick oven pizza as well as numerous awesome craft brews — these guys even drive 2 hours to Asheville so they can offer a couple of Wicked Week Brewery’s best pale ales! I was shocked to see a Wicked Weed beer all the way in Andrews! WOW! The pizza doe is made fresh every morning, and the brick oven finish is delicious! Go check them out!

I am not much of a pizza fan. With that said this place is alright. We ordered three pizzas. My favorite was the Chicken Florentine. The Margarita was a close second place. The third was cheese and it was absolutely perfect. We did get the s’mores pizza for dessert. I might suggest that you pass on it. I was hoping for s’mores and this missed my hopes and I didn’t have enough drink left to wash it down. We got two appetizers the hummus and the cheese sticks. The one thing I would change is that I would serve the cheese sticks with warm sauce. The ice cold sauce kind of killed it. The service was out of this world. They totally deserve the five stars and I am looking forward to my return.
