Pizza Hut

This is probably the worst Pizza Hut I’ve ever been to. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza is great along with the rest of what I usually get on the menu. But I’ve never had a delivery place get something wrong more than this pizza place. They deliver to the wrong house EVERY time, forget parts of my order, forget any sauce I get with my food. The food is fine, but service is not. I’d much rather go to Papa John’s or Marco’s.

This pizza hut is a lot better quality than the other one on South Main Street. Their wings are excellent and they also have a lunch buffet.

We pick up carry out orders frequently via the drive through. The pizza has always been wonderful but this evening the service was unacceptable. There was a man by the name of J — -y working the drive through, this man began speaking so loudly that my husband thought he was speaking to him and blindly nodded in response (assuming whatever he said had to do with his order). My husband then hears this employee talking especially loudly, yet passively aggressive (so that my husband would be sure to hear) saying something along the lines of, «Why is that guy in drive through nodding? He has no business listening to what we say in here.» When you’re shouting you’re going to be heard by the people sitting in the drive through. You should have asked my husband if there was some sort of communication confusion because he’d have been more than happy to set the record straight. Customers shouldn’t be expected to pull up to the window and cover their ears for fear of hearing your personal conversations. The people putting money in your pockets (customers) shouldn’t feel threatened by an employee. If there’s a potential problem with a customer take it up with the customer, don’t complain to your co-​workers. Ruffians have no place in the field of customer service. Whatever you do for a living have some dignity, be professional, and show some courtesy. Hopefully the corporate office will respond to our email regarding this matter.

I am pleased to report that I visited this Pizza Hut two lasts nights ago and finally had the experience I have been waiting to have again — the experience I used to routinely have there.
I went in to the restaurant and placed a TO-​GO order at the counter and sat at the bench near the register and played on my RAZR while I waited. A super friendly young man named Matthew (goes by Matt) greeted me as I approached the counter, joked around with me as I ordered, and got my pizza out to me as soon as it came out of the oven. He made my visit pleasant and my wait fun… well, my RAZR made my wait fun, but Matt was what Pizza is supposed to be about. I just hope this is a sign that the «other» PH has gone away for good!
The pizza was made properly and was delicious.
It was an all around good experience. Well done Pizza Hut! Please keep it up!
