Garfield’s

If I could give less than one star, I absolutely would. I will never return to Garfield’s, and I’m sorry to say I went more than once. The food is all frozen, and disgusting to say the least. The beer isn’t cold so much as chilled and the overall experience leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Enjoyed an ice tea, salad and Rueben sandwich for lunch. All good– good service to boot. Yeah, its in a Mall restaurant– nothing fancy décor-​wise but i was very glad i gave it a try! Basically a place where a family could get a decent meal for a decent price. Going with 4 stars which no way it’s 4 star fancy– but because i felt like the waitress cared and the cook made the food right. Don’t be surprised by the paper table cloths and crayons on the table and you’ll be fine.

This is my wife’s and my little place. The food has never disappointed. I love the atmosphere, small but not too small. The best part is there’s no TV in the dinning area, just one at the separated bar. We’ve never had bad service, in fact we’ve never even had questionable service. I highly recommend this little place.

Food is good but the service is slow… like did they forget slow. This was our second time there for dinner tonight and the second time the service was very slow and it wasn’t busy at all… again food is good.

My wife, and I, have alway received excellent service, and great food.
The wait staff has found the perfect balance, between available, and annoying. The isolated time there was a mistake, was handled to my satisfaction.
I usually order the shrimp, and it’s never been over cooked, a mistake frequently made, by other establishments. My wife’s steak is always as ordered, and delicious. The one time I ordered the bourbon chicken, it was good, but not the flavor I had come to expect.
Prices are on the high side, but not terribly so. I definitely left full, with my wife needing a to-​go container.

I’ve had good and bad experiences at Garfield’s. Most of the time, it takes a very long time to get your food after your order, and some of the servers don’t visit the table enough.
On the other hand, the food is pretty good. The ultimate nachos are the best item on the menu. The full order is a very large portion, easily enough to feed two adults.

I’ve never been to any other Garfield’s location, so my experience just stems to this one.
The service is absolutely terrible. The hostesses are rude and it usually takes, on average, 5 minutes for one of them to even notice you’re there an seat you. at NON peak times. I can count on one hand, the number of good waiters I’ve had at this location.
The only reason I didn’t give them one star is simply because of their food and their menu variety. I’ve had several of their menu items that weren’t anything spectacular and pretty good. However, I had their «catch of the day» once which was catfish and I must say it was delicious. Their ingredients are usually fresh and the one thing that I absolutely love about this place is the fact that you can draw on the table covering and they give you crayons. How cool is that?
