It is our first time here and so far everything we have tried is very good: chicken pesto on naan, the pimento cheese hot dog, tortilla soup, broccoli salad, oatmeal cookie ice cream, and blueberry cheesecake ice cream –the ice cream was my favorite ice cream ever! The staff are very friendly, and the shop atmosphere is great, a cross between barn homey and coffee shop. The owner was on site and very attentive in making sure everything was to our liking.

Figs is one of my absolute favorite places to go in Anderson. Whether it’s for coffee, lunch, or a real smoothie, everything is excellent. The ONLY negative thing is that they are so popular that lunch time can be a little slow… but it is definitely worth the wait. Their specials are fabulous!

Had a baked turkey with cheese on jalapeño & cheese bread. The turkey was moist, the lettuce was more like a spring mix which complemented the turkey & havarti. The bread was no where near commercially made which means it had more body, and wasn’t chewey. A little heat from the jalapeños baked in the bread. Wifey had a pimento cheese, she said it was better than what she used to buy fresh at the Winn-​Dixie. The coffee was really good, full-​bodied, slightly sweet, with no hint of bitterness unlike some very popular, nationwide, coffee shops. The service was good, ambience, eclectic. Really neat features are a walk-​up window and an 8×8 foot checkerboard next to the tables.

I’m so happy to have ice cream in town. Everyone at Figs is so nice –they even entertain my toddler when I bring him in. They also created the perfect coffee drink just for me, now I’m hooked!
