We ate here tonight just a spur of the moment decision… The salad that they brought out was excellent. Cold crisp lettuce, fantastic tomatoes, cucumbers were just perfect, served in a cold bowl. I thought we were in the process of discovering a real gem in the middle of Anderson. Then the burgers came out… Not horrible, but not memorable either. They were spiced with garlic and who knows what else. I prefer that my burgers taste like, well burgers. These were large and stuffed with cheese… Not a bad concept, but lacking in execution. Like I said, not bad. but just not anything worth writing home about. With so many places to try, I will not be going back.

After passing by this place for years, we finally decided to stop in Saturday night(4÷23÷2011) and it was the best random restaurant decision we have made in a while. The venue is wonderful, and much better than I expected for Anderson(coming from a native). We arrived to a half-full dining room and grabbed a place on the comfy couch in the corner. Within 30 minutes, the entire bar and restaurant was FULL, and the entertainment was on stage dazzling with original blues music. The drinks were wonderful and reasonably priced, the food menu is small, but the BBQ nachos are wonderful. The service was taxed with the full house, but still friendly and smiling. Definitely will return. Apparently they are only open Thurs, Fri, and Sat nights. My one turn-off would be the house music played between live sets… a weird early 80’s pop music mix. Really didn’t fit the atmosphere.
