I love that they have a Kiosk to print pictures from your iPhone. I have gone to Fred Meyers on Northern lights many times to try to get it to work and finally a worker said their system wasn’t upgraded and I asked if anyone had one that did work and they suggested Walgreens. It took a while for my photos to load and it only loaded 5000 of them(I take a lot of pictures) so I had to take pictures of pictures of older ones. The first couple huge batches of pictures I had printed were excellent, done same day. The third batch I got home and found it had lines in it, it was annoying so I took them back because I wanted good quality. They said sorry and that they had to clean their machines. They also said I would have to reprint them at the kiosk because they didn’t have all of them saved anymore. So that was annoying too but I wanted to print more pictures anyways and I know their main photo person was out, and people make mistakes. When I finally went to pick up my pictures, not only did they refund what I paid them for it, they also gave me 10,000 points for my inconvenience. I think that is great customer service. The photo lady was very apologetic. Thanks Walgreens!

Wish I could give zero stars. Just horrendous. How it can possibly take that long to put a bottle of prepackaged prescription eye drops into a bag and hand it to me is totally beyond me. These pharmacy ass hats should all be fired immediately. Terrible.

I’m not sure why this location has such low ratings. I frequent this location and I’ve never had a problem. Pharmacy wait times are a little long, but they’ve always been helpful. The people at the front counter have always been super helpful. Today when I was there I couldn’t find a product I was looking for and the manager called around til he found a store that had it in stock. I also Iike this location because it has a Redbox inside. I often find great seasonal items for as low as 90 percent off. One time after Halloween I got a bag of candy corn for 9 cents. I’m pretty sure it costs more than that to MAKE. Anyway, this Walgreens is alright by me.

The Pharmacy Techs at this Walgreens are some of the most unprofessionally disrespectful employees I have ever come in contact with in any professional setting.ever. If they don’t enjoy their jobs or companies, they should not be allowed to interact with customers in person OR on the phone; they should be in a back room somewhere counting pills. If you call about an issue that arose during prescription collection, you feel like you’re debating with a 14-year-old high schooler with a big ego and bad attitude, and they unfortunate bring the same out in me too from being caught so off-guard. If this wasn’t the only pharmacy in town that consistently carried my meds, I would never spend another dime at any Walgreens in the United States solely based off of the customer service(or lack thereof) that I have received at the 24HR Northern Lights location in Anchorage, AK. Especially tonight.

Wow. is all I can say. I shop at the Walgreens off Huffman on a regular so this trip here was freaky”…Picked up friend from work nearby around Thanksgiving & as I browsed the skin care section, a middle aged female employee with medium length dark colored hair asked if we needed help finding anything. We kindly said no thanks & headed to grab a hot coffee from the machine. This woman was everywhere I was as I browsed items. she became annoying and made me uncomfortable shopping there. My friend said she was super strange to him as well. lingering near him as he made his coffee selection, saying she should get sugar. but was staring at the items in his hands. Wtf lady?! I’m buying $ 7.00 face wash $ 9.00 face lotion .do not follow me around like I’m in kindergarten & trying to steal my self serve hot mocha. I saw another female employee walk by on our way to the register & she looked really unhappy. What is wrong with these people I thought to myself. Then the nightmare got worse… I made the mistake of mentioning the weird lady following us around the store after I told her we were good on her help. The younger blond gal ringing me up replied«We have shoplifters. THAT’S WHY.». I looked behind me at a line of customers behind me with suspicious looks on their faces and the employee messed my whole order up after that. She then wanted to kick my ass after I paid and didn’t want my receipt. I don’t know what else to say besides avoid these two employees.

1 star for the rotten customer service we received at the pharmacy drive-thru because of some«new» pharmacy tech named Puni. No smiles, no friendly greeting, just took our script/ID and asked when we wanted to pick it up. We said ASAP and she advised the meds would be ready in 20 minutes. I’ve never used the drive-thru before so I don’t know if that’s normal waiting time or what but we came back after 30 minutes. Puni gets on the speaker and asks us for the last name. In my head I’m thinking, «Girl, we were just here ½ an hour ago, did you have that many customers in the past half hour you don’t remember our last name?» But that’s just me, maybe she doesn’t pay as close attention to a customer’s face/name as I do, or maybe she had lots of customers at 1am on a Thursday morning, but I digress. so we wait. and wait. and wait. Puni never comes to our window again, she’s just helping other walk-in customers, doesn’t have the brain to let us know our script isn’t ready yet so the whole time we’re waiting at the window with the gas running, not knowing WTF is going on. After 20 minutes of this my mom(who is driving) finally has enough and honks the horn. repeatedly. until a more seasoned pharmacy tech comes from some unseen back room and promptly delivers to us our script and we were on our way. Not before getting an earful from us though. I thought it was very unprofessional that immediately following, she puts the phone to her chest(allowing us to hear) and reprimands Puni for the lousy customer service because SHE just got chewed out for it. Really? LADIES, GETITTOGETHEROVERTHERE. Schedule some kind of team meeting and review the guidelines to good customer service. Even my 3 year old niece could teach these women a thing or two about just being friendly.

Super convenient, only 24 hour pharmacy in town. Can be super expensive though. Like I said great for convenience.

24 hrs. That’s what is nice about this Walgreens. It’s not particularly big or nice or new or anything like that. But it’s a nice enough, standard Walgreens. Pleasant staff. Fairly quick and responsive pharmacy. Stocks all the usual things you’d expect to find at a Walgreens. They also even have a slushie machine.

Walgreens in the 49th state is the same as Walgreens in the Lower 48. So when I popped in late to pick up something, I knew they would have it and I pretty much knew where it would be in the store. There’s just something good about that.

They take too long at pharmacy and are rude most of the time. They seem like they hate their jobs.

Customer service is the absolute worst. Staff are more concerned with quitting time than waiting on customers. I stopped by last Sunday afternoon, 24 March, for a couple of shaving items. While I waited in line I noticed the blonde headed female worker kept telling her co-worker«You know it’s almost THAT time, going to be THAT time, can’t wait for it to be THAT time…» while she counted the money in her register drawer. She should have opened up the register and waited on customers. Meanwhile, a long line of disgruntled people were waiting on her male co-worker to finish fumbling through an entire basket of chocolate easter bunnies with bad price tags. After the above I guess the young man at checkout found some humor in people with attitudes and began insisting people take a chocolate-peanutbutter egg and telling them«Be well until you return…» His behaviour was strange to say the least, unless the new Walgreens motto is now«Live long and prosper.» I won’t be back, and I’ll be looking for the RiteAide or CVS instead. My personal time is too valuable to be wasted. If there was a sub-one-star rating this store would have earned it.

The pharmacy staff here leave something to be desired. I called in for refills for three drugs on a Wednesday. Two days later I go to pick them up but receive only a 5 day supply of each. I am told that the rest will definitely be in on Monday. Monday I come back and am told that actually both drugs are on back order. I ask what I should do and get a shrug. I suggest that perhaps the tech call other pharmacies to see if the medication can be located there. The tech reluctantly picks up the phone and locates some of each of the drugs. I ask when I can pick them up and he tells me maybe tomorrow. I ask for a call when the meds and the guy says«Yeah, I guess I can do that». Really? Why isn’t it standard protocol to call local pharmacies to get patients’ orders filled? The tech acted like he was going way out of his way and doing me a favor. Dude, this is your JOB.
