I have always loved the Phở here, but the woman in the kitchen is insanely rude and apparently hates kids. I will not go back.

I love their beef phở with spingrolls, currently they are closed right now, which I am pretty bummed out about because this place is the best place I’ve ever had phở and spring rolls please open soon.

Love this location! Much quicker and better then the muldoon location. Service is Awsome, seat yourself. They bring a menu right away. Soups come out fast. My most fav is the shrimp Noodle Phở! The broth is soo delishes! Put your sides and extra flavors in and BAM! Enjoy. My family and I eat here almost weekly. We have gotten an array of different items off the menu and have never been disappinted.

The spicy noodle soup was delicious and full of flavor. It could’ve been spicier, but i’m sure you could ask for more spice. Plus I like my food to be so spicy that I sweat, which I did a bit. But the spices and flavor were great. As well as all the beef and the cilantro, jalapenos, and the rest of the ingredients they or you put in. I got mine to go and it was ready inside of five minutes, more like three. It was a bowl of soup and box with the noodles and ingredients in it. Hot and delicious. It cost me $ 11 for the soup and that’s about par for food in Anchorage and for phở in general. I’d highly recommend it togo or to sit in their place and eat. Most plates are about the same price, $ 10-$ 12.

Phở is one of my all time favorite foods! My husband and I eat here almost once, sometimes even twice, a week. I’ve been a fan of this restaurant for the past 7+ years. The waiters have our orders memorized perfectly and they serve the food out pretty quickly. I always get one of the following: Rare beef and meatball with extra noodle phở, crab wontons, vermicelli salad with pork and egg roll, or the combination fried rice. Portions are OK sized. What I like about this place is that their menu is large. Their Thai iced tea and iced coffee is my favorite in town.

I love this phở place. It was one of my favorites but now I’m in college. I came here with my parents and grandparents every week and sometimes more. The guy knew I liked the brisket phở. Something about it always left me satisfied. Their spring rolls was always good too. But hard to get that wrong. They’re portions got smaller though I think and prices went up :(

Inexpensive but yet good food. I had the fried phở with beef. Tasty! Great for quick lunch. One disadvantage is that it is located at the very end corner of the mall, hard to find. It is a very small place.

Delicious phở. The vegetable is my favorite. Our family has tried several phos and other dishes and all were enjoyed. Broth is the best in town! Service is fast and pleasant, no high turn over in staff. Only complaint is there are often kids who watch their devices loudly(children of staff?) and that can be a little annoying while trying to have a conversation. To go orders are fast and easy with good portion sizes.

I ordered the Phở Chicken and it was divine. I added mint and cilantro and the hot oil sauce sparingly. It was delicious and filling! All my friends said that I need to come here and they were right! Delicious! Lots of customers so I knew it was going to be good. The service was fast and friendly although the soda prices were high. I will be back!

Bad service. Not so good food. I ordered their porkchop and it was very tough and salty. The Thai tea was too sweet and way too much half and half :(. The reason I say bad service is because when it was time to pay, it looks like one of the ladies only charged me $ 2.50 for the Thai tea. When one of the other ladies saw this(she’s probably the owner), she started talking/yelling in Vietnamese to the other lady and I was charged $ 3.50 instead even tho it was already written on the order form thingy. I know it’s only a dollar, but really? To raise your voice to your employee and talk in another language? Ya. I’m not coming back here.

Located in the dead part of Dimond Center mall(over by Olive Garden) this place is a great spot for lunch. It is a small places with only 7 booths and three tables. they open at 11 and i saw people come in and out pick up their to go orders. I ordered a bowl of Phở with chicken, shrimp and imitation crab. All I can say it this is a true find! The food was hot and so good! I cannot stress how clean the place is. I saw other orders come out that were not Phở and they looked great. Around 11:30 people started coming in for lunch. The food is brought out fast and they are not constantly hanging over you asking if you are okay. Just a couple of nice checks. The price is average and worth it!

Great phở, the fried rice is the best I have had, and pretty much all the dishes our family has tried have tasted great. At various times it can be a little tricky to get a table, but we have never had to wait too long. The service is great and the staff is friendly.

Solid four stars from this gal. The place was bright and clean, the service was prompt and friendly, and the food was good. I had the combination fried rice that was yummy. The portion size was perfect for me(not ludicrously large). My hubby had phở and thought it was really good. The herbs they put on the table were really fresh which was a plus! It’s a good place for kids; they have high chairs and booster seats available. Cons: a tad bit overpriced, but if you are already in the mall, definitely go check them out!

The server was friendly and the food came out super fast! The service here Is was better than the east side location. The broth was watery, which I don’t remember being the case when I was here a few years ago. I had to fix it up big time with the condiments. On the plus side, the veggies were tasty, plentiful and varied(unlike the eastside location).

After reading so many good reviews about Phở Saigon, I can’t supress my disappointment. Back in Jersey, there were two Vietnamese places in town where I could get incredible phở, with densely flavorful broth in enormous portions for half the price. So yeah, this is Alaska, I yeah I expect to pay more. But $ 10 for a medium sized bowl of phở with 7 dinky pieces of meat in it just hurts. I could forgive the chintzy meat if the phở broth actually had FLAVOR, but have mercy it was just bland. The only saving grace is the AMPLE selection of condiments of the table. No doubt it was the best selection of condiments I’ve ever seen at a Vietnamese restaurant. Other things that irked me: ambiance and service. It’s a mall… but again, back home, my ghetto mall had a Vietnamese restaurant that still managed to be clean, brightly lit and slick. Phở Saigon is dingy and makes no effort to be stylish. No doublt, I would forgive this if the food blew me away. The service was also awful. The girl at the desk was a b*tch. I mean seriously NOTNICE. And not only was she not nice, but the other staff(who were nice) didn’t communicate very well with each other or the customers. There were a number of customers looking a bit frustrated. On the plus side, my phở wasn’t horrible and didn’t have anything gross in it. But it certainly wasn’t good. And my honey’s fried rice was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Too bad the portion was miniscule. $ 10 for a plate of rice that would have barely satisfied me. There’s something wrong with that. The thai tea was excellent. The hot tea had tons tea leaves in it and no strainer. So despite the really excellent rice, my overall rating can’t go above 2 ½ stars. Only as an act of desperation, or if someone else was paying, would I consider going back.

I havent eaten here for YEARS!!! Just recently went here with a friend and tried their«Rare beef and tendon» phở. The tendon was so tender :) yumm… absolute favorite. Except phở bowl sizes can be confusing at times.

Best Phở place in town. The broth is made perfectly and they are always happy to bring you an extra bowl if you want to share. Iced coffee and tea are always perfect, not too sweet or too strong. Service is quick even if it’s busy. I tried the banh mi there for the first time and wasn’t too impressed: the bread was stale. Only reason it’s not five stars is the steak in the Phở is hit or miss. Sometimes is perfect and other times there’s more fat and grisle them actual meat. I’m not exactly a chewy meat kind of carnivore. Only place we go to get Phở in town, definitely the best.

The food was really good. The vegetables were really fresh and crisp(not like the Chinese restaurants in AK where everything is overcooked). The phở is great, the stir fry and stir fry noodles are my favorite. The stir fry is so good that I get regular cravings for it. Some of the downfalls were that it was very small place and the menu is so big that I get lost in the selections. I ordered curry on one occasion and it was super spicy(I ordered the spicy at level 1) and not very flavorful. Finally the prices are pretty high, the cheapest dish is $ 10, but then again this is Alaska and everything here is more expensive.

One of my favorite restaurants in Anchorage! I could eat here every day without getting tired of it. Pros: Consistently well prepared fresh Vietnamese food. My favorite dishes are their vegetable stir fry or the lemongrass stir fry. Friendly quick service(although don’t expect a lot of server attention after you’ve gotten your food) Prices are pretty good: usually entrees for under $ 10. Cons: Location in the mall isn’t exactly beautiful or spacious. If you like Vietnamese food and if you don’t care about a fancy ambiance, the food is definitely worth it.
