When it’s freezing outdoors or the kids need any type of exercise i take them here for an hour or so. The admission fee is $ 5/general, $ 4/kids & military and $ 3.50 for rental skates. Free admission on Military Mondays. The ice is well maintained and never had any problems with the staff. This place is located on the ground floor where the food court is and the easiest way to access is to take the H&M mall entrance. The mall itself is a bit bare compare to a typical mall, however, I prefer this place over the 5th Avenue mall downtown.

First off, the guy at the ticket counter was pretty rude. He asked me my age, and when I responded with 20, he laughed. As if I was lying. I know I look young, but I don’t appreciate it. And when he went to process my card, I said«that should work» and he responded with«You don’t have $ 3.50 on here?» I just gave him the first card I pulled out, and sometimes my cards won’t work. Now, on to the facility. It’s in the Dimond mall, which is a so-so mall. I am from Texas so I can be a bit judgmental with those things. But, the ice was awful. Probably hadn’t been resurfaced all day. It was two hours before close when I asked if they could get a zamboni out, and he said«not enough time». I am no professional, but I have never fallen before, and this was the first night I’ve fallen. It could also be the skates to blame, they were about as sharp as the handle of a butter knife. Overall, not a great experience, probably won’t go back. I only chose it because it’s close to where I was staying.
