Great food. However after 8pm don’t think you will get anything fresh. I have constantly walked in after 8pm with half the menu not being available. Also make sure who is making tacos.

This place is down the street from my work. It’s pretty small, sort of like an old converted Taco Bell. However, it’s clean and the food is good, big and cheap. What else do you want? I especially like the tacos al pastor, which is spicy marinated pork, and the carnitas burritos, which weigh about 2 pounds. I recommend it

Yeah, see? Where the hell was this place when I was crawling through Anaheim searching for great mom and pop Mex food? Carne asada nachos, chicken taquitos, and carne asada tacos, all top notch. Gigantic and cheap, and quick. Everything comes BURIED in guacamole, you have to practically break the heart of the cashier to make it clear that you don’t want it. But why wouldn’t you want it? If you don’t like guacamole, stop reading my reviews, jerk. As another reviewer said, though — don’t go in around closing time and expect to get their best stuff. It’s in and out of the fryer or the microwave suspiciously fast, and it’s a bit sharp and burnt tasting. Any other time, and this place will more than satisfy you. It’s close to downtown and felt safe to me, even late at night. The service is friendly and they like to sing to each other. That’s right. Whatever. But what is it with Mexican dives and overcharging for credit/debit card use?

exellent asada meat, too bad I live so far from this place but if I drive by it again I will come by for sure. I’m very picky when it comes to tacos and this is one of my top five places.

One night, was hungry and stopped by Taqueria El Triunfo. Ordered some carne asada tacos and lengua(cow tongue) tacos. Loved it. After my first serving I liked them so much, I ordered a few more(asada tacos). I believe they were only $ 1.09. They two cooks were really nice, too. Quality tacos. Low price. Good service. RECOMMENDED.
