Pepz Pizza & Eatery

My entire family has been going to this Pepz for years and last Friday one of our good friend and the person that actually got our entire family going to this location has been banned from entering for something that has never been an issue in the past. I am going to tell my entire family and friends to boycott this location!

Pepz is our go to pizza place when we are ordering in. The California delight pizza is delicious and their salads always have a ton of toppings. Plus they have the good ranch-​which is hard to find.

Had the antipasto salad and it was delicious! The salad was cold, the meats were appropriate and the dressing was on he side just as I asked. Would definitely recommend to a friend and would definitely order again! Thanks!

I was disappointed with the service. No acknowledgment when my party walked in. I asked for the high chair for my son and they pointed towards the back for me to go get, they couldn’t do it themselves.
The restroom for men/​women were dirty and old.
The pizza we got was half Alfredo and Hawaiian. Tasted bland. Buffalo wings were not good either.
Lastly, the place is small and not enough tvs.

Got delivery and they forgot a whole entrée. Unimpressed. Especially because I paid for two and tipped over 20%. Luckily we are from out of town so we won’t be back.

Great pizza, and great deals at great prices. The customer service is exceptional, and everything is very clean. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for home-​made pizza with great beer.

Can’t say much for the service when you order and pick up your food, I was generally discussed when standing there and watching the people walk past the carrots and celery, grab a few and shove them in their mouth and go make food, then walk back grab another handful and do it again! I don’t know if I will ever order again! They had so many people behind the counter it was hard for them to get the food out, it took over 25 minutes for them get my food and this was a pick up!

everything has been so good.
But tonight I decided to have a peppetrornie and sausage pizza delivered.
It was deliveryed in a timely fashion and was still
warm. But when I bit into it, grease ran down my
arm and onto my shirt. It was soggy, bland snd
very disappointing. For everone that has eaten
their pizza and injoyed it I am very happy for you.
Thats the way it should be. But that night it
turn out to be the worst pizza I have ever
eatin. I will go there to eat again, but I will never
order home delivery again.

I’ve tried Pepz four times now since moving nearby. I haven’t been sold on it yet.
The pizza is okay. It hits the spot when you’re craving pizza, but I wouldn’t put it in my top 5. I’ve tried the Italian, Supreme, and BBQ Chicken… All pretty good, but none are stellar. Their prices, however, are a tad higher than most pizza joints I frequent.
When I say I moved nearby, I mean like 5 minutes away. In case you were wondering, no… It still takes them consistently 45 minutes, sometimes more than an hour, for delivery.
To be honest, I prefer Zitos, but I’ll probably end up ordering from Pepz again. I think I’ll stick to pick up going forward though.

We’ve ordered from Pepz a handful of times, and they never disappoint. Ordering online makes it SO easy. They’re quick to deliver, and the pizza and sides are always delicious. The «nacho» fries are way too good!

One of the best pizza delivery places! They load the pizza with toppings and the crust is delicious!

A bunch of us from work ordered delivery from here for lunch one day.
They have lunch specials from 11−3pm with a handful of choices. I went with the Calzone special ($ 7.25). It comes with two toppings of your choice, a house salad and a soft drink. Good bang for your buck!
For my calzone, I chose meatball and spinach as my toppings. It was a good size and pretty tasty wrapped together with melted mozzarella and ricotta cheese. Their house salad is very basic but they give you a lot.
Our delivery order arrived later than we asked, so I would say pick up might be better if you’re in a hurry. Otherwise, not a bad lunch spot.

Great place and pizza! Guy behind the counter was awesome and very helpful. And even for how late we went in they where still great

Staff was very rude and not suggestive or helpful our cashier had a very annoyed attitude other than that food was great don’t think I’ll come back.

I have ordered from Pepz a few times for lunch while at work. But today was just a little different! I was at work starving and sick and I forgot my lunch oh. AND breakfast (GO ME!). I ordered the lunch special calzone (artichoke and spinach) and it was SOOO delicious! I ordered before they were open for delivery and I received my order about 20 – 25 minutes after 11:00am I was beyond excited to see my food show up and the guy who delivered was very friendly! My business continues with Pepz!

The pizza here is great and tested very fresh. The clientele is usually nice and friendly and the pizzas cook pretty quickly. I would have to say the only downside is the clientele are sometimes Sketchy. But nothing about the business!

Second time and I love it and the delivery guy was wicked friendly and genuine! The caller to take my order was efficient. The California delight is my favorite it’s so flavorful and well seasoned and just perfection!!!

Pepz hits the spot and has been a savior on a number of last minute meals/​occasions.
My go to always is the California Pizza which comes with chicken and get this, avocado. Pretty cool concept– just be warned that you have to eat this relatively quick because the avocado browns. I’ve also tried their Hawaiian and vegetable pizza and have been happy with those. Wings are available in a variety of flavors and they have a house salad that just features lettuce, tomatoes and some croutons.
I’m still scratching at my head on the price point… two medium pizzas and a salad set me back about $ 50+ seems on the higher end for just pizza. Still, you gotta pay if the situation calls for it.

I was extremely disappointed by my past experience with Pepz. I have been there once before dining in and it was pretty good. This time however couldn’t have been further from it.
I got delivery this time and ordered 1 large pepperoni pizza thin crust which cost $ 23.45. Little steep I thought but what the heck. 45 minutes was what I was told would be the time to get it. 45 mins later the pizza guy calls my phone saying he is at the gate. I open it and he cannot find the apartment for the life of him. Took about 10 mins before he calls and I finally just have him meet me at the office in the center of the complex. On top of that the pizza was cold and burnt. I definitely won’t be back.

The building is located in a shopping center with a few small businesses and an Albertsons. There is plenty of parking.
The place gets pretty busy during the evenings, weekends and when sports are on. They have a few big TVs and a bar.
The lunch specials are the number one thing i order most from here. They have four different ones and they are an awesome deal. I usually get the spaghetti combo which comes with a big salad, garlic bread, and a drink all for under $ 7.00.
The pizza is very good also.

I absolutely love pepz food. 5 stars for that. But 3 stars for their delivery. Multiple times I have ordered food and they have forgotten part of my order. It also either takes over an hour to get your order and I live less than a mile away. But I do love the food and will continue to eat there because it’s fantastic and the people who work their are really nice and considerate.

Very very good pizza here recommended by a friend and this place will not disappoint! Watch out for the after games tho from little kids running around everywhere. Pizza was perfect and so tasteful. Had a blast with my wife and son. Cool for catching a game too. Also have a bar inside. Nice place

We ordered a Philly cheese pizza, fried chickens with fried potatoes and calzone. Pizza tasted good but not outstanding. My husband really liked it though. Fried foods were so crispy but chicken was very dry. Calzone was okay. We should have added tomato sauce to it. Very busy during foot ball games.

This place is notorious for getting orders wrong in this area not one time has this place gotten an order right no matter who orders from there always double or even triple check your order also never order anything with artichoke hearts they have no idea how to cook them and use the bulb in cooking which is a choking hazard i highly recommend going to the one in Anaheim hills rather than this one but I know it’s a drive for some people

Just moved to Anaheim! Bomb pizza! ;) they deliver in less than 30 minutes every time too!

As a life resident of the city of Anaheim who frequently eats at the State College Pepz location in Anaheim, I am appalled at the service my colleagues and I received today. After incorrectly filling my coworkers order on a salad, she went to the cashier and told her the issue. To assist Pepz employees, we told them to complete my order with the special request of my coworkers so the incorrect salad would not go to waste, and the cashier approved. Minutes later, the manager on duty, Tony, approaches us with a demeaning attitude and berates us for complaining about my coworkers incorrect order. He asked us why we didn’t return the wrong salad, so he «could give it to another customer.» So I questioned him if he was going to give a non-​fresh salad to another customer & he said «well I can’t now that it’s half eaten.» I am in shock that as a manager, he was trying to shift the mistake that was made by Pepz on their own customers and doing so with the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. I will never again step foot in this Pepz location, and I will spread the word to my many colleagues, family, & friends.
I WRITE THIS REVIEW TO BRING TO THE MANAGEMENT’S ATTENTION THAT TONY IS A DISSERVICE TO THE RESTAURANT. THE COOKS AND CASHIERS SHOULD NOT BE WORKING UNDER THIS INCOMPETENT LEADER.

AWESOME! I am literally eating as I write this… We love pizza and this place has some amazing pizza! Ordered through grubhub, they came earlier than quoted (or maybe it just felt that way after all the park lines) they called to confirm our hotel and room # before leaving (so smart) and they were super friendly via phone and in person during delivery! If your staying at Embassy Suites or any where near here you need to order your pizza from these guys! Ps Mozzarella stick were pretty good too!

It was this past Sunday on the 6^th. It was late and just finished grocery shopping. Was starving and only place open before Labor Day. We had been here before when I was a teenager and all I can say was previous owner I believe was Zitos. Ewwww!!! When we stopped by in the past smelled of cigarettes, stale beer and burnt cheese. I was kinda hesitant but we all went. Oh my gosh!!! Can I say yummie. We ordered the special minus olives and mushrooms and half vegetarian. It was so good and crust was delicious. The vegetables and combo felt like I was eating meat for being a previous meat eater. I definitely recommend this place for games, baseball, basketball, MMA if they have it and any kind of gathering for a good and reasonable priced meal!!! Love it!!! My new pizza place.

We got the special w/​an X-​large pizza & 10 buffalo wings for $ 30 w/​tax. Pretty good deal. We got a pepperoni pizza w/​jalapeños on half of it & it was really good. I also love their ranch. The buffalo wings explain the 3 stars… so disappointing this time. We’ve had them before & thought they were good so I’m not sure what happened! The sauce looked greasy? & it tasted watered down, if that makes sense. It lacked that good buffalo flavor & they weren’t very spicy.

Ive ordered takeout from pepz 3 times and everything ive ordered is good… im only giving 4 stars because i ordered the pastrami sandwich because i read that the pastrami was amazing and full of meat and i wanted to try something new. It also takes an hour or so to deliver. So be sure to do it an hour in advanced especially for the lunch specials! After waiting over an hour i finally got to dig into my disappointment of a pastrami sandwich. It was over cooked, dry, and was very sparse meat-​wise. So i will not be ordering the pastrami ever again! Their pizza is decent and i LOVE the pepz nachos! Very yummy, very well priced, just needs a little more cheese and theyre perfect. Unfortunately i thought about taking the pic after the fact and ate half of the sandwich but the other half looked just like the one in the pic!

I can honestly say I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with pepz. However I will admit I’m not a fan of the pasta they serve, was still plenty good to eat, but not something I’d die to have again. Now on another dish, the pizza and cold sandwiches are amazing. Almost one a week I find myself ordering from pepz. Has a great staff, and more then fair prices. Would recommend to anyone.

Just moved to the area and I have a nice little spot to hang out and drink some beer and take in some sports. On top of some pretty good food. Pepz is a great little hole in the wall spot with that old school pizza joint feel.
I have not explored the menu to much so far but what I have tried I have liked. Lets start with the Pepz nachos which are loaded potato wedges. These things are fantastic. Nice solid wedge with loads of bacon and cheese on it. Now lets get to the pizza, I have only gotten the pastrami pie but man this thing is on point. I was surprised as these kind of pizzas are tough to pull off. My only gripe was that we got a personal size that left the pizza a little doughy. I would get a bigger size next time.
They have a small little game room for kids and TVs are everywhere. Most of the games are in pretty rough shape so be warned you kids may be crying that they lost their quarter or the game doesn’t work. Beers are decent prices here and so is the food. Nice place to check out if you are in the area. If you dare to try it, get the pastrami pizza its great. CHEERS!!!

Ok ambience the view is better from the outside. A large amount of seating especially for big groups TVs everywhere with a full bar. The special were reasonable it seems pretty well staffed no one is rushed. The pizza left something to be desired for it was average and the sausage was a little iffy. The on the other hand were magnificent. You need to try the mango habanero right now the chicken is fresh I would say the wings are better than BWW but for my pizza I’ll stick to my every day round table or Pizza Hut.

I was here last night to watch the Denver Broncos vs Indianapolis Colts NFL Game and it was just fantastic, all the customers around are like a family.
I’ll go every mont almost and very friendly people we enjoy our pizza and beers! Good time last night.
