Plus 5 more stars I’ve been coming here for the last 6−7yrs and never a disappointment. The freshness, variety and quality of what a fruit salad should be. Best fruit place in OC. They are always so busy so be patient, totally worth the wait.

I’m writing this review because I felt bad for one of the workers. I usually have no problem when I come here but I had gotten my order by what seemed to be a new worker and she was super friendly and smiling and great. I was waiting for my order and then I heard some food prep or lady from the back come and yell at her and be extremely rude. I don’t even think she was a manager or owner. I really think that older lady should not be yelling at the new friendly girl, especially since I noticed the girl didn’t say anything back. That lady from the back needs to learn basic politeness especially amongst team members and in front of guests. The stars are for the new cashier but that lady in the back seemed miserable and needs some sort of warning. The girl went back and handed out her orders smiling and unfazed and for that I applaud her ! Thank you front of house cashiers. You guys rock :)

Sizes were great! Shareable size for cheap. Chamango didn’t have mango pieces in though :/ Corn in the cup, got a large. Nothing to special, kinda bland. Corn wasn’t sweet at all.

I have a bittersweet experience with my visit to Natural, mostly bitter. Let’s start with the sweet — I came here over a year ago to try the ever so famous chamango drink that had become a growing sensation on instagram and whatnot. Though it was a little intense, it opened me up to the world of Mexican chabet and drinks in general. Now onto the bitter part — The girls working that day were rude and seemed like they hated their job. My sister and I waited over 45 minutes for our two orders of chamangos. We watched as several people who came after us came and received their orders before us. I don’t know if this establishment just has bad customer service in general or if we, being Asian, were just being discriminated against. Nonetheless, I never revisited Natural and am content with the many other places I’ve discovered since then. Even though it’s been a long time since I tried this place, my poor experience is still vivid and I wanted to let my fellow Unilocalers know. If you’re looking for a good chamango drink, try Elado, Zero Degrees, Or Kups.

I really like this place! But I find that they are very rude. Maybe I care too much about how places treat their customers but if someone seems like they don’t want to help you then you most likely won’t go back. I went in for a banana split and specifically told the girl(that was giving me attitude as it was) that I didn’t want peanuts. What does she do? Puts peanuts on my ice cream! She even wrote no peanuts in the label! I didn’t check the ice cream until I was home so couldn’t really go back and complain cause it was too late. Well anyways maybe it was just her being a you know what and not wanting to be there but yea I think attitude sucks there.

I heard about Natural ever since I started working nearby. I’ve been hooked on it ever since and have frequently come here before or after work along with making special out-of-the-way trips here when I am not working or in the nearby area. This place has a bunch of snacks that remind me of my Mexican-Asian infused childhood. I’ve have tried their Chamango, Corn Cup, Shrimp Cocktail [Shrimp Coktail on the menu], Twiztter Cup, Tropical Cup and Broccoli & Cheese. I absolutely LOVE the Chamango and Broccoli & Cheese cup! On a hot day I will get the Chamango because of how delicious it is! Love the chamoy along with the straw wrapped in tamarind they give you to drink this tangy yet sweet drink. The Broccoli & Cheese is so simple yet so damn good. Take boiled broccoli along with topping it with nacho cheese and you will get something amazing and craveworthy. I get it every. single. time. I come here. I’ve recently started to venture off and try new things on their menu and when I tried the Shrimp Cocktail(yes, that is how it’s spelled on their menu), it was a disappointment. The«delicious home made sauce» was not delicious in the least bit, the shrimp tasted like defrosted mini shrimp, and just the combination of the other things inside like the onions, cilantro, cucumber and avocado, did not mary together all because the tomato sauce. The Twiztter Cup, was an item that was recommended to me for me to try, and boy was it refreshingly good! A mix of chopped watermelon, pineapple, coconut, and«all the mixed fruits» combined with orange juice and chile powder is too good. I frequently get this to accompany my Broccoli & Cheese. The Tropical cup contains more fruit in the cup such as cantaloupe, strawberry, apples, banana, cherry, kiwi, mango, grape and papaya. There is no orange juice so it makes this cup a bit more dry, but they do add Lime and chili to it if you want. Overall, this place is a great place to go to if you want to snack on something ANDYOUHAVETHETIMETOWAIT. The wait for this place is RIDICULOUS though sometimes. I have waited up to THIRTYMINUTES just for a broccoli & cheese cup. I mean are they growing the broccoli back there or churning the milk to make the cheese? Because to wait that long is just a huge disappointment. If you’re going to try this place, just be prepared to wait a while, once you have that mindset things will be nothing but smooth sailing!

I went for lunch to this place because I was craving a mangonada. If you’ve ever had one from cancun juice, it is nothing compared to this place. In my opinion, the ones from here are bland and sour. They are also watery and expensive for the size. I got a small for 4, and the tamarind stick was mediocre. In my opinion I will just go to cancun juice by Lincoln instead. I also got a small corn cup. It comes with cheese, the crumbly kind AND the mozarella kind, chili powder and butter. it was tooo cheesy and by half of it there were globs of mayo which made it runny and overbearing. Next time I will just ask for corn and crumbly cheese. I belive the small corn cup was $ 3. Overall, I would not have their mangonadas. I do not know if I will be back for anything else.

A bit on the pricey side, but so good. Just like the other reviews, the«Fresas con Crema» is delicious. It is a bit on the sweeter side, so be warned. Strawberries aren’t always the sweetest either. The strawberries are definitely pricey at $ 5 you get a small and at $ 7.50 you get a large. I love the Corn Cup, so good. It consist of corn, mayo, cheese, butter, lime, and chili. If I want a custom fruit smoothie I just come here and ask for a strawberry, pineapple, and orange fruit smoothie. Prices can vary between $ 3.50 to $ 5.50. They also have have juices, shakes, and other smoothies for about the same price. They also have fruit salads, sandwiches, and ice cream sundaes. Services is just meh. No big deal though. Order ahead, at times they get extremely busy especially during the lunch and school rush.

When I got to the establishment I saw a delicious strawberry drink on the back counter. So I ordered one. And they gave me that very same drink! They scribbled out«Danny» and put my number. God knows how long it has been sitting there because it wasn’t that cold and was melting. In addition, it tasted nasty any way and so did my friend’s cherry apple. It tastes like dirty cherries. To me it tasted like the jar cherry juice mixed with crap. Should have gone to McDonald’s and spent $ 2 instead of the $ 8.50 to fill a trash can with this shit. 3.50 for the cherry catastrophe. And $ 5.00 for Danny’s drink. No wonder he didn’t come pick up his order.

~~~Thirst Quenching Treat~~~ Another place one of my girlfriends introduced me to after a good hike in the summer heat. I wanted to try a new coffee joint in the same area, but boy was I glad I let her decide! ChamoyMango! So cool & refreshing! To be honest with you, it was my first time trying it. I didn’t like it initially. I drank it from the candied tamarind straw without mixing it and got a good mouthful of the spicy, salty, sweet & sour chamoy. Definitely mix it up real good with the mango smoothie. The more I kept drinking, the more I started enjoying my smoothie. It’s one of those drinks where you’re either going to like it or hate it. The candied tamarind straw was an additional treat! Trust me, in time, you’ll learn to enjoy it like I did. I tried my friend’s watermelon smoothie… that was very good too. They make their smoothies with REAL fruits! My friend’s been here several times and mentioned the shrimp cocktail’s worthy to devour here. We didn’t have any problem finding parking in their shared parking lot but I hear it can get pretty busy. We have lots of places like this near my area but I would say this is the best place, so far, I’ve been to. Looking forward to coming back after my next hike!
This place reminds me of my roommates. Like any other regular person, I checked Unilocal first to see what to get. I was lazy so I just looked at the pictures. And of course, there are many pictures of Chamango. I guess I didn’t look It detailed enough, so I thought it was a mixture of strawberry and mango mix into one drink. Because that seems very appealing to me, I decided to get Chamango. I saw some comments in the pictures that says the straw was candy, so I thought that would be very interesting. After getting my drink, I realize that the red stuff was not strawberry. It is the chili candy that you can find a Mexican convenience store. And, just a fun fact to throw out there, I cannot eat spicy food. I think black pepper is very spicy… so of course I had a very difficult time trying to enjoy a cold beverage on a hot, California, summer day. The drink was cool and hot that it created an interesting experience. While I was struggling, I thought of my roommate trying to feed me all these hot snacks… so basically, this drink brought back memories from a few months ago. Although I do I eat spicy things, I really did enjoy Chamango. Before walking in, I was expecting artificial fruit flavoring for all their drinks, but all were made with real fruits. If I were to come back here again, which I’m sure I will, I will probably only get Chamango. For now, I’m not sure where I can find something like this anywhere else, whereas I can make my own fruit smoothies at home. I hope to try more of their menu in the future, but from the drinks I saw while waiting for mine, I’d say Chamango is the most unique… so make sure to check this place out while you’re around the Disneyland area!!!
I wonder when the owners will realize that they’ll need to open another Natural location — like ASAP. We’ve all been dying slowly from this retarded heatwave lately that we’re practically willing to stand in front of our freezers just long enough that the electrical doesn’t flip over.(GUILTY!) So, as an alternative, it would be nice to have a really really good«Anything That Has Ice In It» Beverage. Just like the next gal, I automatically think ICECREAM! But also, just like the next gal, lets face it, but my metabolism doesn’t love me that much to keep burning all that sugary goodness. So next best thing? Smoothies! *Looks in Kitchen Cupboards…* Darnit! No Blender –_-* So, on that benchmark day that I typed in ‘smoothies’ on my Unilocal App, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Naturals was just 1 mile away! Another refreshing fact is that this place actually serves their smoothies from real fruit and not powder alternatives. YASSSSS. Feeling less guilty already. Finally, you can also ask that they not add any sugar ATALL, if you felt like being a healthnut that day.(Oh Yeah!) So I’m proud to say that I found my neighborhood smoothie parlor where I can order by phone to speed up the process or just pop in. BTW… they still love my chubby side and carry ‘Thrifty’ style ice cream… *GASP* Yes, I went there.
I thought I was walking into another ordinary ice cream store. It’s not. They do have ice cream(about 12 flavors). It’s their fruit menu that really sets them apart. I got the Escamocha(small $ 5). It’s basically a Greek style yogurt, which contains various fruit(incl. coconut slices), granola, plain yogurt and honey. The fruit was fresh and varied. I asked for just a little bit of honey and it was still sweet enough. Most people got a smoothie, which uses fresh fruit as well. They have various other fruit and smoothie options and even broccoli and cheese(huh?!). I actually like broccoli and cheese but it seemed out of place here. The only thing I didn’t like was one of their staple smoothies. I forget the name but it was mango smoothie with some spicy/salty red stuff. It was so not good. The straw came with that red stuff in jelly form wrapped around it. I don’t know what the attraction is but it’s not for me. The ladies that worked the front was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. They might do well to put up pics so they don’t have to re-answer the same questions. The inside can hold about 40 people. It’s not brand new but they maintain it well so it’s very comfortable inside. I would recommend this place.
Menu: great. Chamango/mangonada/chamoy mango whatever its called is great! Tamarind straw makes it even better ! Corn cup is okay for me. I couldn’t really find the corn and it is soooo cheesy and buttery. It made me feel like a fatass. It was pretty much 50% corn, 50% fat. We decided to come here before dinner and half way through the corn cup, we are stuffed. Service: this is where I decided to –2 stars. When we ordered, I asked for two tamarind straws, when they called out number, they gave us two straws. The other girl asked for our receipt and said we weren’t charged for the second straw and said its gonna be a $ 1 extra and was so rude about it. As the girl(who took our order) came to give us a spoon, the pretentious ass girl was questioning her about not charging us and the spoon fell over to the ground where I was standing. None of them even took any notice and I had to ask for another straw without them apologizing or anything. The cups were dirty, mayonnaise from the corn cup was everywhere. It was really stressful picking up the food and it took a while too.
Mexican style drinks and snacks! *Corn cup: VERY yummy. I’ve had some from the streets of TJ and remember being a bit traumatized by seeing all the butter, cheese and mayo they put in it. This one was very tasty and didn’t feel as heavy. *Lomo sandwich: good and a tad spicy. I chose the torta bread which was crunchy. *Mango smoothie: good. I saw tablespoons of sugar being added on the blender but surprisingly didn’t taste too sweet. Didn’t taste like frozen fruit, but«natural» I paid $ 12 for everything, shared half of the lomo sandwich, couldn’t finish the corn and still ended super stuffed. Would definitely go back for the corn and try other smoothies!
This place is good enough if you have a craving for Mexican sweets & treats. The area there is pretty small, and for the amount of customers there are, I’m surprised they don’t have a couple tables and chairs outside. Even just chairs by themselves to allow people to eat their food. My friend and I got the corn in a cup, and it was enough to satisfy my craving. The cheese was very melted and I really enjoyed that part of it. On the other hand, my friend mentioned that it tasted like the corn came out of a can. Very true. It’s not the same like the«elote man» that goes by your neighborhood selling corn on the cob, which is where this concept came from. I love mango and the Chamango was refreshing. I got a large to share with my friend and they gave us enough that we couldn’t finish. I thought that was worth the money. Overall, I liked the concept of this business, I would just really consider putting chairs outside.
