Always see this donut shop so busy on my way to work every morning and finally decided to stop by today and I’m glad I did. It looks run down and a little dirty but the donuts are good. The guy working was very nice. They seemed to have a endless selection of all kinds of donuts and it was only 4:45AM. Donuts were fresh and delicious. Will be making plenty stops here from now on.

This was my first time trying a glazed cronut and i have to say it was a little on the pricey side… it was tasty though. Arrived around 7pm and the donut supply seemed endless which is a plus.

Donuts duh… what more do they need… The ladies were nice although when I told her my son wanted a different donut she said…” we’ll he asked for the wrong one…” she was right, but he’s seven… no grace in here! My kids need a little harsh treatment, I’ll start taking them here once a week!

Meh… The Donuts here taste old and stale… I’ll give them points for trying to be different by sprinkling on some extra toppings on some traditional donuts like their Chocolate Bar WITH Peanuts. But in the end, what I look for is that fresh and fluffy tasting Donut. I did not find it in these Donuts. D & Q Donuts on Magnolia still reigns supreme for me. The workers there also looked so unfriendly and uninviting. I love when I walk into a place and I’m greeted with a smile and even try to strike up small talk with us… it starts the process of developing a life long customer.

Work building is between Miss Donut(what if that was a beauty pageant for fat chicks?! Awesome!) and Del Taco. Not very interesting or healthy options, but whatever. I know frequenting these places will make me a candidate for Miss Donut, so try to keep it to a minimum. The building is kind of run-down, and there are usually at least 4 dirty, creepy dudes sitting outside, waiting to ogle any chick that walks by(and possibly ask them for money). Seriously, I glare at them and they don’t look away. Those dudes either have some insane confidence or a mental disorder. That hospital down the way is probably evidence of the latter. The donuts are pretty good. The coffee is horrible. However, the ham & cheese croissant is ridiculous! SOO good and so so bad for you. It comes in a white paper wrapper that turns clear immediately(which is indeed your window to weight gain). They sometimes make the ham & cheese croissants with jalapenos. Danggggg. A culinary triumph. Worth the 2 minutes to and from spent getting leered at.

The reason this place is able to stay open is simple — close to a hospital. Medical professionals seem to love anything that clogs an artery or helps them forget how stupid patients are. This place serves up donuts, eclairs, and pastries that help with both of those things. The coffee is awful here. Might not even put a fire out. Think worthless. The doughnuts are pretty good if you keep it simple. Plain, sugared, and glazed they can do well. Wouldn’t recommend trying a jelly or a crème filled. Not a skill filled business. More of a we are convenient and cheap business. Open 24 hours. Not the best English here — but serviceable. You don’t need to hear them teach an encyclopedia — your here for donuts so don’t whine. What this place needs is a Tim Horton’s.
