McCormack roofing replaced our roof approximately 12 years ago. Every year we receive advertising from the company to contact them for repairs or additional services. This year our roof is leaking in MANY places throughout the house. When McCormack was called to get an estimate on a repair I was told they no longer can do repairs as they have too much new business and can only repair those still under warranty. I could be put on a wait list but it would probably be March before they could get to us. When asked if they could recommend another company I was told they could not. Too bad they can’t stand behind their product, service and workmanship. Will be taking our business elsewhere and recommend anyone else do the same!

@ other reviews. Yes, small companies who employ a sales force who is less than average will unfortunately affect the face of the business in the open market — such as forgetting a ladder and thus a home owner thinks the whole operation is weak.
Yet in the end, the team that is deployed to remove the roof and reinstall it, is what matters. I can say from my experience with McCormack, they have an experienced group of installers that provide a great service for a reasonable price.
Firstly the tear off. I was shocked at how kind and professional the removal team was. Usually teams hired solely for demo and removal, are not the best communicators or in the brightest of moods. This team that showed up from McCormack was early, kind, very easy to communicate with, and worked hard.
The PM that I worked with — ‘Jaime’ — was excellent. To be a good roofer, you must also be a good carpenter — one that can fix wood problems (twisted joists /​wood rot /​broken decking) found when you remove the old roof. My home, built in 1951, was a disaster underneath the old roof. Jaime and his team did a fantastic job ‘truing’ up the old roof, and laying down the new roof.
I also had 38 posts installed ahead of time for solar. Jaime and his team not only flashed every one of them in, but went back and painted each post afterwards. You only get this level of detail when the team cares about their work, and wants the home owner to be happy. This is what I experienced working with the team from McCormack roofing.

I had to wait a week to get a guy to come out to give me a quote on my roof. He arrived, not in a truck, but a four door car. When asked where was his ladder? He told me in the trunk. Ten minutes of talking later… His ladder did not reach to top of my house… need I say more… unprofessional…he also was unable to answer a simple question on how do they attach the Spanish tile to the parapet wall… he said he would have to call his contractor? What? This place is a fleet of sales people who I guess subcontract the work out and take a cut of profit on your price you will be paying. I want a trades person not a sales B.S. «ER» person.

McCormack Roofing installed our roof six years ago and did a fantastic job. We had one of the wettest winters that year and were hit with a huge rain storm during our install. McCormack roof hung in there and got the job done. Their pricing was very competitive and their customer service was one of the best we have ever experienced. We highly recommend them for any of the construction services they offer!
