This was the most disgusting Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. Spring rolls tasted like some sort of unidentified animal which completely freaked me out, fried rice was white rice with some soy sauce squirted on it … Like really people? Don’t go there it will disappoint. Plus delivery took about an hour and a half and the delivery guy couldn’t find our place and barely spoke English. Rough!

Wow! Chinese food and I have an interesting relationship. I love it. LOVEIT. However, a clean diet doesn’t really allow for it, and… it gives me the wind something fierce. Like category 1 hurricane winds over a stagnant swamp in a hot, humid summer. Pretty bad. Well not this time! I ordered vegetable chow mein, orange chicken and Mongolian beef — all were delivered quickly, piping hot, in awesome reusable containers. The quality and taste were out of this world — hands down the best Chinese delivery/take-out around north OC. It was delicious. And I’d go 6 stars if I could… I wasn’t hungry an hour later, the food was NOT greasy, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy, no weird Chinese fast food smell, and most importantly no farts. My house thanks you. Would order from again in a sec, and have already told everyone in my local circle about it. GREATFOOD, great value, no Chinese food fart aftermath.

These guys are probably the best Chinese spot in the area. Respectful, kind staff with great service and the food is delicious! Waiting on my fourth order from them right now :)

We have been searching for good Chinese food since moving in over a year ago and finally found our place! We order the family meal and everything was perfect. The Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken were wonderful, the family devoured both. I really loved the egg drop soup and chicken chow mein. Everything tastes homemade. So glad we found this place on Unilocal. We will absolutely be ordering again soon.

My go to Chinese food place around Stanton. I get the Kung Pao Trio(Chicken, Shrimp, Pork) and always filled satisfied in taste and in portions. This place is way way better than Panda Express actually Panda Express is not even in Kung Pao House’s radar. The food is flavorful and reasonably priced. I’m sorry to say but Chinese food in Orange County does not even compare to the Chinese food in the Bay Area but this is best bang for your buck that you are going to get.

stumbled upon this place while getting pizza from little caesar’s and I decided to try it at some point. few days after I walk in, the place is not always busy so I was skeptical but adventurous me decided to eat anyway. I ordered Pad Thai and was even more skeptical knowing it’s a Chinese place but to my surprise the food was amazing, I can compare it to the ones I had in Bangkok. also the portion size was more than enough, I couldn’t even finish my plate, I’m a big guy. I took a menu and decided to use the free delivery next time for ordering.

I’m really mixed about what to give this place. I really enjoyed my food, but the food also really upset my fiancé’s stomach, so I am right in the middle on this one. I will say though, that I am open to ordering from them again. My fiancé and I decided to order some Chinese delivery for dinner on a Saturday evening, and we settled on Kung Pao House because of the high reviews for delivery. Plus, delivery was free! You can’t really beat that. The food comes in two sizes, individual and a la carte. Both come with free rice, or you can upgrade to steamed veggies for $ 1. Also, you can make it a combo and add an egg roll and soup for only a dollar. Needless to say, this place is pretty cheap. I ordered the honey walnut chicken because I’ve only ever heard of this dish with shrimp, but I was so intrigued that I tried the chicken version. My fiancé ordered the Mongolian Trio which had shrimp, beef and chicken along with onion in a combination of oyster, soy, and wine sauces. I also got the cream cheese wontons and the thai spring rolls. Our food arrived around 45 minutes after the order, which was what we expected. It arrived very hot, and the man who delivered the food even brought utensils and plates, which was very thoughtful. My food was really delicious and the portion was huge considering I just got the individual size. The wontons were really nice and crispy, plus they had a lot of cream cheese. They went very well with the sweet and sour sauce. My honey walnut chicken was great. The walnuts coated in the sauce were the best part. The chicken was lightly fried, but it wasn’t too heavy. They also gave a huge portion of both the chicken and the fried rice, so this can easily last 2 – 3 meals. The only bad part was that my fiancé was up the whole night after eating from here, and his stomach was really messed up for a couple of days after eating here. He too is open to trying this restaurant again, but he wouldn’t order the Mongolian trio ever again.

Best Chinese joint in the area? IDK but it ain’t bad! I dropped my daughter off around the corner for a Girl Scout overnighter and thought I’d head over to Tom’s(Tito’s) Tacos. Toms is RIP so I Unilocaled and found this place in the corner of the same strip mall. With mostly 4 – 5 star reviews I was hungry and I figured it was worth a try. I walked in and the place was EMPTY not a single patron in site. KPH is a nice sized place with 8 – 10 booths and as many tables. I almost did an about face and headed out the door when it hit me. A scent from my past… No not a fart leftover from the ride but the smell of sesame oil hitting a hot wok. Ok I thought I’m here lets give it a try. Sketchy strip mall ain’t gonna scare me off either! One of my first real jobs was as a cook at a local Chinese restaurant in Pueblo Colorado the Golden Dragon(closed after I left many years ago) however I had nothing to do with the closure I think it was the many dubious fires and insurance fraud. But one thing I learned was how to work a wok and how I like my Chinese a-la-westernized Sichuan food. The waitress/server/owner lady was way nice. She took my drink order and gave me a couple more min to decide on my dinner. FOOD: My first trip alone: Drunk Man Fried Rice nice sized portion, tasted ok. Did not taste the curry. ½ order Honey walnut Shrimp Nice sized for one, very good sweet flavor with 8⁄9 big shrimp this is a good buy as well. Mongolian Beef A little more veggies than I care for but the taste is on the money. The Beef is tender and yummy. Next trip I went with my kids and we shared Mongolian Beef see above, my son loved it, no leftovers for me! Boo! Orange Chicken Average, but my daughters both gobbled it up Shrimp Fried Rice Pretty tasty, lots of shrimp. Pan fried Noodles My youngest wanted this but I ended eating most of it, she didn’t care for the veggies. I liked it’s crunch and veggies. All the food is cooked to order, no steam table stuff here. They bring it to you as it comes out of the wok’s piping hot. All seems to be fresh and all is tasty. They look to do a lot of take out and delivery here. Even got online ordering You can even make a reservation here, not sure why cuz it is never crowded. The man and woman running the place are super nice and make sure you’re happy campers. The bathroom is clean, and the prices are affordable too! I’ll be back

Best Asian-style food in the area, by far. The Pad Thai is absolutely amazing. But absolutely everything that we’ve gotten here has been excellent — and we’ve toured the menu. We’ve been getting food delivered from here through just about once a week, sometimes twice. The guy that delivers it is always extremely nice. The food is always hot and fresh. Really, if you’re in the area — you have to try this place. I won’t go anywhere else for Asian food now.

Excellent food. Love their hot and sour soup. Fish with black bean sauce was very good, Mongolian beef was tasty as well. Pot stickers fresh tasting and excellent service. Nothing fancy but as long as food is tasty and fresh we are happy.

I ordered a few times on eat24(delivery)… and the walnut shrimp are so good! Better than Panda Express. I have also ordered the Chow Fun Dry Style which which was okay but nothing I would order again… although the beef on it was good. I ordered the salt & pepper fish which is pretty good guess but it spoiled very quickly. The curry style beef with rice was the worst dish I ordered. It tasted nothing like curry and was more so a beef gravy broth(ew). I honestly would have given this place 2 – 3 stars because of that; however, the walnut shrimp is real good in addition to the fact that they deliver so I’m giving them 4 stars based on that. As for delivery… the first time it took them 30 minutes to deliver and the second time I ordered it took them 1 hour to deliver.

This has become my family’s number one place to get Chinese food delivery. Delivery is free and fast — Grubhub usually estimates about an hour for food to be prepared and sent, but our orders have typically arrived in 35 – 45 minutes. The delivery guys have been pretty nice, too. And the food is… well, the food is hit and miss. They have some delicious entrees, and they have some very«meh» items as well. Yes to wor wonton soup, honey walnut shrimp, bbq pork with snow peas, and salt and pepper shrimp. No to the traditional fried rice and chow mein. The food may not be as good as other Chinese places in Orange County, but the menu has enough winners and the service is good enough for us to become regulars.

Unilocal Challenge 2015. 211⁄365 Hey you, yea you. Park it right now. Take a chance here. I Drove by the empty resturant too, checked Unilocal to see what it was all about. I actually stopped and assured the hubsters it actually got good reviews. You may think once, twice or even three times before coming here. I mean, how can a place like this be that good? Well it is. And I assure you, all the other Chinese places in this area can not even compete with this place. Service, Taste and price all rolled into 5 stars. Located at Ball and Beach, tucked into a corner. Unless your looking, you won’t see it. Plenty of seating inside to accomondate larger parties. Serving up made to order dishes. No hot trays here. Everything is freshly made. Everything is affordable. Orange Peel Beef is off the hook. Super flavorful, saucy and good. One of the best ones I’ve had in the area. Huge portions too. 5 stars. Lemon chicken, is a thick chicken cutlet deep fried to perfection and covered in a thick lemon sauce. I liked it. Came with white or fried rice. This chicken is very plain. If your with picky ones, they will appreciate it. If your into more flavor, then this dish is not for you. If your dieting, I am sure you can get the sauce on the side and say no to rice. Honey Walnut individual shrimp was enjoyed by the hubsters. Not a big portion. Luckily he didn’t have to share with me. He said it was good. I am a fan. 5 Stars. #695

Had an inkling for some Chinese food before the Angels game. Not being familiar with the area I Unilocaled this spot seeing it had a near perfect rating. Arriving at the spot with my GF it looked like a slightly«rougher» area of town, but boy were my expectations surpassed! The place was super super clean. The owner of the place greeted us and was such a nice guy. We ended up ordering War Won Ton soup, combination chow mein and some Mongolian beef. The prices were very reasonable and the food was absolutely great! I’m glad I know of a really good place in Anaheim to grab some Chinese food now and will surely return next time I’m down here!

Kung Pao Chinese food is located at the SW corner of Beach and Ball st, tucked away behind a fast food restaurant in a strip mall. The first thing I noticed was the location, you can’t see the place from Beach, and unless you know it’s there, you won’t see it. After going in, the next thing I noticed was that there was no one in there on a Saturday night… I felt bad because their food is REALLY good! Like REALLYREALLY good. Customer service was great, from the gentleman taking my order to the lady who handed me my food. Kind of a bummer they didn’t have anyone in there eating. I got: Orange Beef 4 stars: Delicious, what I liked is that the meat wasn’t overcooked, the beef was tender and the sauce was balanced perfectly. You would think that you can’t really mess up an «Orange» style dish, their version was delicious. Pan-fried noodles with chicken 5 stars: My favorite out of all of them. What I like is that with their Pan Fried noodle dishes, you get steamed rice as well. Since I got the dish to go, they separated the noodles from the chicken, and the sauce so when I got home I still had crunchy noodles. The sauce the meat was in was very light, not heavy at all; I would get that again in a heartbeat. Strongly recommended. Thai rolls 4 stars: For an egg roll, these rolls are yummy. Thoroughly cooked, and I would get again. I really like Kung Pao(as you can tell by the reviews other Unilocalers do as well.), and I am looking forward to going back, this is a place to support if you are local. TIP: You can order online for delivery, but their program states they only deliver 3 miles. Their menus state they deliver up to 5 miles away, so just call your order in for delivery if you don’t want to pick it up. Thanks!

I’m always picky when it comes to Chinese but this place is pretty good! Hopefully my stomach won’t ache in protest tonight haha. Anyways, the food is fresh and tasty, we were given generous portions, and the bathroom and dining area is clean. My only gripe is the quality of rice, which I prefer to be soft and sticky. Overall, this place is better than panda IMO.

There is no restaurant within 5 miles of place that is any better. You get large portions and can sometimes make 2 meals out of one. Although I usually wind up eating the whole dish leaving a very full belly because I can’t stop eating this delicious goodness. I’d recommend everything on the menu because I’ve tried 50% of the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Excellent and friendly staff and I always feel welcome here. I would definitely tell everyone reading this that if you get the chance– put this restaurant at the top of your wish list. You’ll be glad you did!!! big thumbs up!!! UPDATE: have tried Thai pad noodles, orange peel chicken. Drunk man fried rice, Kung paid chicken, banana chocolate rolls. Everything was AWESOME!!! Unfortunately, I’ve gained 15 lbs. since coming here. Well worth it. Now to start exercising so I can continue enjoying this GREAT restaurant.
