This place is amazing, I hope that it would get more exposure in the future. I ordered the salmon poke, baked lobster roll and the eel hand roll. They all came out extremely delicious. In addition, our waiter James was super attentive towards everyone which is a huge plus! I would come back here for sure.

More more more! This little shop can make some bomb teriyaki. Everything is fresh including their sushi. They do have a lunch special sometime midday that’s a good deal. Anything on the menu is so good. So so good. During lunch the place can get packed but overall !

The staff is friendly I didn’t manage to catch their name I was in zombie mode from being hungry so sorry guys! But clean environment it wasn’t packed(thank god) and yeah anytime I come back around this area I know where I’ll be going for sushi!

Waited almost an hour to get 2 rolls I ordered to go. If you like waiting impatiently for food this is definitely the place to go. Otherwise, call in(though people seemed to be frustrated about the wait time for phone orders too to be honest). It might’ve been a bad day, but still. Not coming here ever again.

Love going for lunch, everyone is so nice and the prices are great for the portions. My favorite roll(calamari tempura) was taken off the menu but they still made it for me!

They have excellent teriyaki bowls! Both chicken and beef are amazing. I like to get it with avocado on top, which is only $ 1 more! Their garlic edamame was delicious but huge! Defiantly shareable. The service is very good as well, friendly and accommodating!

Great spot if you’re in need of a quick and cheap sushi fix. I crave salmon at least six days a week so I typically order the salmon hand roll. For less than $ 4 you get a good amount of salmon inside the hand roll — a pretty good deal considering most restaurants charge more and will pack the hand roll with vegetables and rice to make up for the lack of fish. If you’re in the mood for maki, I recommend any of their special rolls! I love the Viva Las Vegas roll and their Superman Burrito. Obviously the food isn’t as authentic as some of the other sushi joints in the area, but if you’re looking for some«fast food» sushi then go here. If you’re looking for a sushi experience similar to the one on Jiro Dreams of Sushi, I suggest you keep scrolling through Unilocal. For all my quick fix sushi needs, Yamashiro gets four stars.

Crispy spicy tuna roll is my favorite here! The garlic edamame is addictive, I polished off the full order, I didn’t want to share! The restaurant is clean and small.

I work really close to this place although they need to update their name because they are now called Yamashiro. I get lunch here occasionally and I really like it. Their sushi is always fresh tasting and they give you really good portions for the price. Their bento boxes come with a lot of food and their garlic edamame is bomb.

Hidden behind El Pollo Loco and Carl’s Jr; next to Pepboys. Super delighted to find this place! Great food, inexpensive price, great service, clean and lots of parking. Pros: –Good food. We got a sushi combo that came with nigiri and a basic roll. We upgraded the basic roll to a special roll and ordered the rainbow roll. The rainbow roll was excellent! The fish was fresh and it was full of crabmeat. The bulgogi beef bowl was excellent too! — Huge portions. Look at all the food we got for less than $ 20! This would cost double the amount at a sit-down sushi restaurant! The rolls and the bowl was huge. Apparently the bowl comes with a free drink, edamame and soup. — Great service. The guy who served us was extremely patient, helpful and kind. I wish more restaurants had service like this! — Clean and decorated nicely. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant. The decorations were chosen with thought and placed appropriately throughout the restaurant. There were also two large television. Cleanliness is important to me and it was definitely clean! Overall, we like this place! We’ll definitely be back!

This place is now called Yashimiros. I’ve come here countless times as i work down the street and the Bulgogi(marinated meat) bowls are fantastic. I like the beef bulgogi bowl the best as it has a lot of flavor. The bulgogi bowls come with a few vegetables mixed in and of course have rice on the bottom. They also come with edamame and miso(just the broth, no seaweed or tofu). I love the miso here, they refill your miso on request. The staff here are always friendly and make your business feel welcome. The bowls can take awhile to make(usually 10 to 20 minutes, longer if they are really busy) so sometimes i call in my order before i drive over. The bowls are fairly inexpensive about 6 to 6.50. They dont come with a ton of meat but it’s hard to beat for the price. This place also has a lot of sushi options, I don’t care for sushi but my friends who do enjoy the sushi here. Rolls range from about 6.95 to 12.50.

This place is right across the street from work and I had never been there until I was lunching with a coworker and she suggested this place. I can typically find something to eat anywhere so I agreed to go. This is your standard teriyaki joint. They have bowls, some rolls, and other Japanese-esque items. It’s definitely not the most authentic experience you’ll have, but it’s a nice place to go for a good, quick, and cheap lunch.
