I bought a groupon for my daughter to take six weeks of dance classes for $ 20. For that price, I am glad I tried it out, but there is no way I would pay the regular price at this studio. The studio itself is run down and dumpy: broken mirrors, peeling paint, threadbare carpeting. It is also disorganized. There are no signs telling which class is in which room. The «front desk» is upstairs and not always staffed. The teachers are very nice, but the quality of instruction is spotty.

I bought the groupon for my little girl to do Ballet at this Anaheim Hills dance studio. First of all, the dance instructors were very nice and had alot of patience for the little dancers.
However the actual dance studio is very old and outdated. The place is very dark due to poor lighting, you have to take a long dark staircase to the dance rooms. The wait area/​check in has no air condition (dance rooms had the a/​c on).
The check-​in/​registration was unorganized and the staff was not so friendly.
For the $ 20 i spent on the groupon… I gave it three stars.
But I doubt i’ll be back w/​o a groupon. Thanks

We love HGDC!!! My daughter has been dancing here since she was 6 years old! And really enjoys being on the competition team! They have amazing, caring instructors! And a wide variety of classes for all ages!!! XOXO HGDC!

Higher Ground Dance Company is amazing. i just started going to there, this year, and i love it. The teachers there helped me so much in my life as a dancer. Others on my dance team at school have seen me get better as ive been going to this studio. It is a wonderful dance studio.

HGDC is a loving environment with well trained amazing teachers! Classes are professional and are designed to push dancers to full potential! If you are looking for a place to go with small classes, awesome instruction and one on one attention, HGDC is the place!

Higher Ground is such an amazing dance company I would never go anywhere else. Everyone there, including dancers and teachers, is so sweet it’s like another family. I have been to other studios before and have never found anywhere remotely as amazing as HGDC. Prices are totally affordable during these rough economic times and there’s no better place then this studio!
