El Rancho Meat Market

Always looking for great tasting carne asada as well as pollo. I found it! This meat market is small and quaint. Very clean and the gentleman that helped us was very nice. We arrived close to closing so the carne asada was almost gone; but he made more for us. The meat was very tasty, both kind. It was a hit at our family bbq/​get together. Very tender and seasoned just right.
While waiting, he let us try his sweet bread which was tasty as well.
The store is not big in the way of selection; but it carries just what a person needs to have a bbq with carne asada.
We also purchased flour tortillas which felt and looked homemade. The guacamole, cilantro/​onion, and salsa were also great.
Definitely will be back to purchase more meat.

Best carne asada that i’ve found in Orange County. The marinade is awesome! Its a little pricey at about $ 6 a pound but great quality meat and worth every penny. I tell all my family and friends to try this carniceria.

I purchased a couple of pounds of carne asada and a pound of chicken. The asada was delicious but I have had better. Definitely will be back in since it is so close to home and good food. The chicken also had great flavor. My favorite purchase here was the verde salsa. It had a kick to it! Overall a good place to buy something delicious to throw on the grill.

Great Selection and delicious marinade. The staff was very helpful in making my decision. There are many condiments to choose from. I will go to them for now on when in need of Carne/​Pollo Asada. Oh, also, their chicharrones was off the hook when made into tacos!

Great prices and service!

Stop by here on my way home today because I had a craving for some delicious al pastor. I pass by this meat market just about everyday and finally decided to give it a chance. This carniceria doesn’t have a huge selection (or maybe it’s because I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon) but they did have al pastor, Score! So I bought 2 lbs, some corn tortillas and salsa verde. Came home and prepared everything and boy I sure am satisfied. The al pastor had nice flavor of chiles and fresh slices of orange. Craving satisfied at a great price, only $ 10 for everything!

We read a good review for this place so we decided to check it out. We are so glad we did. The marinated carne asada was deliciously seasoned and lean. It was 4.99 a lb. I mentioned to the man behind the counter that this was my first time there and he threw in a really large (also marinated) chicken breast and piece of chorizo for me to try. They were both really good too! The place is clean and the service friendly. We’ll definitely return!
