So slow! Been waiting forever at the drive thru

Oh my gosh. It all starts with the speaker, as a formal employee, the girl on the headset (my receipt says IRENE) she said «hello» I was so embarrassed. I’m a huge believer in taking pride where you work and that was terrible. She had a bad attitude, said hello to the person behind me because she wasn’t sure if there was a car there. This was the worst drive thru experience.
Also my receipt has a coupon for a survey and it doesn’t work.

Horrible costumer service. And service in general. I waited 30 minutes for fries. I complained and showed them the receipt but the cooks tried denying me. Its upsetting that a small fast food chain does not care about their costumers.

Terrible customer service will never come to this location again. Gave me the wrong item when I told them I wanted soft not hard tacos they said sorry we already made them. So I ended up giving them back because I can’t eat hard tacos and they wouldn’t give me my money back.

Stopped in to grab a quick snack and this has to be the slowest place I’ve ever been to. They weren’t even busy and it took approx 15 minutes to get 2 tacos! Although to their credit, they put enough ingredients in there that they were decent.

We stopped at this location last Friday night. We were on our way home from Knott’s Scary Farm, were starving, and just pulled into this drive thru. It was around 2:15AM, there were a few people in line already. It did take a few minutes to place our order, but I think it might have been because its skeleton crew that late at night. We ordered our food… we got what we ordered, they were pleasant, and the food was good.
Its a Del Taco… If you just want quick food… this is the place for you!!!

Drive thru person has an attitude and does not know how to follow directions and Even when it was said when placing the order and at the drive thru window 2 times! Focus!!! how hard is it to get light ice in a cup! Simple easy task. To top it off the female was so rude just when asked about hot sauce. If you don’t want to be around people then don’t work a customer service job!

I should have taken the first clue in mind before opting for this Del Taco. As I waited at the light, with the drive-​thru in sight, I wondered why, after three minutes, the car sitting at the drive thru window hadn’t moved. I found out after getting in line for the ordering window. Another car was there, at the ordering voicebox, and stayed there for a full two minutes without anyone taking his order. Luckily I was able to back out, and parked, opting to go inside, figuring it would be quicker.
Right away I see a guy with a mic, taking orders for both inside and for the drive-​thru, and a lady in the back washing dishes. That’s it. Two people working in the whole restaurant. No cook? I order my burrito, wondering who would prepare it, only to see the dishwasher, with blue dishwashing gloves still on, walk from the sink to the counter, and prepare my burrito, and the others for the still waiting drive-​thru customers. I don’t care for the idea of someone making my food after handling who knows what at the sink. I do know that she did not wash her hands, or change gloves. The guy with the mic at the counter didn’t say anything to her except to tell her what to make.
Oh, and they didn’t put any napkins in my to go bag. Strike 3!

Always a long drive through wait. It doesn’t matter how many cars are in line. Just a heads up! Don’t go here if you’re in a hurry.

This is the worst Del Taco I have ever been to I’ve been here 3 times

first time, I asked for my fries to be well done instead I got refried french fries but were not crispy but soggy because they got refried
Second time went through the drive thru only one car was ahead of us they were honking for five minutes before someone came to the window and took their money after that another 10 – 15 minutes of waiting they started honking again so we just drove off and didn’t get our food
Today was my third and last time going, asked for my fries to be well done again but this time said please make them fresh the girl taking my order gave me attitude about it. Since they took so long again and I was running late to go back to work I didn’t check my food when I came back again soggy grayish brown refried french fries
The girls name was Daisy she has a horrible attitude and rolled her eyes

Del Taco is the affordable, fast choice when you’re craving «Mexican» food but can’t get to an actual Mexican restaurant for one reason or another. It works out for me because they serve beans, cheese and rice and I don’t eat any meat. I know they don’t cook their food with lard, like some spots I would love to eat at but won’t for that reason. I know Del uses a lot of preservatives like any other fast food joint, but once or twice a week it’s reasonable to grab a «jacked up bean and rice burrito» with some nachos and a soda. All under $ 5… Can’t beat that. As for this location in general, the eating area is pretty clean, the employees are just doing their job and there’s a big parking lot. Not much more to say.

Great staff, HOT food, goodness that was freshly made! and quick service. Only downfall, this location hardly has any shade and what little shade they do have is taken up by a guy that lives in his car.

Thee worst service everrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. The guy literally asked me to repeat everything 5 times and they STILL got my order wrong and ended up giving me compensation for the inconvenience. On top of that, their chicken stinks. As in, it smells bad. Not like their cheap «beef» is any better but I’m just saying! I’d much rather go to Taco Bell.

I just bought lunch from this place and I am extremely dissatisfied with the service. I called this location 10 mins after I left to inform them my sprite tasted like sparkling water. The general manager said he just tasted the sprite at both fountains and said that it tasted like sprite to him. Seriously, he had the nerve to imply that I am lying. After he insulted me, he said that he was extremely busy and asked what I wanted and he kept stating the same thing for the next 2 minutes.
The general manager is rude and I will never buy anything from this location.
I will contacting the main office today and inform them of my unpleasant experience.
It’s just a soda right, but if everyone who ordered a sprite and ended up with water during the lunch rush then I would not be the only unhappy customer.

Ordered two asada tacos, which where better then I had expected, pretty flavorful and generously packed with meat and guacamole. The problem was though, I had also ordered an epic surf and turf burrito which was well under subpar. First, it looked pretty beefy as it was wrapped, but once I opened it up I found it to be quite lacking in being on the full side. Now, that I could go ahead and deal with… That’s not that big of a problem. The problem I had was the epic surf and turf burrito, was all turf… There was no shrimp. :(this was very disappointing, and added to a horrible flavor because it was missing the seafood to balance the taste… This was very disheartening to me, as I was in a mood for the shrimp… And they weren’t even busy. There’s no excuse for that…

The chicken soft tacos with onions and cilantro. Get about 4 of these and some churros to finish off the night.
These guys are pretty quick usually and friendly enough.

We will start this way close to work and can get full on $ 2.00 not bad. They just did a remod that made it a little nicer. But it is what it is and some workers are nicer than some. It’ a roll around at least one new worker a week. Plus the area leads to some entertainment.

I’ve been losing faith in Del Taco over the last few years. But today my lunch bunch wanted DT. What was I to do? Coupon deal. Buy one get one free Double Del Cheeseburgers. Hey that looks like an old Naugles burger. I’m game to play.

Originally named Casa Del Taco, started in Yermo CA by Ed Hackbarth and David Jameson in 1964 Dick Naugle joined CDT later in 1964 but left in ’73 to start Naugles. In ’76 the then renamed Del Taco was sold to the man (Del Taco Inc.). Both DT and Naugles thrived and in 1988 they merged.
The 350+DT’s with 170+ Nag’s under the DT banner. Now in 18 states with over 500 stores.

FOOD:
OK so my two Double Del Cheeseburgers vaguely resembled what my head remembered as a double Naugle burger but then again my memory sucks.
For that matter it hardly resembled the DT pics, but what fast food looks like the chains made over food pics? ZERO, ZIP NADA!
TASTE:
After a couple of bites It tasted like I remembered! Hooray! Not a bad deal 2 Double Naugle Burgers (DDC’s) for like $ 4. 4****Stars.

I love Del Taco. Writing this review makes me want some. Haha.
They always have good prices and their food is delicious. Great for those late night cravings.

Taco Tuesday!
One of my favorite places to grab a quick bite.
It’s so close to my house that I could literally walk there, but I almost always use the drive thru. I have had a few problems with them getting my order correct, so I usually check my receipt once I get to the window and verify once I get the bags.
Minus one star for wasting bags! They give you separate bags for everything. It makes it look like I’m ordering for five people when I’m only ordering for two!
Sign up for their «newsletter» online and they send you coupons for free items for you to try. Pretty cool. Free is always nice.
I love their deals and they always have them neatly placed right by the menu to remind you. The fish tacos are one of my favorite items, and I absolutely love their fries.
Cheap food that satisfies a late night craving AND that’s conveniently close to my house? Yes please.
