Good old China King. it’s a typical fast-food Chinese place where you can order a la carte or the combo plates. what I like about this place is that they make sure to HOOKITUP. the styrofoam box is always PACKED to the brim, like it’s bulging, just waiting to explode(oh how I fit all of that in my stomache). even with the 2 entrée combo plate, you can definitely have 2 meals. the fact that they hook it up like that AND the price is cheap(cheaper than Panda Express) makes this place worth going. everytime I go it’s always packed here, and if you’re looking for quality food than not the place. but if you want to stuff your stomach on a budget with some good old greasy food, then this place works wonders. I definitely recommend the honey garlic chicken wings :)

Went in last night at around 8:00PM. There was only one person in line. I asked for half fried rice and half chow mein with orange chicken. The young girl rushes so fast scooping up what I ordered into ridiculously small containers. Do you want hot sauce and soy sauce she asks me? I reply sure. She rushes so fast like she’s about to get the hell out of here; the hot sauce sprays over the bagged food items but she gives no care. I go home to eat this crap only to find out the chow mein is damn old and so inflated. The fried rice was barely there all broken up. The orange chicken was barely any chicken and all batter. The food tasted so bland and artificial that it seems to me the new owners must have sold this place to people who have no experience with cooking techniques. But who cares since the old owner probably made tons of money selling this restaurant to idiots who had some decent loan opportunity. Good luck staying in this business. Your clientele mostly Hispanic has already taken notice of your lousy food. Even they are not desperate enough to pay for this crap. Not fresh at all.

Unilocal challenge 2015330⁄365 This place has always been good to me over the years. Located at Knott and Lincoln. Cant miss the corner office. It is not the best Chinese Food, but in a pinch it will do. Lots of choices to chose from from single, double, triple combos. It is all point and go. You point to what you want, then take it yo go. They have a few tables inside, but I prefer taking it home. So after 9pm the selection sucks. Duhh… its sat for hours. Nothing new comes out. By 9:30 they are cleaning up and selection is bare. To truly enjoy it, come early. #805

This is a nostalgic revisit for me, had been traveling to work on the same intersection during my school years. Pretty much still the same since I last visited like 5 years back, went in and got my favorite combo of fried rice /chow mien with king Pao chicken and beef. Same old extra large portions with not so great flavor but good customer service and old memories probably made me give them an extra star. Think of it as your neighborhood Panda Express that serves for 2 people in 1 plate.

This place is awesome! I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never been disappointed. Try the sweet and sour chicken and the bbq pork — those are my faves! The chow mein is really good… I prefer it over panda express chow mein. They always give you a ton of food so if you go with anyone, you really should just share a combo item… they give you more than enough food for 2 – 3 people. A must have is the cream cheese wonton!!! They always make it fresh so it’s always hot and perfectly crispy. Decently priced.. used to be a lot cheaper but they raised their prices recently. Still a lot of food for the price!

I usually wait in the dining area for fresh food. sucks when the food sits. Service can be good when it’s busy, Rush hour, fresh food, good service, good pace. Lobby has great space, open dated concept. I usually recommend doing everything. For chicken and fried rice. I’d rather do Mos2 on Western Ave. fresher and less likely to hurt my tummy

I landed here on a one sunny and hungry lunchtime searching for a decent place to grab a quick meal. There were few people at that time and I went ahead to check what they have behind the glass. I ordered for the 2 meat option with chow mein. When I sat down to eat my meal, I noticed that the chow mein tasted and smelled SPOILED! I approached the counter to let the lady know, she yelled«its not spoiled! How come youre the only one complaining!». I didnt want to argue at all. I stated again that it tasted and smelled spoiled. She then told another lady about my case. The second lady took my container and told me she just replaced the«old chow mein» with a new one. She gave me a new container with” new chow mein.“ First of all, If you know good Chinese food, THISISNOTONEOFTHEM. NOTEVENCLOSE. I WILLNEVERGOBACK. TERRIBLESERVICE, TERRIBLEFOOD. I don’t understand why this business opens at 10a but has NOTHING ready by 10a when customers are ready to walk in. If your business of operation is from 10a-10p then make sure you have food ready to go by the time you open until the very last second you close. What’s the point in opening at 10a if you have NOTHING ready. I then asked the lady, how long until the steam rice, & orange chicken ready? The lady replied 30mins. I would have waited a few minutes but not 30mins. That’s ridiculous. Open at 10:30a then, not 10a or come in 30mins earlier to get the food ready so that you can open by 10a & be ready to serve your customers. You just lost a customer &5 other people that were ready to buy, but didn’t bother because NOTHING was ready.

I have gotten take out about 3 times at this spot. No complains. Food is good, at a fair price. The neighborhood is run down but they seem to keep their place looking nice. I would totally recommend this spot to others.

My dad loves coming here because the portions they give are GINORMOUS but that’s pretty much the only positive feedback I have about this place. They serve your standard Chinese fast food. For the 2-item combo it’s about $ 7-$ 8 but you really do get the most bang for your buck because they do pack it in and you can definitely share a meal with a friend or two. Other than that, I wouldn’t go here unless I was really craving something specific.

Food quality has gone down over the years(no flavor, chow mien tastes like rubber) along with poor customer service skills or lack there of assures we will not return here! On my last visit here I ordered 2 item combo with Orange chicken & Teriyaki chicken, the meal was so bad I did not even finish! DON’T WASTEYOURAPPETITEOR $$$!

Delicious cream cheese wontons. They also charged me a lot less than they were supposed to for them. Even better! Good food. Good portions. I made two or three meals out of my food. Their chow mein is good but not great. The mushroom chicken was good and had a nice balance or mushrooms and pieces of chicken. I got a fortune cookie saying I was going to travel for both business and pleasure, and I went to Vegas that weekend. haha. Ironic but true.
