It may seem like an ordinary sandwich place but it is not. I have had a variety of sandwiches from here and it is really just too hard to choose. From the Chicken Teriyaki to just an Original Philly cheese steak its just perfect. Good menu for kids. For the price it really turns out to be a bargain. You cant find a good quality sandwich like that everywhere. Ive come to this Charley’s and the one in Orange next to CHOC for the past 5 years, and both are outstanding.

Very unprofessinal cashier. Looks like she was either tired of this job or don’t care.

Well, you just made my «Never. Again.» list, Charley’s. After spending the last 12+ hours with salmonella poisoning, I regret having ordered the chicken philly. There are things no man should expel, see, or smell from the deepest parts of his bowel — yet I went beyond those limits, from both ends of my digestive tract, until my body ached from all the dry heaving. Whoever was working the grill at lunch time on January 13th, 2016(around 12:30pm) should be FIRED! Eat here at your own risk.

The employees are so rude… And one of the most dirtiest Charley’s I ever saw… They need to clean the place up…

My first impression from the outside wasn’t much. However, stepping inside the place I really liked the way they have it set up. The décor and positioning of everything is very modern. I came on Tuesday at 1pm for my office lunch. They were not busy. They give off a trendy fast food vibe. Big signs on the wall of the food they offer with your typical red, yellow, orange colors to draw people in. Typical marketing tactic. The walls are interesting and appealing. They do have a bar type table where if your eating alone you can sit and watch one of the 2 tabs they have. Which I find great, because sometimes you just want to get away, have some food, relax and watch some sports. They have both male and female restrooms, both single use, but they were clean which is a plus. The price is feasible. A combo will run you about $ 10. The bread is good and that’s what’s key to a good Philly cheese steak. The steak was juicy and delicious. All the ingredients seem to be fresh and delicious. Great place go and try it.

Well Charley’s is one place I’m never going back to. The cashier seemed uninspired and looked like he’d rather be other places, but otherwise got my order correct(from what I can tell by looking at the receipt). Then when I took the food to go, I realized my order was messed up and I was missing a sandwich. I guess I’d be less upset if I wasn’t the only person in the store. I’m also upset with myself that I didn’t check the bag before I left, but this is something I shouldn’t have to do. At least the sandwich my girlfriend and I had to split tasted pretty good.

Went there today got large Cheese Stake Sub(I thought it was expensive but said what the heck !) I rec’d my lg. Sub. Sandwich, The steak was like pressed beef could have passed for cardboard. and had no taste except for the cheese very disappointed, If you try one get the small so you won’t waste too much money. If you want a really good philly cheese steak go to Cortina’s and get the cheese steak with aju ! Theirs is as good as Charley’s are bad!!!

Awesome! My husband and I are originally from the east coast and both of us agree that these are some of the best. I would put them against some east coast establishments. The gourmet fries are just that! Would have given five stars except for the roaches on wall and floor by my table.

Place is pretty quiet, no lunch rush. 1st time here ordered the regular original Phillips combo regular fries. Nice and fresh. Taste is on point. Not the best philly I’ve ever had but pretty close. Definitely would return again.

I really do love this place! Their grilled subs are delicious(both the Philly’s and the chicken subs)! Chicken California is my favorite sandwich and I’ve had it on the regular white bread and the wheat wrap, both fantastic! The ingredients in the sandwich are all fresh and I love that the meat is thinly sliced. Only thing I would change is frying the fries a little longer. A couple times the fries seemed too soft/soggy. They have a stamp card so, every 7 sandwiches you buy, the 8th one is free. The customer service is great, too.

Good place for a quick lunch. I had the Chicken cheese steak and fries special for $ 4.99 and it was good. They’re proud to offer freshly cooked food, not microwaved meat like other sandwich places. Staff is friendly and attentive.

I have been looking for a long time for a place to replace my Quiznos love so I saw this place and thought it might be a good shot! I walk in and am not quite sure how the ordering process works. Do I walk them through making my sandwich? Do I order at the register and wait? Turns out you go to the register and order, so I did. «A Small Chicken Teriyaki,» I say.. . Looooooooooong pause as I wait for the cashier to confirm. «Lettuce and tomato?,» she asks, after a long stare at the screen. I say«sure» and pay for my order. Then I wait. And Wait. About five minutes later, someone behind the grill yells out to me, «Do you want onions?» Okay, go for it! I finally get my sandwich and open it up and it looks great! The meat, cheese and onion are super hot and tasty, The bread, on the other hand, was a little soggy. I think I expected the bread to be a little grilled too but it wasn’t. That was the one thing I would change about the food. The service felt a little disjointed like the the staff needs a little fine-tuning on the on training, but overall, still a good experience. I will come back and try another sandwich soon! This place charmed me.

Im still going here, and they dont cease to amaze me. Always flavorful subs, at first the price increase through me off, but switching to a small keeps me full and saved me $$, I also still love their receipt survey deal, which im bringing up since I noticed a couple complaints on price range. If you never tried Charleys, I highly recommend it.
