We just went back yesterday and had such a good time! This time, Anna and Elsa were very sweet and friendly. Well, mostly Anna. She was goofy, chatty, friendly, and SO true to character, ever so slightly awkward(well, more bubbly than awkward, really). The wait took less than 30mins at 6:30pm on a relatively busy Monday afternoon(blue on the crowd calendar, 76% on Mousewait), and they were so sweet to my shy two year old who frequently talks about wanting to meet certain Disney characters(and randomly tells me she wants to hug them even when we aren’t in Disneyland), but often clams up when it’s finally our turn to interact with them in person or get a photo. There were a few adult guests ahead of me who were visiting from Japan and decked out in Frozen apparel and some had the cutest little themed plush Anna dolls and accessories, and Princess Anna was just so sweet she pointed them out and complimented the guests. You could tell it made their day. My daughter was shrieking and giggling excitedly when we left, and even asked to go back tomorrow. :-) This is the kind of magic we expect to experience at Disneyland, and I am SO grateful that, thanks to the actors and and how well they represented the characters, we could all feel the magic yesterday.

The Elsa and Anna meet and greet is so stupid… you have to have a fast pass for it which means you have to wait an hour to get in line, plus you can’t get another fast pass for an hour. Once you get in line you are waiting over an hour… WHATISTHEPOINTOF A FASTPASS??? Stupidest thing.

You must get fast passes to meet them, which I guess keeps the lines from getting ridiculously long throughout the day. I’m not sure… when we went during our FP time, we were about the fourth person in line. The line had gotten significantly longer after us, so maybe try and go closer to the beginning time of your FP time? I’m not sure… I think we were just lucky and got there at a good time. My daughters are a little older, so they understood that Disney was going to consist of a lot of waiting. We probably waited a total of 20 minutes from getting in line to when we met Princess Anna and Queen Elsa. The cast member in line was really nice when we were waiting to go into the room to meet them. We were talking about different things about the visit. Once we got into the room with them, I actually felt like we were in a room in Arrendale in their castle! It’s amazing what Disney pulls off. Anna and Elsa were great. Anna was overly enthusiastic about everything, just like she is in the movie. Elsa was calm and cool, just like she is in the movie as well. They signed my daughter’s autograph books and took pictures. Another point for Disney and the Frozen brand.

Meet Anna and Elsa in person! You have to stand in line with a Fast-Pass. The wait was about 20−30min…not bad. It’s all inside where the Animation Academy is so it’s cool and relaxing. When you meet the characters in person they sign your autograph books and take photos. Enjoy!
