Place is kinda dirty. Yes, staff is kinda bitchy and they don’t pay close attention. There’s tweaker lookin homies on bikes riding around and the ocasional homeless guy yelling at the sky but that’s totally the scene at Orange and Knott anyways. The real treat though is the breakfast burritos. Always fat and flavorful. I don’t know what they do in there and I’m always a little worried inside that I’m gonna get sick but the flavor on these things is always on point and keeps me coming back. If you want a solid breakfast burrito and don’t mind dealing with the shady surroundings this is a great spot at a great price.

I’m actually really surprised about the low reviews. During a weekday I got a breakfast burrito with a side drink and their special came out to less than $ 5. It was so cheap. The burrito was nothing to boast about, but decent! The kid working the counter was friendly. Although I thought it was funny that he asked me if I had quarters instead of rounding it up with another dollar(they must’ve been running out of change?). I went to the car and got quarters for them; they were in luck! I also do like how next to the seating area inside you can choose from a few sauces and put as much as you’d like in the containers. I will say though, it doesn’t look very sanitary with it just sitting in the open there. Nonetheless, If I’m in the area again and want a quick burrito fix, I know that this place will be on my mind.

We order large orders every time we come here. So to make things easy we write it all done they way everyone wants it. No joke! EVERY time we come here they mess it up! The girls speaks very well English! The cook is very rude and gets pissed off at the girls and cussing bc he has to make it again! We have watched him make the girl cry! Literally just left there order 2 items specifically one way and nachos the other … Literally 3x to get it right and they were yelling at us bc they can read correctly! One other cook is good he’s the brother! This one sucks!!! Close it !

Called in my order, after 15 minutes the order was forgotten about, the cashier was extremely rude, saying they were really busy, yet not a person in site. She went to the cook speaking in spanish«pinche this» «pinche that». Gave me my food, no thank you, no sorry, just shut the window in my face. Very rude & unprofessional!

I usually go to Unilocal, before trying a new place. But I have been here several times in the past, and I would have given them two thumbs up then… Now the food was burnt, dried, and nasty. My whole order sucked, very disappointed… Never going there again… I love albertos just going to another one. Sad and hungry…

Second best Mexican food around. Only one place better is Pepe’s.

@Adrian R. Why even eat Mexican food if you’re going to order chicken nachos without guacamole, sour cream, and Pico de gallo? I haven’t been to this Alberto’s for anything other than the very affordable and filling breakfast burritos. $ 2.99 is probably the best price around for a Carne Asada or carnitas breakfast burrito. They have a lot more options, though. Each morning I’ve gone, there’s a little 11 year old taking my order wth, lol, child labor, much? :p I’m a los Alazanes fan boy and I live slightly closer to it down the street, so my allegiance lies with them, but the prices are more affordable at this Alberto’s, so I might try out their other menu items. Probably tonight.

I don’t know why the ratings are so low for this place. Besides customer service being a little bit slow sometimes, everything seems fine. I’ve been to this and the cypress(valley view & lincoln) location and this location is actually faster than the other one in my opinion. The food is really good and well made. It’s really popular for students from my school to go to this place for breakfast because they recently have been holding a $ 2.99 deal for a breakfast burrito of any meat. I recommend the bacon/chorizo/chicken breakfast burritos. Inside there’s some beat up tables and chairs but they still work fine and there are also extra sauces on the side. Not the best, but to me it’s definitely not bad.

This place has the WORSE«mexican» food, everything taste the same, it all has the same bland/blah flavor, even the carrots with onions and vinegar juice are dry and nasty. I called to let them know that I was unhappy with their food and a girl/boy Alex picked up and was dumb, deaf or stupid but didn’t know what bland meant, after I explained what it was Alex doesn’t seem to care at all telling me to «call bank tomorrow and talk to management» and at the end Alex ended up being rude and not caring

The«owner» if this location provide the worst customer servicing I’ve ever had at an Alberto’s! Here’s the low down: I’ve eaten at every other Alberto’s in the area. I always order the chicken nachos without guacamole and sour cream with extra chicken as I always do. When my order was called I noticed their was pico de gallo in my food. Once again, I’ve eaten at other locations around the area and THEYDONOTPUTPICODEGALLO in the chicken nachos. I told the girl who ordered my food that the chick nachos don’t come with that in it. She said she would tell the«owner» of this location. She comes back moments later and says«He put a lot of chicken in it» which is true, he did. Regardless I didn’t want pico de gallo in my food. The owner refused to make my food again the way I wanted it. Instead of making his customer happy he rather throw away the food and not make another one. So I asked for a refund back which I got. Never again will I walk into this place nor do I recommend anyone else going there.

First just want to say that there hours of operation is when ever they fell like opening to whenever they want to close. Gone here 30 mins before opening time says on Unilocal and on there door, they been no where to be around. Next on another day Monday 9÷2÷24 this week they say they close at midnight that’s so a lie I was there at 1100 and it was already closing. The lady there said well we decided to close all ready. I was like ur hours say midnight and she’s like well sorry we still closed now after just see her close for dine in but front window was open. Rude workers need to learn about customer service.

Bomb super burritos and especially the carne asada fries but the new management is getting a little ridiculous. But it’s still really good food especially late at night when the cravings kick in lol!

This restaurant is okay. The cashier isn’t very friendly. The price is a bit high. The food takes long to get. BUT the food is very good. I ordered myself a California burrito and it was made to perfection and wrapped neatly.

Do NOT come here, after being overcharged by about $ 10, the cashier seemed rather sheepish when I brought up discrepancy, gave some flimsy excuse about not knowing I didn’t want guacamole… I let that go… paid by credit card and coincidentally our credit charge had a fraudulent charge from a 7Eleven in New Jersey. Seriously!!! Not sure if it was from them, but seems quite suspicious. And if that isn’t enough, my order was missing 2 tacos. Sheesh!!!

There are new managers or owners or something because all of a sudden this Alberto’s is quite chintzy on portions. Every other Alberto’s that I’ve gone to makes a giant filled burrito and not a mostly giant tortilla with a little bit of goodies inside. Also, they changed the shrimp burrito. It used to be like a fajita burrito and now it’s got cabbage in it. Weird.

Given that this place is now under new management, the hubs and I decided to give it another go. First of all, for the price you pay you get very little food. Hubs got a California burrito, and it was the smallest burrito I’ve ever seen! I mean, you could get bigger burritos at the 7 – 11 across the street. Size-wise, it was on par with a burrito you’d get at Taco Bell. No joke. The tortilla was old and dry, which is just not cool. I got Super Fries, and they were disappointing. I’ve grown accustomed to getting a box filled to the brim with fries and deliciousness. Not here. You get a half-full box of under-cooked fries, tough carne asada(which is mostly gristle, anyway), unmelted cheese, and a scant amount of pico de gallo that has been cooked. COOKED. Pico isn’t supposed to be cooked! To top it all off, the new management seems to be as laid back on hair nets as the old régime. Once again, I found a hair in my food. A hair that was not mine.

Late night debauchery, usually means late night snacking– and this night was not any different. I was craving for a greasy, wet carne asada burrito like no other. The whole night all I had on my mind was food, so I used my handy dandy Unilocal app to find us some grub at 1am. First of all, this place has an outside sitting area and an inside sitting area. Since it was late and cold, we opted to eat inside. Inside there were the usual, a couple of tables and chairs and some beat up old video games machines that definitely looked like they had seen better days. The place was empty, but it was so late at night I didnt think much of it. We ordered our food and we sat down and waited. We sat there for about ten minutes as we noticed a few people coming in just to play this one video game machine in the back. It was really weird because there was practically a line to play this machine– at 1am– in an Albertos– in Stanton. My friends and I were joking about how Pac-Man is slowly making an epic comeback and just continued to eat our burritos that were filled with fat and calories that we would regret in a few hours. After we stuffed ourselves with Super Fries aka carne asada fries and wet burritos, we sat there for at least an hour talking while one of the guys who was playing on the broke ass looking video game went to the register to claim his«prize» and the person at the register cashed him out. UHHHHH, wait a minute. On our way out I glanced over and saw that this old looking MegaMan machine was really– and lets just say you dont have to drive all the way to an indian casino to get your fix. Oh yeah, the food was good too– its just your typical Alberto’s guys with some under the table fun times attached. Need I say more?

Don’t understand the bad reviews. Super fries late at night were freakin amazing. Breakfast burritos were all freshly made in the morning and were super tasty. AND this place is 24 hours. If I lived around here, I’d def be here when I got the munchies.

The best thing about this place is their breakfast burritos. Eggs, bacon, papas smothered with cheese in a large grilled tortilla. So Good! And you know what? You can get them all day long! Of course if your not into breakfast you can eat other things like Carne Asada, nachos, tacos and wash it down with a bottle of mexican coke!

Great and Fast Mexican food when you need it. Its in a convenient corner of Knott and Orange. The staff seem very friendly pleasant. I kept searching for this place to check in but it wasn’t listed on Unilocal so I went ahead added this business on Unilocal. Their kitchen and restaurant seems very clean Great place :]
