Olde Towne Tavern

I have been coming here 1 – 2 times a week for a about 3 – 4 months now. The guy who runs the place, jesse is not the owner but might as well be because the owner is virtually non existant. Jesse is the manager as well as the cook. He is a very good one. Ott does a 4.99 all you can eat wings on tuesdays prepared by jesse and is always solid. On friday from 3 – 7 there is a free buffet of assorted bar foods by jesse which is also real good. Real ol classic americana. They often have promotions with free beer. Extra legit. However, it pisses me off they charge 1 $ for CC charges under 10 $. get fucked everytime you want a beer and dont have cash. Also one time they were charging 3 $ for chips and salsa but i heard jesse say «yeah i had to run up to cvs before to get salsa» like are you fucking kidding me? That to me is a slap in the face. Another slap is the jukebox which is 1 $ per song an absolute ripoff. They have live music tues nights but other than that ur fucked to listen to shit music till u pay up i love this place but it needs to improve in many aspects
All aside the bartenders emma katie molly and the rest are all amazing
. had two separate friends approached Jessie and told «we aren’t tipping enough» very seriously. are you kidding? which was a huge F U felt by us from the manager. what a douche.1 its up to the customer to tip 2. we’ve tipped PLENTLY… would have never come back after that if it weren’t accross the street from our house. dick comment. he also likes to get drunk there sometimes and hit on all the girls sinse he seems to be lacking in that department. if your lucky hell give you a free beer and say «gota keep em coming back somehow» and that is def true because that place needs some damned improvement.

Take it for what it is. Just another bar in Amherst. Almost impossible to move on the weekends. Could even be a fire hazard?
