We had the following items: fried pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes, ribeye steak, pork stuffed with cream cheese and cranberries, key lime pie and the brûlée. Excellent food and wonderful service provided by Destiny! Beautiful dining area. Will definitely repeat!!!

Lonely Breakfast We went to breakfast at about 9:00am and the place was empty. We hadn’t seen many other choices within walking distance so we went in. It felt a bit odd being the only ones in this rather cavernous dining room. My wife got a basic egg dish which was fine. I’m a sucker for French toast. Usually syrup is served on the side. In this case the French toast was swimming in the stuff and by the time I got it the French toast was a soggy mess. Even though we were the only ones in the breakfast, the waiter disappeared and I finally spotted him out on the open deck smoking a cigarette. When he eventually came back in(and not via the bathroom to wash his hands), I asked to change it out for the breakfast BLT sandwich. The sandwich, while unfortunately soggy on the bottom, was quite tasty. The accompanying grits were really great. Maybe, instead of opening the grand dining room every day for breakfast, they should only open it on weekends. Then they could use the more intimate«Floyd’s» for a cozier breakfast.

My husband and I were so impressed with the service and the food! We had high expectations and were definitely not let down. I didn’t get our waiters name but he was on point! Very professional and always came back to check on us even though he was the only waiter. I ordered a glass of Pinot and the stuffed pork steak, which I quickly devoured. It was so delicious. My husband had the shrimp grits and said it was the best he has ever had — and he has traveled the world! We will definitely be back.

I’ve been all around the world and by far the folks at the Windsor is the only hotel that made me feel like I was at home. Destiny was my server two nights at the fantastic Rosemary and Thyme. She really went above and beyond, providing us with such excellent service. In fact, when my associate mentioned how much he loves their crème brûlée she fired up that contrasting layer of hard caramel right at our table! Tomorrow night they will be preparing a special chocolate version for us for the first time in the history at Rosemary and Thyme. Kudos to the chef for the fantastic risotto that was served with my duck! Then there were the bartenders at Floyd’s Pub. Katie was so personable. Not only did Connor provide us with some fantastic drinks, you can tell he really cared about our customer experience. You don’t see that everyday, thank you for everything Connor! My room was tended to everyday like clockwork. Spic and span each time. Thanks crew! Without a doubt, I will be returning to the Windsor. If you haven’t been there yet, you should. Great job Vic, keep it up!
