William W Fay, DDS

William Fay is a well polished dentist. He does an amazing job for his customers. He delivered over the top customer service and has a nice butt. Its a must to see him

I was referred to Dr. Fay from my general dentist. I saw him at his American Canyon office the staff was pleasant and friendly. Dr. Fay is a humorous provider who is concerned about the successful outcome of the work he performs. I had braces as a youth but are needing them again after losing my retainer. Dr. Fay however, explained to me that if a minor surgery on my gums is not performed my teeth will shift again. With this insight I feel he is sensitive and has a caring spirit despite the unconcerned persona prior reviews posted. I will be moving forward with treatment with Dr. Fay.

So. I’m just going to +/​-​copy and paste my Review from this business’ **other** Unilocal account for the South San Francisco location. I am genuinely concerned for whomever is considering coming here. For your convenience:

Had a cute smile but my teeth were not perfectly straight.
Just wanted that Hollywood smile!
Went to Dr. Fay.
Now:
Upper and lower jaw teeth don’t touch. What the —-?! (!!!)
I’ve drafted quite a few reviews spilling the details of this nightmare… but I have found it difficult to do so without profanity or coming off vulgar. And so with a bit of grace and simplicity, I am going to keep this short and sweet.
HOWEVER–
I feel SO strongly about some of the things, practices, and ethics that have gone on here that I WILL PERSONALLY be more than happy to give you my uncensored account if you message me.

If you’re thinking about coming here, please message me. Or simply, **please don’t** do it. I ache thinking about what has come of my mouth. I am truly, genuinely, saddened. To add insult to injury, he has said to me that my situation is «not a big deal», and that was on top of calling me a «nervous wreck». I am not one with many regrets as I believe things tend to happen for a reason– but this, it tops the list as nearest to deep remorse.

I have never been less impressed with a provider. In September of 2009, I took my son to his first appt with Dr. Fay. We waited for an HOUR while his front office staff (one person at the time) kept telling us that he was with another patient… then a different front office person came up and told me the doctor was actually out to lunch (my appt was in the afternoon, well after lunch time) and then about 20 minutes later, the doctor comes in the front door laughing with his chums and doesn’t even bother to greet anyone, just went to the back and stayed there. I finally had to get up and tell the front office staff that if my kid wasn’t seen right then, I was leaving. About 5 minutes later, my kid got about 30 seconds with the doctor before he told me his teeth needed to develop more and to come back in a year.
Fast forward to September 2010. I got a postcard from Dr. Fay’s office saying my son was due for his check up. I called the 707 number on the card THAT day and was told I had an incorrect number and that I had to call a San Francisco number. When I explained to the person that I wanted to be seen at Dr. Fay’s American Canyon office (he has another office in San Francisco somewhere), the person assured me it was fine, they could schedule American Canyon appts. When I told him I just received the card that day and that they put a wrong number on it, he told me he gave me the right number. I called the San Francisco number, I again said that I wanted an appointment in American Canyon and was scheduled for the following Wednesday. I pulled my son out of school early for his appt. When I signed in, the person there waited a few minutes and then told me that Dr. Fay wasn’t in on Wednesdays… ever, then she had the nerve to ask if I wanted to reschedule. I told her I would never again bother to call their office again. There is no way I would let a business that can’t get ANYTHING together work on my kid’s teeth!
