Street Volkswagen of Amarillo

I’d been passively shopping for a ’12 or ’13 Passat TDI SLE for about six months before I found one at Street VW that was anywhere near book value. Everyone else seemed to want 2k or more over book. I’m not one to haggle with a salesman; if I like the price I’ll go check it out and pay what is being asked. I’m not going somewhere that advertises a $ 17k car for $ 20k just so I can «talk them down» and feel good about the «deal» I just got. I give Street an A+ for their pricing.
After searching for a car for so long it couldn’t have come at a better time. I sold my old reliable Hyundai because putting a toddler in the back seat was miserable with just two doors… and the radiator on my old grocery getter cracked the day before (after I just replaced the heater core) and I was frustrated and tired of dealing with older cars.
This car popped up on my autotrader app with 20k less miles than I was shopping for and I knew I had to have it. So I went in and asked Elexi at the front desk to point me in the direction of the soul sales office. Out she came with Alicia who told me what I needed to know about the car and got me into it quick. It worked out great and I didn’t have to sign my soul away either. As if I could sell it twice… Thank you ladies for making the experience a good one.
The next day I wanted to make sure the 30k mile oil change had been done so I went back and asked the service department. Colby looked it up and verified that it had been done recently, and proceeded to tell me all about the different services my car needed and at what intervals. Information that is very much appreciated since I don’t want to unknowingly void my extended warranty.
So far I’ve had this car about two weeks and put 300 miles on it. No problems whatsoever. Fuel mileage is phenomenal. Kiddo gets in the back without struggling. I even like the tinted windshield (highly illegal, but I didn’t have it done so I’ll claim ignorance the day I get pulled over).
I’ll definitely be back to purchase a car for my wife soon as this one is paid off.

Recently took my 2014 Passat in for service. Everyone I encountered at Street were very friendly and professional. I was even approached by a salesman who was friendly and answered my questions about future models even though I told him I was only there for service. I would highly recommend Street Vollswagen for service or sales.
