Worst buffet I have ever been to. The food was so disgusting that I couldn’t even eat it, and I’m not a picky eater at all. Seriously I’ve eaten food off the ground before that tastes better than this. I’d rather eat cat food. Crows wouldn’t even eat this crap, they should sell their«food» as a bird repellent. I will never ever come here again. Please for the love of God, do not eat here.

The outside looks new, the inside looks nice, the service is awesome, but the food needs improvement. I tried a spoonful of everything the buffet had to offer and actually spit stuff out into a napkin a couple of times for fear that the horrible taste foreshadowed the damage it would do to my gastrointestinal tract. Do NOT eat the seafood. The salmon tasted like powder. How do you even do that? It was almost impressive in a weird way. The chicken and beef dishes were pretty okay. A couple of the desserts tasted stale and all of the fruits, except for the melons, were obviously from a can. To sum it up, I would never willingly come here ever again.

This place is beyond terrible! DONOTGO!!! I wasn’t expecting a 5 star restaurant from a buffet, but I wasn’t expecting it to be as bad as it was. We barely sat down to eat, and my husband took a big bite of fried rice. Instead, he got a big piece of plastic. When the manager came over to take his plate, he said it wasn’t the first time it’s happened. And he thought it was from when the cooks cut open the packaged meat. Oh, yes that’s comforting! Plastic from raw meat in our rice!!! To make it worse, he would only refund half of our bill(because you pay before you eat like most buffets) when he obviously knew they had this major problem. We left upset and hungry, but too sick to our stomachs from such a horrible experience to eat the rest of the night!

Hot food is hot, cold food is cold… not crowded and all you can eat. Who could ask for anything else? Service? Service is always excellent! Thanks

One of those hit or miss places, sometimes the food is pretty good and other times it’s quite salty and on the cold side. They have a sushi area, but there’s basically only two options haha. There’s a hibachi grill in the back but the line for it is always super long so that’s a shame, you’ll be waiting for at least 20 minutes! The ice cream selection is terrible, and very dirty so not that great for the youngsters who want it as a dessert.

$ 11.00 for carry out buffet. Seems pricey for what container they give you. Stuff looked okay but I didn’t stay. That price is stupid for the less than 1 cups of food I can eat.

When you are rating buffets, you have to use a different scale than haute cuisine. This buffet is consistent, offers a wide selection of food, has sushi and Mongolian BBQ, and is good value for the money. Isn’t that what you want in a buffet? Additionally, if you get a buffet«to go», they charge a per container rate instead of the usual per pound rate at other buffets.

It was ok. Did the hibachi bar, bit greasy, could be cleaner. Did not like how the ice cream is self-serve. Did not seem clean. Rest of buffet was clean, some hot food should be hotter(food temp). Good food selection overall.

The place looks very new. The décor is nice with high cellings. However, the food which is what really matters is not good at all. Some of them are cold and dry. Most of them are greasy. I will definitly not go back.

Yum! Huge selection and it even tasted fantastic. Price was $ 11 for adults and $ 6 for kids. Had shrimp, fake crab, crawfish, sushi, along with all the typical dishes. All in all it was great mostly after being in the car with a 6 year old boy for the past 7 hours.

This is probably the most extensive sushi and Grill buffet that my husband and I have ever been to. We are on the road a lot. We like the variety and it’s a welcome change. This restaurant is located on what is the frontage road of I 40 in Amarillo Texas and there are a lot of other restaurants on the strip. Logan’s, famous Dave’s, steak houses to name a few. Everything was fresh and fullly stocked. It was Saturday night at 7 o’clock and it was a very popular place. It’s moderate in its pricing and an exceptional choice.

For Amarillo, I think this place is relatively decent, or in Unilocal’s words«A-OK.» Strictly speaking about the atmosphere, it was well decorated, spacious, and the buffet line was kept clean and fully stocked. Being clean is already a huge plus. Our server was attentive and we were never left with our cups half empty. I’d recommend perusing the steam-line before you dive into eating. There’s a hibachi grill in the back and that was probably the best part of the whole buffet. Everything was greasy but that’s expected when you go to a buffet. I really enjoyed the hibachi grill at the back and ordered about 3 or 4 pieces of steak medium rare. I ordered my first piece as medium and it was too tough, so medium rare was perfect. The steaks are thin but hey, it’s steak. I will agree with other reviewers that the sushi selection was awful. They should just take out the sushi section altogether imo. I’ve never seen raw salmon the color of a carrot before. It was just THAT orange. To me, that’s unnatural and I stayed away from it. The only sushi I ate was the cooked stuff like a California roll which was wrapped with a lot of rice and very little filling… just stick with the hibachi. The cold boiled shrimp and the whole pieces of baked salmon were two of my go-to dishes. It could’ve been because I have been so deprived of good seafood while living in New Mexico that the seafood here was totally satisfying, but in actuality, it tasted pretty good with a spritz of lemon juice. The broccoli beef and mushroom chicken were good as well. For dessert, I’d highly recommend their cream puffs. I only had room for one but wanted to go back for more, luckily for my waistline, I was too full. Overall this place is clean, there’s lots of selection and is overall a decent Asian buffet for Amarillo. For the amount of food you can eat and for the price of $ 10-$ 11 per person for dinner, Lin’s really can’t be beat.

The food was cold and had been on the steam table too long. They have a grill where you can have food made just before you eat it. That is probably good so I am giving them three stars. I wouldn’t even give the buffet part two stars. We saw people piling their plates high. That kind of waste likely keeps the price high and quality low at buffets.

A friendly place, lots of variety, but a little greasy in many dishes, but if you like lots of fried foods you’ll love it.

As far as Chinese buffets go– its alright. The food is hotter than normal, but don’t expect anything spectacular on the taste, its just like normal chinese buffets. The waitstaff is good and the restaurant is fairly clean. The ‘sushi rolls’ are not made at the location, and will stay good for a day or three. It’s a place to eat, no more, no less.

This place has many artificial tasting Asian dishes to choose from. The staff is rude and unwelcoming, I’ve watched them drop serving utensils on the floor and pick them up and put them right back in the dish! Save your money, there are plenty of other decent authentic Asian restaurants in Amarillo, MyThai, Thai Arawan, Youngs Sushi, etc.

Just your average chinese buffet. Some star dishes they had: the jalapeño shrimp, brisket, and shrimp & vegetables are worth going for. They also have tubs of blue bell ice cream that you scoop yourself with 8 different flavors– a nice change of pace from the typical watered-down vanilla-chocolate-twist soft serve that are found at most buffets. Didn’t get a chance to check out the mongolian grill but the ingredients looked fresh. Lunch Buffet for adults: $ 7.50 Dinner Buffet for adults: $ 9.99

I like this place. And I really don’t like oriental food. They have a grill in the back. You choose what you want and how much you want to have grilled. They have shrimp, chicken, been, and pork. They have other items typical to an oriental plate that you can add too. I usually get a combination of the meat with mushrooms and onions. I have them grill it with garlic and butter. Always awesome! You can tip the grill cook who cooks it right in front of you. This is a great place. My wife lives oriental food and I am often left only eating bread and dessert(or nothing…) when we go eat oriental food.

New to Amarillo and this is the first place I went to. I liked that there was the option of Mongolian BBQ, sushi and three or four rows of a variety of things. I’ve never had to wait long to get in and the food is always fresh and good — including the sushi(which yes, surprised me). I think it’s an excellent investment for lunch.

Lin’s Grand Buffet is a Chinese Buffet that has several locations in different Texas cities such as San Angelo, Lubbock, Brownsville, Laredo, McAllen, and of course here in Amarillo. It’s not a great example of what Chinese food should taste like, but it’s not supposed to. Look, it is what it is. A Chinese buffet that has at least 50 different dishes, a hibachi grill, and a sushi bar. Although the sushi is inedible and should be avoided like the plague, the hibachi bar isn’t all that bad. It is, however, very slow. There’s usually a line and if you’re about 8 people back, expect to wait about 20 minutes for your turn to get your stuff cooked. The rest of the cuisine is pretty standard as far as buffets go. It’s not authentic, and I think I like it that way. Sesame chicken, crab rangoons, pepper steak — Sometimes even us Chinese people feel like eating«fake» Chinese food that’s been prepared by an entire cook staff of Mexicans. I also like that there’s nachos, enchiladas, pizza, and french fries. Nothing says«chinese» like french fries with your fried rice! You get all this for about $ 7/person for lunch and $ 10/person for dinner. There’s a lot of seating, so this is ideal for large groups. You don’t have to worry about the server getting your orders right or charging you correctly because it’s all self serve. Pros: lots to choose from, very affordable Cons: food is not authentic or fresh, hibachi takes all night, sushi is awful
