When I go to thrift stores its usually to buy «stuff». Dishes, lamps, art, books, stuff. I can’t comment on the clothes but the DAV Thrift Store has great stuff! I find Pyrex, mid-​century looking lamps, tacky 1970’s needlepoint art, and once a vintage snoopy telephone. Great little thrift store to find cool, cheap stuff.
