Very educated staff.
Very good extra virgin olive oil, you get to taste all the flavors and balsamic vinegar.
Will def be going back for more.

If you like great food this the place to get supplies. Their regular basalmic vinager is awesome and aged beyond the minimum number of years to meet the classification. Don’t waste your time buying it from a supermarket. They have flavored balsamic vinegar that can be used a lot of ways you’d never expect e.g. Walnut flavor over ice cream. Additionally, they have olive oils. Prices are surprisingly reasonable. You can sample anything before you buy it. Really cool place!

This is a great little addition the Alton River Front. I went in just to see what the new store was about and was impressed. The owners were knowledgable, and they were very helpful. I had no idea that you could have that many different oil choices. Not only did they let you sample them, they gave examples of what you would be able to do with them. Another plus, if you return their bottles you get 10% off your next bottle. They also do a frequent buyer card. I am sure I will take advantage of that too!

Wow. This place was a real eye-​opener. I’ve been to olive oil stores and in a lot of ways, this place is very similar, with opportunities to taste the different oils and balsamics. They’ve also got some handmade pastas and other local specialties.
What I thought was different, and maybe it’s just something I hadn’t notice elsewhere, are some of the sweet balsamics, like strawberry and chocolate. There are some very intense flavors that would no doubt be great with cream cheese or even on ice cream. Even though we’ve had some pretty adventurous dishes at local restaurants over the last couple of years, this really stands out as something very new and different for me.
The guy working there — probably the owner — was super friendly and obviously loves his work. If you’re ever in the Alton area, do yourself a favor and stop in here for some amazing tastes.
