Server was very nice, but my eggs and hashbrowns were barely warm when they were served. It was an inexpensive breakfast, but you get what you pay for. I would much rather go to Lumes or Eggheadz and pay more for a better breakfast. I make scrambled eggs better than when I received here. I had previously heard that they offer you soup when you leave, but I’m guessing because I was there early in the morning this was not an option. I would not go back here for breakfast.

Great food, pleasant staff. The Irish skillet was great. You could tell it was fresh corned beef, not out of a can. Will remember this spot when I’m in the neighborhood.

Very Good Breakfast with good portion sizes. Also received a free orange juice with my meal. Free small soup when I was leaving was a nice perk also. Plus the different waitresses I had serve me were all friendly and the place is clean…

Always fast and friendly service. Breakfast options are nothing fancy. They have a cinnamon swirl French toast that is ok. They give you soup to go which is a nice touch. I always feel like I am the youngest person there because lots of seniors frequent this place.

From the moment you walk into this place you’re greeted with a big smile. The entire staff is pleasant, and always there to satisfy the customer. Now the food is nothing to brag about but it’s a small diner in an area with not many options. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not cafeteria quality but perhaps 2 notches above. I prefer to keep it simple with the tasty French toast with eggs and cheese. The prices are unbelievable. You almost feel like you’re robbing the place at times. You’ll have a hard time spending $ 20 in this place on 2 people. The complimentary soup is always an added bonus to take with you to go. Not sure why, but I’ve never seen another black patron inside — but I could care less. Elderly, middle class white folks mesh quite well with me.

This place is really good. They have another larger location on 127/Pulaski, too. This one on 117th is tiny & fills up fast in the morning & on a Sunday. I like everything on the menu, haven’t ordered anything I didn’t like. Coffee is endless & yes there is often a complimentary soup offered… Either that or complimentary donuts. The staff is really nice & fast. It’s a friendly local diner worth a try!

I went here last week and I have to say that the food was nothing to write home about, but they make up for it in their service. We were seated right away and the waitress never let my coffee get below a half a cup. I ordered one of their skillets and I it was average and the pancakes were so so as well. After its all said and done they give you a cup of soup to take home. I had the cream of chicken and rice, nothing special but free always tastes better. Would I go back to Georges? Maybe if most of the other breakfast places were closed and I really wanted some free soup. Other than that probably not.
