Pharmacist is nice but the techs suck at there jobs and are the rudest ever I mean straight. Rude being a pharmacy tech is a professional. Career grow up not stuck up

I do not reside in Alpine and I was treated very well by the staff who assisted me with locating cleaning supplies so I could detail the inside of our car. I found all kinds of extra goodies because they were on sale and the store is always very clean when I have been there. The five stars is for a gentleman named Gilbert who waited on me at the register then came back to the cream counter to serve me the delicious«thrifty» ice ceeam cone I remember from way back. Gilbert washed his hands after just handling the cash and then he stuck on his Riteaid ice cream hat while getting my ice cream. Seems like a silly thing to notice, but to me that small gesture showed Gilbert takes pride in his job and wants his guest to really have the Rite Aid experience. When I asked for the manager to compliment him, he explained he was thw manager. Leadership by example, what more can you ask for. :)

Only came in for one thing but the cashier girl was extremely condescending and sarcastic. I used to live in this neighborhood before this store was even here. Please, don’t give me the ‘locals only attitude’. To me, it felt more like, ‘wanna be small town attitude so please give me attention.’ Well, here’s your attention… Advice to anyone that doesn’t live in this area. Locals are mean, nasty, and have a strong territorial attitude. Unless you like putting up with smirks and smugs without even a basis of them other then, my guess, habit, than stay away. News flash: this isn’t the 1800’s with cowboys and Indians and poncho villa. It’s called 2014. But, what do I care? I don’t live here. Just visiting an old friend.

Best liquor store in Alpine. Period. Apparently Rite Aid is some kind of pharmacy? I’ve never purchased drugs here, but their liquor is seriously the cheapest in town. I’m not sure why people would shop at a one-stop liquor store, since you can also score greeting cards, peanuts, half-price frozen pizza, toilet paper and nail polish here. Someone needs to say that the canned«Welcome to Rite Aid!» greeter(whose sole job is to say the aforementioned line) is absurd. No one wants to be «greeted» at a pharmacy. Or liquor store. We want to get in and out and be left alone. Leave us to our vices, will you? I’m not saying this to be a jerk, but there’s no need to pretend we are all buddy-buddy. It’s hackneyed and trite and just plain played out. You’re a convenience store. Be convenient, and unobtrusive, and we’ll all be happy. One star off because where’s the goddamn aloe vera? Not the green one, but the no additive clear stuff, fresh off an aloe plant? It’s not just for«after sun,» peeps; it is good for pretty much any skin complaints you’ve got(burns, cuts, scrapes, acne, etc.), so stock up!

I really like this Rite Aid, they have a very good selection of perfume, makeup, and even some high end items. I usually go around four times a month and every time they have many nice people working that are very helpfull. They can be pricey but, if you get the coupons in your local newspaper or in their ad you can get very good deals. They remodeled a while ago and now it is way more organized and it is just better. Before they remodeled they had sideways aisles and the set up was wierd. I like the new set up way more and if they hadn’t have remodeled it I wouldn’t have wrote good stuff.

Since this stores remodel its actually pretty nice:) But let me tell you what’s the point of having a rite aid store card if they don’t ever ask you for it and try to rush your thru your transaction before you can present it?!? Would it kill them to take a minute to ask for the card or let you get a word in so you can inform them you have a card? Then I could avoid the inevitable sigh like my presenting my card is an issue despite all that has to be done it scan the card!!!

I stop by this pharmacy every Thursday since I drive from la mesa to work in alpine. I have never seen such nasty customer service in my life theres one older lady there who works the cashier all the time she has the worst attitude in the world. She’s so rude I promise myself I wouldnt never purchase anything from their again. As I was checking out I didnt have my saving card from rite aid and my phone number didn’t work so I asked her if I can sign up for another card and she refused to let me get another card and didn’t even allow me to get the sale price that day! Second time theres no one in the cashier so I approach her to ask her if she can ring me up as she was fixing the shelfs well she said«WAIT» and didn’t get anyone to help and continue her job, I just left my iteams and walked away! So now I am goinf to CVS where the lady who is always there even greets me at the door what a difference!

I stopped in Rite Aide to pick up some medication for my scratchy throat and congestion. I picked up their name brand of Multi-Symptom Day Time Non Drowsy Brand.( ) It was on sale, so that a plus. I have to say, about 25 minutes later, I started feeling much better and was able to function within normal parameters. The lady at the cash register was very friendly and expedients, which was good because I could not wait to take some medicine. A plus for this location is that they carry Thrifty Ice Cream!( )

I go in here a lot and come out empty handed. How does that happen? Well, one… they don’t have what I’m looking for and two… the lines are crazy sometimes. For example, when I entered the store someone was waiting in line and there was no cashier. I looked around(couldn’t find what I was looking for, shocker!) and when I was leaving, I noticed the same person was still waiting in line for a cashier. What?! How does that happen? It’s not even the first time I’ve seen that either. Anyway, way better service and selection at so many other places. I need to just learn my lesson and stay far far away from here already.

I occassionally stop in on the way to a friend’s house who lives in the area to grab a few last-minute munchies. it has always been decent for a quick run, until recently. i’ve never been in a pharmacy that didn’t carry any tea! i wasn’t feeling well and was so dismayed that they didn’t have tea that i ran up to the cvs across the street and found they have better selection of everything, including green tea. i will not likely be back here.

EXECELLENT Service in the Pharmacy… PERFECT location… GREAT Ice Cream!!! ;) Their seasonal items are really interesting as well and are pretty reasonable when on sale. I always shop AFTER the holidays to buy things 50−75% off. They are building a «Long’s Drugs» in the Daniel’s Market shopping center… I totally prefer Rite Aid, so I’ll be staying with you!
