Love this store and these guys. Always very helpful and informative. They are always happy to answer even my, sometimes dumb, questions. They are kind and caring and take the time to explain and demonstrate.

IT’S RAININGMEN! I don’t understand women who say there are no men in Atlanta. This store is full of men each time I visit. What’s the deal? When I enter this store, I am always warmly greeted and the men are always helpful. Even if you don’t work with wood this is a cool store to browse because of all the manly tools and supplies. I love the smell of wood so I love it in here. This is a great store for the wood enthusiast as it has absolutely everything one could need when it comes to woodworking plus they offer interesting classes. Today the men were making Adirondack chairs. There are also classes that instruct men on using a lathe which takes wood working to a whole new level. Ladies, this is a great way to introduce your men to the art of wood working if they don’t have a particular hobby or tend to spend way too much time on their computers or other devices. It’s a great opportunity for some male bonding. Every Saturday while he is taking a class you can be out shopping and getting your nails done. It’s a win win and everyone is happy!

Lousy store. No one offers any help ever though I was the only customer in the store. One guy at the front deal staring at a computer and the other just standing there. No acknowledgement I was even in the store.

Wonderful store for all your wood crafting needs. I’ve only relied on them when I wanted to gift a extremely talented wood crafting family member with tools or a gift card, and I have no complaints. This location has very friendly employees and the store is clean, well-kept and has just about anything and everything you need if this hobby is up your alley.

Absolutely love this place with a die hard passion. I could gush about this place but I’ll try to keep my emotions organized. The selection and prices are great but what sets these guys apart from say, Rockler, is the staff. I don’t care what your shopping for, you will never find a more helpful staff that you’ll find at Woodcraft. My most sincere thanks goes out to Robert. He was probably the most helpful of anyone in my first year or so of woodworking. His specialty is finishes and he has probably spent the better part of 6 hours walking me through selection, application and technique over the past few years. He’s even gone so far as calling General Finishes to answer some of my oddball questions that he couldn’t answer, like for example, adding metal flake to their oil based poly. So if you’re a noob just starting out I would whole heartedly recommend Woodcraft, even if its out of the way. The others are good too but as I’ve mentioned in my Rockler review, I feel they tend to steer their attention toward the more old school woodworkers than waste time answering questions about why you would use a water based poly over an oil based one.

Great place for tools, exotic woods, finishes and especially for experienced woodworking staff. The new store is an improvement over the old location(same street, only previously closer to Roswell).
