The park is great! With separate areas for the dogs, and a spigot for water, you cant ask for much else. The people are usually fairly nice too, but sometimes you get those few stinkers. My dog isn’t fixed yet(due to medical reasons) and although he plays friendly and doesn’t attempt humping any of the animals I have gotten quite a bit of flack from a few people. The large dogs side has barley any grass which sucks when it has rained recently. But other than bad apples, and mud(which hey lets be realistic they are dogs), this place is a nice little hangout!

One of the best dog parks around — three sections: one for large dogs, one for small dogs and one for any/all dogs… all natural grounds(grass), mostly shaded and with plenty of benches. Water faucets and a few water bowls are provided(I always bring one for my puppers, tho). There are plenty of tennis balls in each park and fairly well stocked poop-pickup-bag dispensers. Location is really convenient — just behind the Alpharetta Community Center and adjacent to Wills Park. Nearly all the dogs’ people are good about cleaning up. There are a few that are oblivious, but aren’t there always a few??? This is our dog park of choice and we’ve made some great friends here, some with four feet and some with two!

MollyWobbles and I absolutley looooove to come here, It it a beautiful park(wills park) and our usual routine is to park by the community center, then walk to the dog park, she plays for about 45 minutes, and then we walk the rest of the park on the trails, we always get stopped by the play ground so wobbles can get some loving. We lost our Dane right about a month ago, and it was always such a blast to go to the meet ups for the danes and the bassets and see each of them with their own kinds running in packs :) We live on an acre but we dont have it fenced in, So its extra nice to be able to let the dogs off the leash and then its social time for pups and parents alike :) We have been to many of the parks, but its awesome that Wills Park took the time and effort to make such a nice place(and convinently almost walking distance from our house :)

Waggy world is a free dog park located at Wills Park. The dog park is big and has lots of room for dogs to run freely. They have 3 different fenced areas-1 small, 1 large, 1 mixed. They have water faucets so that your furry friend can stay hydrated. They also provide«poop» bags so you can easily pick-up after your dumping joy. The only down side to this place is that you have to walk a good distance from the parking lot to get to the fenced areas. The grounds are kept up very well. One side note is that the main large dog area sometimes floods(just lots of big puddles) after a long rain so I would suggest taking Fito to the wooded dog area after a good rain. Wills Park really did a great job creating a space for the four legged fur balls.

I couldn’t believe how big Waggy World was when I first walked up the path, it kept going on and on for what seemed like acres. There are three sections, one for 25 lbs and under, and two for any size dogs. The day we went one of the any size sections had really active, mostly big dogs… man they were having a good time… the other any size section had a mix of small, medium, and large dogs who were a little older, slower, shyer and just wanted to chill. I was really surprised, for the number of people and dogs there were only a few who, ummmm, needed some training. Like don’t put your coked up, yappy, ankle biting dog in the geriatric section, these dogs just want to sniff things and stroll around. Read the signs, NOSMOKING, NOFOOD! This one jackass was smoking with his arm dangling over the bench behind him, oblivious to the dog behind him who kept trying to paw at his ciggarette. Luckily the pup’s mom saw this and got her baby away from him before he got burned. There was also a guy eating a Snickers, if you’re going to break the no food rule at least do it with something that’s not toxic to dogs(chocolate). There were about 100 people there and only a few fools, so not bad. Lots of trees for the boys to pee on. It’s very clean; bags provided and someone was there emptying the trash and checking on things. The only thing I didn’t like was the long walk from the parking lot to the park. Our 90 lb beast was dragging us up the path and if the leash had slipped out of our hands it’s not too far from Old Milton. I wish they had a drop off lane so I could drop Chris and Sasha off at the entrance and then go park the car :)

Great dog park located in Wills Park off of Old Milton Parkway. Nice areas for dogs to run around(large and small dogs are seperated). Good fencing. Water fountains for people and pets are also available, as well as pickup bag stands. There are benches for people to sit on as well. Some trees for shading also. Gets pretty crowded on weekends, so come early.
