I was very impressed on how fast and good the service was. I did enjoy my sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. Deliciously good. Plus the cheese ragoons where cooked perfectly. I also ordered the house Leo mien it was delicious also. Very impressed and will come again soon.

The last two times that I have eaten at Rice have been very disappointing. They just aren’t consistent and this can be the death of a restaurant. When it comes to dining out, I expect my restaurants to be consistently good or better but certainly not worse. When we walked in today, I immediately sat down and just had my daughter grab the closest menu which was a take out menu. The cashier was at his station but said nothing. We placed our order and continued to sit and chat. Our food arrived prepared for take out although we were eating in. He never bothered to ask if we were eating in, he just assumed that we were ordering take out. When the order arrived,(chicken and veggies), I just did not feel that it reflected the quality to which I have grown accustomed. I am accustomed to a nice mix of quality veggies in a light white sauce,(to include chest nuts, sprouts and pea pods) and a generous serving of chicken. In this mix, there was broccoli, carrots, large onion and corn,(tossed out) in a very oily sauce. I literally had to remove the veggies to drain them before I could actually eat them. The shrimp rangoon were virtually empty pockets of overcooked pastry while the spring roll was very nice. I still have a problem with the fact that since my first visit several months ago, this restaurant has not replaced its ice machine so you can not get an icy drink here. This alone should be a deal breaker in this Georgia heat! Anyway, it is a non-issue for me because I will not be returning. Carry on!

I ate here today and ordered Pad See U. It was not good. I’ve been on the hunt for good authentic Thai food and I was disappointed. The only thing good about my visit today was, my food came out very quickly.

The fried rice and chicken wings are good here, but the Singapore Rice Noodles are better! I ordered them from Rice first, then tried from a national chain and them came back here. Much better than the other place. Singapore Rice Noodles or Singapore Mei Fun, consists of stir-fried rice vermicelli prepared with curry, vegetables, chicken and shrimp. Singapore Mei Fun has become one of my favorite dishes and I plan to order it again.

Had lunch there today — couldn’t be delivered because their driver was not working; couldn’t order crab Rangoon because they were out. Picked up the food and the only item that was good was the Orange Chicken. The other dishes were dry and tasteless. It’s a must miss!

never ever ever order from these people. ever. pretending that any of the food for even a second had any flavor or technique to it, they still fucked up the order well enough to overcharge me whilst forgetting items. wouldn’t have ever ordered again, but what takes the fucking cake? the honey sauce they sent, reaching temperatures of 140 degrees, burnt through the bottom of their cheapskate styrofoam casing, so when my wife picked it up, scalding hot caramel-esque dipping sauce poured all over her hand and gave her what looks like second degree burns. when i called to yell they say«we can bring you another one.» are you even kidding me? i’m immediately contacting the bbb for unsafe practices. don’t order from them. don’t call them, don’t visit their website.

Not great. Not horrible. Slightly awkward. I would consider this to be on par with mall quality panfry food. I ordered the chicken and mushrooms lunch special and it came in that Chinese mucus sauce with fried rice and an egg roll & crab Rangoon. Also — no tap water, so you have to buy a drink out of the refrigerator or go dry. I at my meal and remained slightly disappointed, but not too much considering I only spent $ 7. Any I may have still be hungry, but couldn’t tell as my stomach was still deliberating on what just happened.

Coming from New York I was very skeptical about finding a good Thai place to get some grub. I came across Rice while driving down the street and was like hey let me try this place. Although the look is kind of boring and not quite dim lit like usual Thai places in New York, the food made up for everything that I was skeptical about . I ordered the Mongolian Deluxe with fried rice instead of steamed white rice. Needless to say it was delicious. Great seasoning, tender beef, right amount of shrimp and the rice wasn’t over or under cooked. It was delicious ! I wouldn’t recommend dining in because once again I’m use to dim lit Thai places, but take out is a go !

Luckily I’m very hungry and other places in this area are super busy from the corporate lunch hour because I’d walk right outta here! I approached the counter and the Man at the register barely returned my hello! Uhhh he should’ve greeted me! A large group of black ppl came in after me and the man was clearly disgruntled at something and continued to look behind me(as I ordered) at the group almost seemingly ignoring me! He even took a big sigh and grabbed his head as if in anguish WTF I hope this food doesn’t make me sick cuz after all this I really had a mind to walk out and spend my $$ elsewhere but again hunger made me stay! I ordered lemon pepper wings and veggie fried rice. Needless to say I WILLNEVER come back! I’ve been here twice before and the food is just OK so I don’t need to come here. Didn’t even thank me after I paid just took the receipt and handed me a copy. Also paid with debit card he watched me sign and looked as if he expected me to include a tip??? Well here’s the tip; don’t treat customers like u don’t want to be bothered with them, they are the fuccg reason u are in business! Bye!

I REALLY wanted to like this place especially based off of fellow Unilocalers reviews, but my experience was just in a word… bad. Went there at lunch time with a friend there were only 2 other tables of people there didn’t seem busy. The guy working there just ushered us to sit where we wanted so we took a seat at a booth. He brought us menu’s then never came back. So I’m thinking OK that’s fine I’ll just walk up to the counter and order, not a big deal. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai Noodles which came with soup and a crab Rangoon. My friend ordered the Beef and Vegetable Stir fry with soup and a crag Rangoon as well. I asked for a Sprite and an ice water to drink, and this is where my first«HUH?» came in. The guy tells me that they have NO ice and that he can just give me some water in a cup?!! Really?! So literally I was handed a can of Sprite and a small Styrofoam cup with sink water in it?! I asked for lemon for the water at least and didn’t get that either. Ok so then the food came within 10 minute which that was great, but yikes… As I picked up my fork to start eating my Pad Thai I see that there is nothing but a huge puddle of water underneath the noodles!!! I was SO disappointed because the noodles tasted like nothing because they were still dripping in water!!! I got the occasional kick of the Thai Chili and the compliment of a watery rice noodle. Next the Crab Rangoon… horrible. First of all the bottom was completely wet from the watery noodles that drowned the plate, but then when I tried to bite into it what was inside was NOTHING like a crab Rangoon. It was like REALLY sweet runny cream cheese?! What the heck is that all about?! All I as left with to eat was the egg drop soup which was fine, nothing special and the crunchy won ton strips it came with! My friend said that nothing in her stir fry had ANY flavor. The beef was very tough I tried it too and the vegetables were so bland. She had the same gross sweet cream cheese puff thing I had. After we both had finally decided to give up I walked back up to the counter to pay for our bill. We were the ONLY people in that restaurant the phone wasn’t ringing it was dead. I stood up at the counter for 15 minutes waiting for someone to come out of the kitchen so I could just pay and leave! FINALLY the same guy that took my order came out of the kitchen carrying this big plate of food and tells me «sorry I was making my lunch». Really?! Of course have your lunch I didn’t care about that but could you at least keep your eye on the patrons that are eating here!!! Maybe the wings or other items are the better fare here, but after that bad experience from beginning to end I’m not going back.

Ok, this place was a complete shock! We were looking at a daycare near here and the questions of where to go for lunch came up. I was craving Chinese and this place came up in our search as being only a few blocks away so we went over. Not only was it clean, it was really good! Here’s the breakdown. Service: You order at the front and they bring it out to you. Gentleman at the front was attentive and nice and food came out quickly. No complaints here. Ambience: Place was clean, modern and the seats were comfortable. Can’t ask for more. Food: We went expecting PF Changs at best but we got a lot better! We ordered the Tom Yum Soup, Singapore Noodles and Wings with Fried Rice combo. The food was all fantastic. The soup was nice and mildly spicy, the Singapore Noodles were good with the appropriate/expected seasoning and the chicken fried rice was solid. The real standout however were the wings! We chose the basic salt and pepper wings, I didn’t see it on the menu but when I asked for Salt and Pepper they didn’t blink an eyelash and gave me exactly what I expected. This food is the kind of Chinese junk food I have come to love from places in San Francisco and Seattle. I once had it explained to me as Hong Kong style junk food. However, I hesitate to call it this because they don’t have a lot of the staples I expect from those places. Overall, if you want good fried rice and awesome wings, this is the place. We sure as hell will be back :)

Very pleased with this restaurant. Wife and I have been looking for really good Chinese food in Alpharetta, and finally have found THEBESTOFALPHARETTA. After living in China Town, NY and NJ, our standards are high. Rice exceeds expectations. Every dish looks AND tastes delicious. No jelly clumps of gravy here. Chix w/mixed veggies, sesame chix, shrimp w/lobster sauce, happy family, egg rolls, and crispy noodles! Mm mm good every time! The staff is welcoming and friendly as well! This is our new place.
