Be prepared to wait in line for 15 minutes longer than Wal-Mart while the cashiers carry on long conversations with people they check out and cannot multi-task and let the next person get ringed up. And then they have the guts to say under their breath that we should have left earlier. I’m sorry but if I was a cashier I could ring up the next person AND talk to the person I just helped. Also, my buddy asked for some potato wedges the day before and had a terrible time and I found a hair in my deviled eggs(after I took a turn too quick and it stuck to the top of the tray).

Never ever did I have a problem with publix before usually if I need the chicken cleaned and cut in a specific way I usually tell them how I need and they havr always helped me… at this meat counter in this particular publix refused to do it since he, hadnt done it the way I needed it before… I did offer to show him how I needed as I had done in the other publix but he still refused to help… he wasnt even bothered when I, let go and didn’t buy the 40 $ + worth chicken…

I am really trying to like this store because I live across the street and it is very convenient. First of all, during opening week, I purchased cottage cheese which was spoiled, so for years I could not shop here. When I finally went back, I would not buy dairy or perishables. I would only buy my favorite dehydrated beans. I finally worked my way up to shopping at the deli but this was short lived due to the heavy handed salt bandit. Overall, I just can’t find a reason to shop here. I have no problem finding the foods that I enjoy at much better prices. I will say that they have great customer service and are always appropriately staffed. Deli Manager: The salt bandit is killing your business! Where is quality control? Store Manager: Thank you also for donating a cake to my 100 year old hospice patient,(this was several years ago and never forgotten). He loved it and it was delicious.

I have just had the worst customer service experience at this store. My fiancée told the cashier that she wanted to only put $ 30 of our groceries on her card, and I was going to put the rest on mine. The cashier told her to swipe her card, and the full amount was charged. She told cashier to void the transaction, but neither she nor the supervisor on duty knew how. So they walked my fiancée to customer service, where the supervisor, tried to get the manager’s attention, but he was talking to another employee and appeared to be laughing about the situation. We then just took our groceries and left, with the situation never being resolved. We will not be returning to this store.

I’ll just admit it right now, I am obsessed with Publix and as much as I would love to move back to my hometown in VA, I couldn’t until they get a Publix. The quality of the food is just outstanding, in every department. We frequently get the sandwiches which has turned us off of Subway because they are much, much better. The rotisserie chickens are a great quick meal and their sides are fantastic. One thing that I really like, as a couponer, is Publix’s coupon policy, acceptance of competitor coupons and their penny item. I have never had a bad customer service experience here(although there is one cashier who works on the weekends who can be a bit snarky but I just avoid her line.) Sometimes the people bagging your groceries have a little trouble accepting the answer of No when they ask you if you want your groceries carried out but I’d rather have overly friendly customer service than none at all. Fantastic store.

I love coming to Publix, and not just this particular Publix, but any. The stores are all nice and clean, easy to navigate. The staff is always helpful, assisting people find what they need, and a decent beer selection for a quick stop when I run out of PBR cans. And their deli and sandwichs. So freakin good. I get a sub from Publix at least once a week. They make Subway look like child’s play. #Yelp3655⁄365

I think Publix has just the right balance between product quality, customer service and price. It is a little more expensive than some of the other stores around but it is definitely worth it.

This Publix location isn’t that bad. It is bigger than many Publix stores. They have wide isles that are easy for maneuvering. That’s important to me, since I’m the dad pushing two screaming kids in the monster kiddie shopping cart. Sorry if I’ve even smashed into you. This location is also a bit hoity toity. You’ll find a lot of Windward tennis moms here and their teenage kids. Please give them the right-of-way as they are in a hurry and will run your ass over. What I dislike the most about this Publix is the parking lot. They don’t have a lot of places to return shopping carts. At the end of each row there is a narrow lane for carts built into the flower bed things. If you’re luck enough to get the first spot in the row, then you’re in good shape. Otherwise you’re walking to return a cart. That’s not a lot of fun when you’re dealing with the aforementioned screaming kids.
