McDonald’s

So once again I have to stop coming to the closest McDonald’s to my office and my home.
The morning service is fantastic but God for bid you come here after 5 PM. The service is horrendous. Two days in a row I come here and left the drive-​through because of terrible service.
I only left one star because zero stars and available.

When our family pulled up to the 2^nd drive thru, I asked them to give me a minute. The drive-​thru guy said, «oh my god.» My entire family heard it. When I said that I am ready, he said rudely, «Are you ready now???» Every item I ordered, he rushed me. Then he never thanked me, and just dismissed us. When I pulled up, a lady took my payment and she was nice. I asked if the man behind her with the headphone is the manager since he has a different shirt, and she said yes. I mentioned to her about his rudeness, and she tried to defend him saying that he probably wasn’t talking to me. I said that he was rude to me more than twice. She apologized, but I said that I would fill out the survey. Now I am also posting my experience on Unilocal as well.

This is the only fast food place on earth that refuses to give you your cups to fill your drinks while you wait on your food. Completely idiotic.

Stood there today for 10 minutes while nobody waited on a single indoor costumer. Their only priority is the drive thru.

The exterior and interior of this location was recently renovated. This location two of what appears to be the latest Coca-​Cola Freestyle touch-​screen soda fountains. (if you have a mobile device running Android or iOS, the QR code can be scanned using the coca-​cola freestyle app).
A monitor above the counter displays order numbers when the order is ready for pick-​up.
Besides the new aesthetics, the service seemed like was slower than usual — and I do not think that has anything to do with the additional five seconds on the buns; if that has been implemented here yet. I made three unsuccessful attempts to pay using NFC, but as a last resort I swiped my card.
My order was presented to me for dining-​in when I requested it to-​go. Just some annoyances, no big deal. Although McDonald’s strives for consistency across its locations, service will vary.
Sometimes, it seems to me like whatever new item is designed in Oak Brook and executed across thousands of locations, the taste is the same. However, the lettuce and tomato sirloin burger here tasted better than one from another location. Before trying it from this location, it tasted like any other «new» burger McDonald’s serves.
So, let’s see what Easterbrook has in store for the vision of the company.
P. S. Maybe McDonald’s will bring the focaccia buns to this market. And I may come back to this location to try out Coca-Cola’s freestyle app.

Horrible service, incorrect total given, wrong food received and rude employee with headphones in while working!!! Will definitely not return.

Maybe the issues in the other reviews have been addressed because I had no problems here when I stopped by for lunch. I ordered something that’s hard for most people to put in the resister (for some reason). My order was a side salad with a grilled chicken patty on the side, other places have a hard time with this. But the lady taking my ordered didn’t even blink, I was impressed.
The other employees seemed nice and approachable but I have no comment on the drive thru since I came inside. The drink station was a mess. Ice everywhere, straw papers and napkins all over the place. I love the person who came up with the idea of an enclosed play place for the kids, it really makes a difference. My table was clean and the bathrooms were acceptable.
I will be back.

The lunch shift employees are great. My job is located in this shopping center. So I stop by here every time I am in a hurry. I always see the same faces during noon. Diana is one of the workers there and she is a student and extremely hard working. I always have a small chit-​chat with her at the window.
The food on the other hand sometimes they don’t hear me well enough so I get the wrong order. Otherwise everything is super fast and friendly and convenient!
