The food & service are awful!!! Absolutely zero attention from the waiter, never asked to refill my drink, I had to ask for napkins, never got any silverware. Thank goodness I ordered a burger, until I tasted it. I could have had a better burger at Wendy’s. Andretti’s or Stars & Strikes are much better & the food is delish!

Fun times. The food is great, the bar is fun. Laser tag is great. The bowling is good too. Great selection of arcade games as well. A decent amount of pool tables too. Nothing to complain about. A place for adults and kids. Something to do for everyone.

First off…
1. KIDS. EVERYWHERE. This place has no curfew (unlike Dave and Busters). Kids stay here until midnight (at least) running amuck.
2. We were playing shuffleboard and had our drinks sitting on the adjacent table. The waiter asked «are you done?» I said «I think we’re still working on them.» He said «well I’ve never heard of drinking a watery drink» and took them away. LOL. Thanks for making us go to the BAR to get drinks while we’re playing shuffleboard, all while taking them away too soon. Lol.
3. Drinks are either crappy or decent– it just depends which bartender you happen to luck out upon.
Good place if you have a bunch of kids.
BAD place for adults only entertainment.

Your bartenders need to be trained properly. They need to be at least of age. The one who served me tonight couldn’t have been over 18. Wanting to be off at the time you close. Last call was made and she started crying. I felt bad for the girl. No offense. But we came here for a good time. The sign says open till 2 and half the events/​games were not even in operation. We spent more money than we should have and even with our group I was handed empty cards. We were all handed empty cards. When we paid at least $ 300 to have a group come and enjoy our night. Not professional. Don’t go here if you have any other option. Go to startime or werrly ball. But don’t come here.

Great place we had a blast. We will defiantly be back!!! Service was top notch Tierany our server was so nice and knew what we wanted before we knew. The spring break special is a great deal, however maybe have just one session instead of three.

We had a corporate event here last week and it could not have gone any better! The sales team were immensely helpful in tailoring an event to fit our specific wants and needs. We had a buffet lunch that was beautifully set up and waiting for us upon our arrival. The service staff (Chandra and Orlando) were fantastic, friendly, and fun. The bartenders made excellent drinks and were super friendly — loved that strawberry mojito!
We did bowling, laser tag, and the ropes course as well as enjoyed the arcade. All of the activities were very well run and we all had a blast. I especially want to thank the management (Joe in particular) who made sure everything ran smoothly and ensured that we all had a fantastic time. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Came here for a birthday party yesterday, and I think I can figure out the star rating without going into too much depth. This location is right off Mansell and easy access from 400. In case you’re wondering what Main Event is, it’s almost like Stars and Strikes/​Andrettis (without the cars) but modernized more and a tad upscale.
I’ve driven past this place and had a co-​worker say he’s been here, so my interest was peaked for this bday party. You walk in, and realize just how big this place is. They have a front desk check-​in and to the left is a huge area with very nice table seating, big screen tv, huge bar, an actual pizzeria in-​house that is closed off and has its own seating, two long shuffleboard tables, a bday party area with tvs, and a floor projection system that does interactive games.
Now, that’s all the stuff on the left! To the right and central, they have bowling lanes, gravity ropes, tons of game stations, air hockey, a ticket redemption credit shop filled with options, and a two-​floor laser tag area.
Everything is new here and it surely has something for all the kids. My two loved the Wizard of Oz game and air hockey, and the laser tag was a hit with the kids. The service was great for the bday party too, and the kids had a blast.
Now, I’m about to list off a couple things that might prevent me from coming here as opposed to Stars and Strikes. Actually, really just one thing … Pricing. We were given a $ 5 card for the kids to use for the arcade. Two swipes, and it’s gone. The air hockey was $ 1.80 per swipe! Are you flipping kidding me??? On top of that, I spent $ 50 and got $ 60 in game «credits» and it was gone in 45 minutes.
Now, I understand this is a high income area but I felt ripped off. I typically would grab a drink at the bar bc the bar looked enticing but I already felt I spent too much for somebody else’s bday party.
My other complaint, the last tag. They must have had at least 25 ppl in there, and you’re getting shot every 5 seconds. Ok, so overcrowded, but your gun powers down for a good 10 seconds when hit. It’s annoying, as I want to be able to shoot back quickly. The gun also had two settings on it, and it’s not that serious and makes it more confusing.
So, as much as the kids had fun, which is a plus, I felt cheated out of my money which is a HUGE problem. Fancy as this place is, I can spend $ 50 at stars and strikes, and we are there over an hour and getting bumper cars and laser tag included, plus the games don’t wipe out the «credits» so fast.
I don’t think I’ll be back. I like getting more for my money and while this place is nice, I spent way too much on attending a birthday party.

I have been here several times for bowling and video games, but last night was my first time to try out laser tag! I was meeting a group of friends for a birthday, and we had a really great time. However, the wait for bowling was pretty long so we didn’t participate. Laser tag was fun. The 15
minutes flew by!
As far as service goes, I have found it is not the best in the restaurant. Honestly, I always like to make sure I eat before heading here because the service and food isn’t that great. For example, my finance and I were late meeting up with our friends, and our friends were already finished eating. The waitress never acknowledged us or asked us if we wanted a drink… so we didn’t get any. I’m not surprised.
As far as entertainment… I give it four stars. Bowling, laser tag, video games are all fun… it can get pricey but they also have good specials.
Food and service… two stars!

Don’t let the name or plan exterior look deceive you. Upon entering, you will be greeted with lots of energy in a modern, new interior. I went there for my nephew’s birthday party on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed with not just families and children, but groups of adults just hanging out. This is truly a place where everyone can hang out. There are many entertainment options from bowling, lasertag, arcade games to high ropes. Above each of the bowling lanes are big screens playing music videos and the news, so it’s definitely a very fun, contemporary vibe. I think compared to any other bowling/​entertainment type place the stand out was the food. Usually you get crappy food at these places, but there was a full menu with a variety of tasty options-​including gluten free pizza and a decent drink selection! The staff was wonderful. The woman attending our group was excellent, the kids were very happy and there were no delays in the food, transitions between games and anything we needed was handled promptly and with a smile. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to hang out with great fun and food!

Ok place for the kids to blow off steam as long as you do not need help from the staff and god forbid you actually want to order food or drinks. This was not a one off event either we have been several times with the same service level or I should say lack there of and it does not matter if it is busy or dead… the customer service in this place is the worst I have ever seen. Even the management could absolutely careless if you are there or not. In fact, I am confident they would rather your not there.

When you walk into this place it looks impressive, but the service in the restaurant area was not great.
We sat at the table and we had to wait about 30 minutes till we could see a server we could flag down for service. She was nice at first and took our order and came back with it with just spoons and napkins to use. I asked her for some cutlery, but she never reappeared.
I had to actually approach her again at the service desk to ask her if she would like us to pay our bill there or whether we could do it when we were at our lane. I approached her because she said we would have to close our bill there before taking the food to the lane, or get it delivered there. But when I approached her to ask her she was very rude and replied «NOW WHAT DO YOU WANT?» What type of waitress speaks like that to their customers?
And the manager wasn’t better. He was very condescending as well, and then he went to the waitress and started yelling at her. She had one other large table (but she was cashing them out). At least she could have come to our table and asked «Is everything okay? Would you like anything else.» Or even the manager could have done this. If you are nice to your customers they will be nice back and give you a better tip.
I would think the manager would come in and help a little when they see they are needed. Isn’t that what manager is supposed to do? Manage and help at the same time! We had no cutlery, we cleaned our own table. We had to take our own food to our lane. There was no delivery, no reappearance of our waitress at our lane. Nothing.
Even a few of the games in the arcade were not working but you don’t know this till you scan your card, your money is deducted and then you try it. And there is no help button there so you can’t call anyone to help you.
If you want service at the bowling alley, you call them on the intercom but it is so loud there that they can’t even hear you that well even when you are yelling.
Service here sucks, except for the lady that was clearing the tables in the bowling alley (she was nice).
We came here to celebrate our 7^th wedding anniversary but when the service sucks and the employees and even the manager treat you with no respect it ruins your whole night.
If you want SOME customer service and good food don’t go here!

Main Event is a good venue for a party or get together with kids and adults alike. The venue offers all types of games and activities. It also has a full service bar and full menu.
Attended my nephew’s 10^th birthday party on 2÷21÷16, which consisted of approx 15 kids and 5 adults. The kids were able to bowl, play laser tag, video games and walk across an elevated rope. Also, the party package included several beverage options, pizza and birthday cake. My nephew had to have a Star Wars cake so we brought one in.
Worth noting: The kid party packages have a very strict schedule which does not seem to factor in slight delays for bathroom breaks and getting kids orderly. This could mean less time is spent than purchased. … However, the hosts handle every aspect of timing and activities which helps parents relax to the extent they can.
Gifts and valuables are stored in lockers while your group moves from station to station. The party table is only available for a short time and does not extend to the duration of the party.

Not a big fan of this place. The employees literally do not care whether or not you need something, they just stand around and chat all day. I asked one of the employees if she could get our server so we could pay and leave but the server was nowhere to be found. The food is actually really disgusting. The kids got the nachos and it tasted like the cheese may have been frozen before, the entire meal was cold. The Shirley temples were gross and the Sprite tasted like it was out of syrup so it was just carbonated soda. Service is slow, and when you have a question about ANYTHING it’ll take them 30 – 40 minutes to get back to you. Don’t waste your money or time. Kids didn’t enjoy it that much. The entire concept was overpriced and a waste of time. We spent $ 100 just for nachos/​gross Sprite, bowling and $ 15 on their cards to play arcade games.

I tried to ignore some of the reviews of the previous posters, but unfortunately most of them are true.
A couple of us have been looking for a place to shoot some pool, have a beer or two, maybe some food, and not be in a pool hall because of the smoke. Well this is not really the place to do it.
I saw on the website that from 4 – 7 on Sunday — Thursday, the pool is free. We thought this would be great… And it would be if the equipment was actually usable. The tables are «okay». The felt is pretty worn on all of them, and may effect how a ball rolls. Speaking of the pool balls, a lot of them are worn out, have chips in them and overall look like they’ve been in use since the 80’s. The pool cues are actually worse than the table and the balls. Out of probably 20 cues, only about 4 were actually usable. Most are missing the tips, or have cracked tips, or the shaft is broken and chipped, or just not usable. I know better about using house equipment, but what a deplorable state all of their equipment is in.
Service was questionable at best. The bar tender was not really in the mood to have conversation and the beer was not that cold coming out of the tap. Plus $ 6 for a Dos Equis is kind of laughable considering I can go to other bars that have craft beer for the same price. Most of the servers or employees were standing around and not doing a whole lot. At one point there were about 8 employees standing in circle in the expo area of the kitchen, and they were clearly laughing, joking, and killing time. Our friend ordered the Chicken & Waffles and couldn’t get it because they kept trying to fix the «Waffle Maker». How a waffle maker isn’t working is beyond me. They finally asked him to order something else because they couldn’t get him what he wanted. He ordered the Nachos and said they were okay for bar food.
I really feel inclined to not come back, but it’s a matter of putting in a couple of dollars towards the billiards stuff, and it would be much more popular and I’d probably come a lot more often.
Overall I feel like until they put some money into the equipment and get some capable managers to really get some motivated staff, this place will continue to suffer from horrible reviews.
P. S. $ 20 for an hour of bar Shuffleboard is absolutely outrageous.

Worst service ever. They don’t bother to even greet you at the bowling bay. WE paid for 1 hour of bowling and we had to ask for a server for 5 times and we get to order like 50 minutes into the game. Not worth the service. Find a different one to spend your money.
Also the unlimited play time, don’t bother to get it during a weekend. You are not allowed to play more than 1 hour of bowling at a given time. We had to wait for one hour and after 1 hour of play they said we need to go back in the waiting line. If its your first time and you don’t know, they won’t even tell you that is how it works.
At least we got our money back and charged for just the one hour we played but. Its a waste of time. Not fun going through all of this.

Great concept; lousy execution.
When you first walk inside it looks pretty impressive. Clean, new layout. Arcade games, bowling, billiards, etc. Very similar to Dave & Buster’s. This is where the fun stops.
The employees do everything possible to NOT work. Service was not bad, it was literally non-​existent. The pool tables are filthy but a brush is no where to be found. The bowling lanes aren’t maintained so your shoes will skid on the floor, wrecking your game. Plan on leaving whatever your’re doing to get food or drinks from the bar.
I would definitely come here regularly if all of the staff were fired, starting with the managers. Self-​serve is not worth the effort.

Worst Experience Ever!
Came to Main Event in Alpharetta to watch a football game. Service was horrible. When we got there we told the greeters or whomever they were we just wanted to eat and watch the game. We were told to seat ourselves. We did that and waited 20 – 25 minutes before we SAW a waiter/​waitress come in our direction. Then that waitress (who saw us first) told another waitress to help us. She gave us menus and took our drink orders and was then gone for at least another 15 minutes. I finally saw a a manager and told him our waitress disappeared. She came back with our drink and the ice had melted in mine, that’s how long she was gone.
We came to watch a college football game and had to ask 4 times for the channel to be turned to the game to find out they didn’t even have the channel. At that point, I was ready to leave and cancel my food order.
There were 1 – 2 parties going on but it was not very busy at all when we got there, so there was. I excuse for the piss poor service.
Only reason I gave 1 star is because two managers and a waitress came up to us to address our concerns. I was shocked when we told that waitress who our original waitress was she responded «Oh hell, I know exactly who that is. I see why you’re upset.» They’re supposed to be team members!
I will never return here and have several friends that work in the area. I will discourage them from having after work meetups at this location. Not sure if they were short staffed or what the deal was, but it was my first time at this location and I was extremely disappointed.
If you go, no matter the day, time or # of guests, please beware of the horrendous service you will get. Set your expectations accordingly.

Not going to waste your time with a long winded review:
We were ignored until we had to get up and notify a waitress. Twice.
We’ve been seated for an hour and 15, and nary a shred of food is to be seen. From what I can tell, the closer you are to the bar, the faster you’re served.
Guess who isn’t spending a penny on their games and is just leaving? Don’t waste your time. It’s Tuesday evening and there aren’t even that many people here.
I will make it a point to discourage people I know from hosting events or eating here. Poor service. Very poor service.

Laser Tag.
Pool.
Ropes Course.
Mediocre Bar and Beer selection.
Generic pizza.
Great gelato.
Redeem your 500 tickets for a $ 1 coozie for your cold (age-​appropriate) beverages.
Kinda expensive, but not as crowded as Dave & Buster’s. Yet.
Yep, pretty much sums it up.

This place is pretty cool. A group of us came here on a Saturday night. First thing we did was go to customer service, because we wanted to bowl. Bowling had a two hour wait, so we decided to roam around. We played a few games and waited for the next laser tag session.
It was a bit confusing because you have to go to one kiosk, then another then wait for a time. They give you one of the buzzers most restaurants give you when you’re waiting for a table. When it was time for our session, we all lined it and got our gear!
Now, once you gear up, your color is randomly chosen so you may be playing with or against your friends. Half of us ended up being red and the other ended up being blue. We had a great time.
Afterwards, we went to the bar for a few cheap shots ($ 3 –to be exact). After some shots, we went to play some games and in mid-​play the game shuts off and the lights come on. 2:05a sharp they’re kicking you out! So have fun while you can and get there early if you wanna bowl!
