The owners are pretty cool, but since it’s a two man shop, with loads of cars already there, it’s going to take them a good bit of time. As far as tuning, I’ve heard many complaints from my boyfriend and his brother about how their SR20S13 was not tuned properly since it’s running rich and burning fuel. I feel that as a shop, they are responsible for whatever happens to the car while it is in their possession. The car when brought in, did not have a broken gas tank, and when we got the car back, it was broken, and leaking gas. The car would not start once you turned it off without jump starting it, because they couldn’t figure out where it wasn’t grounded at, and that was not a problem before we brought it in. After paying over $ 800, my boyfriend and his brother spent the next few hours fixing everything that shouldn’t have been broken, just to be able to drive the car the next day without issues. $ 800 for a P.O.S. job. I highly doubt we’ll go back, ever. Unless it’s due to warranty.

I talked with the shop manager, Dominic Price, casually about LI and the services they provide. I do a lot of work on my own car and am always looking for shops to buy parts from and make connections with. Besides making a very racist comment, Dominic was nice enough to let me know I wouldn’t be able to even buy used parts unless I spent money with them for services or new parts. Essentially I was not in their ‘club’ so they wouldn’t help me. Bear in mind that my car is 95% my own creation(scratch built frame, etc) so I rarely bring it to shops for work. There are plenty of other performance shops out there with nicer people to deal with.
