This place has the best bagels in Johns Creek. They’re huge! I can barely eat one, I get so stuffed. All the favors are excellent. Love it.

Awesome. Great deli style bagel shop. They serve the cream cheese in this gelato-esque case of heaven. I can’t explain how perfect it is. You need to go!

If it hasn’t been boiled its not a Bagel. It’s just a roll with a hole. So all those places that don’t boil em, you ain’t makin bajgiel(the original Polish name for what we now know as a bagel) With that said, BB Bagels is the the best that I have found south of the Hudson River(OK Staten Island too). What ever«flavor» they’re making is great; but I’m a traditionalist when it comes to a number of things(including Bagels) so I stick to the seeds(caraway or kümmel, poppy or mohn, or sesame), weeds(garlic or onion) and salt on my bagels. OK an egg bagel when it’s fresh is pretty top notch too.(I do wish they made a Rye Bagel though). Walk up to the counter, order you bagels, and some cream cheese, and breakfast is then the meal for the day for me. Or have them put it on your bagel to go, which is what I normally do. And please bring cash– a single bagel with cream cheese is less then $ 2.50 and they don’t take credit cards for orders less then $ 5.00(a fair rule in my estimation since the rules for credit card fees have been revised by our government). Or sit down for a real breakfast — there is nothing like their bacon egg and cheese bagel. The only thing that could improve upon that as a sandwich would be the use of a richer smokier bacon — I prefer the Pepper bacon from the local supplier Patak. The reason for the four stars– their coffee. It’s horribly weak, and remarkably tasteless to me. So it’s diet Coke if I sit down for breakfast, or I will stop at Dunkin, Starbucks or even QT and get my Bagels and cream cheese to go, as I did today. After all, today was Bagelday(as is is any day that ends with y) when you get your bagels from BB Bagels. Now one trivial beef with the décor… In this location they have a number do ersatz street signs on their walls that they purport to be of streets in the Bronx(from whence they claim their name) and one of these signs is for an «Aurthur Ave.» … That is no street in da’ Bronx. There is an Arthur Ave — which is the home of the Little Italy of the Bronx ~

If it’s just the bagels you want, you should be OK. If it’s customer service and a genuine feeling of «We’re glad you’re here!», then this probably isn’t your place. Maybe we just had the wrong waitress,…a sour bitch with an attitude never inspires much optimism —(and this isn’t about misogyny, my friends, it’s about providing an accurate description, with both my wife and myself playing the part of cheerful, yet unsuspecting Sunday morning victims). I apologize only that we did not get her name. Unfortunately, she never gave it to us and, in fact, only came back by our table once,(to slap our check down without even acknowledging our meal or making eye-contact). This was even despite our declaration, while placing our original order, that we wanted to give her a to-go order when we finished eating. BTW — My wife’s eggs(benedict) were undercooked, and we both concurred with other reviews that the«house fries» are easily forgettable. My wife went on out to the car while I stopped by to order the to-go bagels. The order was filled quickly, yet the bagel cashier was clearly perturbed when I didn’t have anything smaller than a $ 50 to pay for my $ 3 order(at 12 noon on a Sunday??? — gimme a break). In closing, the«bitch» finally chased me down as I headed away from the bagel counter, concerned about her payment, which I’d left on the table(and with a tip, like some kind of major league idiot…). Later in the day, the toasted bagel w/cream cheese was fairly decent.

I’m him. The one guy who dislikes bagels. «If you don’t like BB’s,» they said, «there’s no hope for you.» As a result, I won’t let my distaste for these chewy, boiled bread rings affect my rating. Bagel is Doughnut’s retarded brother: Doughnut: «Aw, Ma. Do I havta?» Mother: «Walk your brother to school, Murray!» Doughnut: «But Maaa!» Mother: «Is this the way you treat family? Let Bagel walk to school with you. Introduce him to your friends since you’re so popular.» Doughnut: «But my friends will make fun of us! I don’t wanna!» Mother: «I’ve had just about enough of this, young man! If they make fun of you and your brother, then they’re not your friends.» Doughnut: «Gee whiz, Ma. C’mon, Bagel!» Bagel: «Duhh. Derpaderp. Hey, Murray, duh I got cream cheese on my tie. D’ya tink teacher will be sore at me? Huh? Do ya, Murray?» Doughnut: «Ah gee, don’t talk to me. And walk way behind me.» Bagel: «Duhh. OK, Murray. I got da best brudda in da woild!» I arrived at Bronx Bagels Sunday around 10, and it was already packed, but not nearly busy enough to justify the disorganization I faced in trying to get a table. It has fewer seats than I’d expect from a shop of this size. Upon entering, there’s a sign directing take-out orders to the right and diners to the left. Except, to the left is the coffee station. No matter; it seemed no one else had read the sign anyway, so there was just a mob of people blocking the door. I stood around for more than 5 minutes until an old woman walked up with a list of names written on a paper bag. She added mine and I continued to wait another 10 minutes until she led me to a table. I surveyed the tables nearby and saw many large people consuming many huge bagel sandwiches stuffed with meats and eggs. I was hardly tempted by these bagel behemoths. One other item, however, did piqué my interest — the home fries. They looked delicious. It was about 10 minutes before the waitress came to take my drink order and another 3 – 5 until she brought me a tall cup of unsweetened tea. Another 5 minutes until she returned to take the food order and I reminded her that I’d ordered sweet tea. I ordered an everything flagel(a new concept to me) with lox spread, a marble rye bagel with sundried tomato spread, a wheat bagel with honey-nut spread, and the home fries. The potatoes arrived quickly; a good thing, because I’d hate for the anticipation to have built up any further, resulting in an even greater level of disappointment. Bland. Had to add salt, pepper and ketchup. I’d even asked the waitress before ordering whether they were as good as they looked, and she said they were. Liar. The bagels came in another 5 – 10 minutes. Best bagels I’ve tasted. It’s not saying much, but I was not totally disappointed by them. The prices only slightly high(except for the lox spread, which commands an additional $ 5 charge and had VERY little lox in it). The sundried tomato spread tasted exactly the way marigolds smell. Not that I disliked it, but it was an olfactory oddity. The honey-nut spread tasted great, but like Farinelli, had a notable scarcity of nuts. Other than my other minor grievances regarding the food, my biggest is perhaps that the cream cheese spreads seemed diluted by something other than cheese. They had very little cheese flavor, being something closer to an American Neufchâtel than better cream cheeses. I’m sure the gigantic folks at some of the other tables around me love getting that ¼lb of spread with their bagels(I think some of them had served as models for the WALL-E animators), but I’d have happily accepted half as much of a better spread for the same price. But far beyond food complaints is my irritation with the disorganization at BB’s. After sitting, I realized they were in fact not particularly crowded. It only seemed that way because they have such a poor system in place for seating and serving, and the only reason the servers were always running around in a hurry is most likely that they’re not very good at their jobs. I know this was the case with mine, who rarely acknowledged my table again after the food arrived. I had to flag her to get a refill and then again to ask for a box, and again for the check. The last attempt to get her attention got not even a nod of the head or a smile to acknowledge she’d heard. It was not until she brought the check a while later that I was relatively sure she’d heard me. I wasn’t sure whether to pay at the table or register, so I decided to go with the latter. Unfortunately, I had chosen poorly, and she chased me down to get the payment. She brought the receipt for me to sign, after first going on a trek around the restaurant in search of the legendary Signing Pen. I started to fill in the tip and total information on the receipt and she quickly returned to try to snatch the pen from me, because, you know, there was only one pen in the ENTIREFUCKINGRESTAURANT. Overall, 6⁄10(adjusted upward to account for my bellicosity toward bagels

STAYAWAY! The bagels are ok but over priced, the table service is eh, nothing special but the«customer service» is horrible. My debit card was double charged which I chalked up as an honest mistake. The purchase was made on a Saturday and when I called on Monday to try to get it resolved, I discovered that they were closed. So I called on Tuesday and was told toild by the manager, «what’s the big deal? it was a minor mistake, we’ll fix it.» Well the manager wanted me to give my card number to him over the phone, not something I thought was a good idea so the manager said that this was something the owner would have to resolve anyway and that he would have the owner call me. Of course, the owner didn’t call. So I called back the next day and was told that the owner wasn’t in and that he didn’t know when or if the owner would be coming in. The manager said he would call the owner and that the manager would call me right back. The manager did call me back and per the owner I would have to give my debit card number to the manager over the phone if I wanted the refund OR that I could come back in the following Saturday and the owner might be in at that time. SEROUSLY!!! I abandoned all efforts in dealing with the manager and gave up on the owner actually calling me so I filed a dispute with my bank. My account was credited the amount of the double charge but through no effort by the owner of this business. There are plenty of bagel shops in the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area, I suggest trying those. STAYAWAYFROMTHISONE!

Love this little place — meet a friend up here every once in awhile — lots of goodness in their bagels The first time, I had the bagel and egg sandwich — that was good. Then I tried the Flagel — if you have to ask, then you are or using ur imagination! If you can eat the whole thing you are a better man than me! The most recent time, I had the power bagel and peanut butter — yum! But very filling The service is excellent, the atmosphere is nice, and the coffee is hot(or cold if u want it that way!) Show them some love and go visit — you will not regret it’s,

Okay, nothing else to say. These bagels transport its consumer to another world, where Bob Marley music is omnipresent and we all saunter about with our hands clasped together. I am not lying. Head over to BB’s to experience it yourself. I don’t know about anything at this place, except for the bagels and cream cheese. Fine, they want to serve other fare, I’m not hating. But the star of the show is so obvious. I have tried tons of bagel flavors and I am certain that my memory will fail me as I try to recollect: plain, sundried tomato, potato, onion, garlic, blueberry, cranberry, everything(this variety is a Godsend), cinnamon raisin, veggie(another aaaaamazing one), and the lesser-known bialy. I have had plain and veggie cream cheese. What!?! Wait, I need to recompose myself… Okay, so the bagels are gigantic and are perfectly chewy and soft. Bagels were meant to be like these. The bialy was good(cannot them to another one, as this one took my bialy virginity), but did not beat the bagels in my book. I usually get mine to go, as you get your doughy goodness much faster this way, but I have on occasion dined in. Waitstaff is friendly and swift, with drink refills happening as they need to. But don’t expect fine-dining service. This is a bagel joint after all and I hope that that never changes. If it ain’t broke… Bagels. Get them from here. And prepare yourself for a psychedelic experience.

we love BB’s — and eat there often for breakfast on the weekends. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, especially when it’s jammin’(which is often!). When we have company in from out of town, we really like to come here if we aren’t cooking at home. The menu has lots of great stuff, so there is always something for everyone. I particularly like the ham-egg-cheese on an everything bagel(with Taylor ham) toasted. It just hits the spot for me. Pancakes are very good too! Eggs to order however you want, and the coffee is always hot hot hot!

After visitng the other location with a disappointing experience, imagine my delight at learning there is a SECOND location complete with the same magical bagels but sans the surly waitstaff and over-crowded trailer. I want to make this my regular breakfast spot. It is totally worth the northward drive from my house. At this location, there was actually a friendly hostess helping people find seats and the waitstaff was efficient, friendly and helpful. The walls were decorated with nice photographs of the nyc skyline instead of license plates and rude posters telling me how I, as the customer, should conduct myself. I had a yummy salt bagel and my husband had a blt wrap. Both were delish! I am overjoyed about finding this gem in the suburbs! Can’t wait until this weekend so I can go back!

I am from new york & know my bagels been eating them since I was a kid, the one thing I dislike about these bagels is the way to big, I have never eating a bagel in NY this large, it’s just to doughy. on a postive note there better than most bagels in Atlanta, though einsteins is not bad at all.

I found this place on Unilocal and decided I had to give it a try. I mean, who doesn’t love a mean bagel?! I went mid-morning and was able to avoid any early morning crowd but still early enough to avoid a lunch rush. Having a low to moderate crowd did help this first time BB’er get familiar with the food and ask questions. The staff was GREAT and very friendly. I ended up selecting the french toast bagle with strawberry cream cheese and a large drink. My total was 6 dollars and some change. Some will say this is a bit pricey; however, I did get what I paid for! The bagel was HUGE, fresh, filled with just the right amount of cream cheese, and topped with powdered suger. It was pretty amazing! They had other breakfast /lunch menu items that I am eager to try on my next visit. As a first time customer, they went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience!

Excellent bagels — Ask the counter person which bagels are still warm and you’ll get an oversized bagel with a bit of a crunch on the oustide and warm chewy inside — near perfect! Only downside is the speciallty cream cheese — way overpriced! A bagel and cream cheese will cost you about $ 4 bucks. ouch — go to the Kroger grocery store right behind BB’s and get whole tub of Philly cream cheese for half the price…

I met up with my pastor’s wife at BB’s Bagels for brunch. It was 10:30 and the place was packed. I am a huge fan of bagels and was really looking forward to trying it out. I’m a lover of bagels from Einstein’s, but when I saw these huge carb pillows, it was true love. There are many varieties of bagels and they are big and look so homey. Also, I thought they would only sell bagels, but it’s more like a diner! They have everything from burgers to sandwiches to eggs benedict. Once seated, I ordered a wheat bagel with regular cream cheese and a cup of coffee. Mrs. Pastor ordered scrambled eggs, home fries, an everything bagel, and strawberry cream cheese.(I think all the flavored cream cheeses are light/whipped.) They served the cream cheese on the side and boy was it a nice big dollop.(I would expect that for the price of $ 1.99.) I only had the bagel, but it was delicious. I think these bagels might be my favorite. So, after eating, we sat and talked for a very long time and that’s when a server plopped a white paper bag down onto our table. We looked around to see that every table was getting a white paper bag. We peeked inside to see it filled with bagels. They were giving away all the left over bagels!!! Our server was super nice and brought our table an extra one. Needless to say, I’m a fan! Also, they have a fundraiser going on right now. A friend of the owner has been diagnosed with Mesothelioma and they are selling little shamrocks. You can donate as much or as little as you want. I can’t wait to bring my boyfriend here. I think he’ll really like it. Good food and good service goes a long way!

I’m soooo happy there’s a second location… MUCH more convenient! The bagels are just as big, just as fluffy as the first location. HUGEHUGEHUGE bagels. I’m on carb overload thinking about it. Everything bagel really hits the spot every time — crunchy, salty goodness in every bite. It can get ridiculously busy, and it seems like the parking just isn’t great at either location(only downside). Regardless, I’ll probably be making a regular stop here. FYI, it’s like right next to the Kroger lot.

Hell to the YES. This is my first time here and I really just came to compare their bagel with Bagel Boys. I gotta say — they are in two different categories and I realized that right away. When I want a tasty bagel I still will def go to Bagel Boys… they have my fav combo of the asiago with veggie spread and BB’s Bronx Bagels did not… BUT when I just want some of the tastiest authentic city food I’m used to at home… in a similar environment… I will be a BB’s Bronx Bagels all day! I didn’t know what to do when I first came in(Yeah, yeah — I realize I might have some anxiety problems there, but hey… I know I’m not the only one!) and the guy behind the glass bagel front saw this and HELPED…(score!). He let me know that they’re more than just bagels and I could have a seat to look at the menu if I had time… so I did :) The menu wasn’t carried away about having every bagel flavor in the world… they kept it honest and true to what you would find in the Bronx(i.e.: Cheddar not Asiago) and I respect that. I ended up ordering an egg salad bagel sandwich on a veggie bagel with a side of bacon and a coffee. — The coffee was PERFECT! Delicious actually. — My sandwich was HUGE and tasty(made with super fresh ingredients). — My bacon… Okay… might have been the best item ever as it was THEBEST bacon I’ve ever had. It was so thick, fresh, crispy, even-cooked and flavorful… plus they gave quite a lot for it to be a side and they were long /filling pieces. — Another item that was a treat in a very strange way was the pickle halves that came with the sandwich :-p They were SO freaking good I asked if I could pay for more and my waitress said no pay was necessary(I’ve only had those type of pickles from my fav kosher deli back home). I am SO full right now and did not even eat a full HALF of my sandwich. Everyone who works here that I encountered has been super helpful and nice. Also: They have free wiFii(on it now), TVs up for entertainment and the environment is MY type of environment… full of life, a little Sinatra in the background real low, the owner’s kids at the bar having breakfast and people enjoying their morning coffee with a newspaper and friends. Oh, I’m sorry, did I forget to mention the price was exceptionally right as well… MmHmm — good stuff; I’m happy :)

I’ve been hesitant about posting my review because I hate to break a 5-star streak for what could have just been a slightly off order. I’m a bagel lover, so I’ve been looking for the best bagel in Atlanta and kept reading about BB’s. When I saw they’d opened a second place close to me I knew I had to try it. I’d been on a 5 month bagel break, so surely this would be a great reintroduction to my great love. Alas, it wasn’t. My standard choice — sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese — was what I ordered after standing at the counter watching a guy with a broom as he tried to decide if he would take my order or sweep something up. I noticed that the place was busy, the dining room about full, but there was nobody else in line with me. Two men stood behind the counter holding up the bagel case — no acknowledgment from either of them as I stood there. I ordered, paid and got my bagel in a couple minutes. It was still a little warm, but the outside was pretty dark — definitely over-baked. For the size of the bagel — very generous(I couldn’t eat more than half) — there wasn’t really enough cream cheese, but I can acknowledge that I’m a cream cheese fanatic, so I like a lot… especially on such a large bagel. All in all — decent. Not bad. Not the best I’ve ever had. And certainly not a 5 star experience. I’ll try them again soon, though, because I can’t believe everyone else here is wrong.

**Edited to add: They have a $ 5 minimum to use credit cards, which is the same at a lot of places, BUT this is NOTALLOWED by credit card companies. I was super pissed when I couldn’t get my $ 3 bagel and cream cheese, that I asked to speak to a manager about this. He argued with me, and then another guy argued with me, and once I told them I was going to report them to the CC companies they stopped arguing. I have yet to report them, but I think I will, because they make it so you CAN’T EVENUSE your credit card if it is under $ 5. NOTALLOWED… why are you making me hate you!!! LOVE that they opened a second location! There are tons of tables inside and the service is FAST. While their bagels are the best in the area, you have to try their blueberry pancakes! To die for!!! Yum yum yum! LOVEBB’s!!! Careful because they close at 2pm, so go for breakfast or lunch!
