Love the sushi night, but they should tell everyone it is NOT ALL ½ price. They do have good service and a friendly staff

Just walked out … the restaurant is cold and so dark we had a hard time reading the menu. The seats are also low. The atmosphere was so uncomfortable that we left and went to another restaurant.

Second time here. Enjoyed both experiences. Had baby blue crab claws and mussels for app and they were both delicious. The broth of the crab was awesome. With had peppercorn tuna minus the peppercorn and added sesame seeds. It’s was seared and cool raw in center. It was good. I had pecan crusted Mahi, also good. We both added a huge fried prawn to our meals and these things are huge. Like baby lobster huge. Most try the bread pudding for dessert. I also had the «smoked» old fashioned and it was a unique twist on a old trusty drink. 4 starred this place because it is super good but just nothing really to push it over the top.

The food was very good and the service was excellent… It could be because it was New Years Eve, but my husband and I were placed in a back room away from the main dining area. Some people may appreciate the deafening silence of a separate area, we are not those people. There was a lively scene including live music and the standard hustle and bustle of New Years eve Vibe in the air. Generally speaking, it is overrated.

Food is excellent as always. Our server was rushing us within the 1^st 15min of sitting down. Told her we definitely needed more time. She was cool and aloof after that, but gave us time for our special occasion. The blue checkered shirts on servers take away from ambiance.

Excellent Service! Great food! Easy in and out location!!! The fried calamari was awesome! The fish and chips and the clam chowder was excellent!!! Could not have had a better service experience for a group of 10 of us! Food came out hot and fresh!

Not worth the hype. We ordered mixed platter appetizer– very greasy and tasted bad. The California roll and nigiri combo was just ok. My husband ordered beer and the can had some black powder on top. We showed it to the waitress and got it replaced. The new can too www over 6 months old. Overall, a damp squib.

We had a fantastic date experience here. The waiter was extremely helpful and very welcoming. The food was delicious. The ambience was perfect for a romantic night out. Everything about our time at Atlantic Seafood was excellent… a really great place.

So my family and I ate at this restaurant to celebrate my brother in law’s birthday. The service was above reproach, the sushi was amazingly delish and fresh, and of course the main dish was superb. The only reason i did not give five stars is the fried cod was disgusting don’t order it.

Best sushi in north Atlanta. If Ian is working, ask to sit in his section, he rocks!!!

First time to this resturant, I sat at the bar. Met Mary Ann she was working the bar area this rainy monday night. She recommended the soy-​glazed chilean sea bass so I ordered that and a cup of seafood gumbo. The gumbo was a nice portion, for a cup, that came with a lump of rice and a side of crackers. The soup was really good but not too spicy hot. I like it hot so added a couple drops of Tabasco and it was perfect! The sea bass was prepared stack style with the rice on the bottom, then some baby boy choy then the sea bass with the Wasabi buerre blanc around the sides. The fish with prepared very well and delivered as soon as I finished my gumbo. The entire dish was very good. Overall 5 stars for service, ambiance and food. All excellent.
I will be back and plan to have some sushi next round. It looks really good.

Another great birthday celebration. It was accompanied with great food, drinks, service, and company. This place is now a birthday tradition.

I really enjoyed the food and service

We ate dinner here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The atmosphere was intimate, despite the size of this place. Somehow, they keep it dimly lit and intimate; the fact that there were only a few other people there probably contributed. The décor seems a bit dated, but they’ve also got an identity crisis. Neon signs, painted murals, large industrial letters… none of it really went together.
That said, service was great and the food was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Her king crab legs were very good and mine was the best shrimp & grits I’ve ever tasted. Kudos to the chef! Sides of sweet potato & bacon hash and roasted brussel sprouts were tasty. And the calamari appetizer was very good.
My only complaint is the prices. We ended up with a $ 140 tab (including corkage fee), plus tip. Yikes. Maybe we’ll just come here for special occasions…

This is definitely the best seafood in Alpharetta! I loved this place! I came here for the first time and wasn’t sure what to expect. Everything was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. We started with the fried calamari appetizer (which is free when you check in on your Unilocal App). It was very good!
I ordered the Scallops, as my main dish, with Brussel sprouts and a side of Kale Salad. I requested the Kale salad come out first and that was no problem! It was delicious and perfectly dressed as well. The Scallops dish came with five scallops on skewers with a dipping sauce. The Brussels had a sweet Balsamic sauce on them. Our waiter did a great job of refilling drinks and the live piano player on Friday night was amazing! I can’t wait to come back here and definitely recommend it!

The seafood broil was fantastic and I got Brussel sprouts instead of spinach. The lemonade was terrible and I expected something house made instead of a fountain drink. Husband had the surf and turf and the lobster tail was pulled out for him. Free calamari appetizer on help was great, and we added the salmon spread. It was zesty and we got more crostinis for it. We ended with the banana pudding that was only okay, even though our waiter raved about it

Kicking myself for not taking a picture of mine and my husbands food, but once it got to our table I could NOT stop shoveling it in!!!
Hubby and I came here as a spur-​of-​the-​moment date night dinner (first time diners), and we could not be more pleased. Great atmosphere, every staff member was friendly and helpful. We were seated quickly (recommend making a reservation), and our food came quicker than expected.
I ordered the shrimp and grits, and after a few bites I felt like I could have died a very satisfied individual! Exaggerating here, but it was just too good. Very rustic and flavorful. My husband ordered the mixed broil and he, being an avid foodie, said those were the best melt-​in-​your-​mouth scallops he’s ever had.
Great food portions for the price. We will definitely be regular diners! Thank you Atlantic Seafood Company for a wonderful dinner, we literally could not make one complaint!

When we walked in we felt like important customers, special thanks to I believe the manager. We were shown the fresh seafood fridge display, which was nice. We were seated at a spacious booth and ordered two drinks: Mr Kool-​Aid and Key Lime Pie Martini. Both were delicious but the Key Lime Pie has a good amount of alcohol in it so if you’re not a decent drinker pace yourself.
For appetizer, we ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and Shrimp Tempura Sushi Rolls — both had an Extremely fresh taste and I would come back just for these items.
For Entrée, we had the Soy-​honey Chilean Sea bass with a side of Lump Crab Cake and BBQ Salmon and a side of Sweet Potato & Bacon hash (okay). All of it was VERY good.
Our dessert was the absolute best we had the hot fudge brownie sundae. Wish we had a little more ice cream but it was amazing. The brownie was fresh out of the oven with the fudge and caramel drizzled generously. Our taste buds were on cloud 9.
The ambiance had the feeling of an island getaway. The music spanned across multiple genres but were all relaxing. We could’ve stayed all night and just vibed out.
Expensive but worth the money, we’ll be back here!

Great atmosphere, really good service, and AMAZING food!!!
Had the Hootenanny oysters on the half shell. Delicious. Fried calamari had a great flavor. Squid salad had the perfect flavor.
I got the Sea Monster sushi roll and my dad got the African Prawns. Everything. Delicious. Definitely need to come back again soon!!!

Went to AFC for dinner last night. We arrived at 8:45 for our 9:00 pm reservation and were informed they were closing at 9:30 pm due to the weather. As much as I do understand their position, I wish we would have received a courtesy telephone call letting us know they would be closing half hour after our arrival.
My opinion of the restaurant is that it has been hyped up a little too much in the reviews. Perhaps that’s why my expectations were a little higher.
We began with the Calamari appetizer. The sauce was delicious, however the Calamari itself was extremely tough and chewy. We ate a few bites and set it aside. Next we ordered the AFC Salad, which was just «okay». It sounded much better on the menu than it really was. Our meal was the Grilled Grouper over Whipped Potatoes served with julienne vegetables. The grouper was delicious and melted in my mouth. It was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the potatoes were drenched in a rich butter cream sauce that made them difficult to finish. Too rich for my tastebuds.
Overall, the service was slow (although courteous) in light of the fact that we were only one of four people in the restaurant. The food was «okay», and the ambiance, acceptable. In my opinion it is a little overpriced for what it has to offer.
