I bought a car – through Wheels, Inc – located in South Carolina that needed to be transported to Scottsdale, AZ via Amerifleet. I paid for the vehicle and transportation services 3.5 weeks ago. I received one email from Amerifleet that was a survey regarding times for delivery. Three weeks have gone by without a single call from AmeriFleet regarding the transport of my vehicle and I was originally told it would take 7 – 10 days for my vehicle to be delivered. 25 days later and I never heard from them. The only correspondence between myself and AmeriFleet was initiated by me. I find this very distasteful considering cost for transport was around $ 2000. After many phone calls I finally found out that my car was having services on it. It is not AmeriFleet’s responsibility to inform me of said services but it is their responsibility to inform me of a delay. Finally I get an estimated delivery date – yesterday 4⁄22 or today 4⁄23. I was told I’d be called by the driver for an update when my vehicle was close. No call. Amerifleet has not contacted me once without my prompting. Terrible customer service; although I will add that once I was able to call and get through to them, the employees were very kind. My main issue is their lack of correspondence as more than three weeks had gone by without them calling me.
