This place has never disappointed. The catering and the restaurant are a hidden gem. All of the smoked meats are tender and spiced perfect. The sides are great. Mac and cheese and collard greens are my recommendation. The owner Walter really provides great service and food. The barbecue is fantastic before sauce and complimented with it.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did. I called up a friend and we went to check it out. Everyone is correct that the location is quite tucked away and easy to to miss, but I have noticed that they do sometimes have signs that they put up to help people spot the restaurant. There are tables so you can eat both inside and a small eating area outside. The restaurant was clean and we were greeted upon our entrance. I had the pulled chicken sandwich and my friend got an Italian sausage. We also got a variety of sides(baked beans, collard greens, and mac ‘n’ cheese). Everything was quite tasty. The owner was in the restaurant when we were ordering and he had great customer service. He told us about the Luau that they hold outside every 1st Sunday which is an all you can eat. I will be going to that in the near future so I can try some of the bbq and other menu options. I do agree that the prices are a bit high, but for the area in which the restaurant is located it is priced accordingly. I will be back to this establishment and I would recommend it to others!

Ordered delivery through city spree. YUMMM. Got the pulled pork sandwich with poppy seed coleslaw which I liked better than the smoked fried chicken plate which we also got. The menu made it seem like it was off the bone but it wasn’t! The Mac and cheese was my favorite side. Bbq beans, greens, Brunswick stew all amazing. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the sweet potato mash! I’m always disappointed when a bbq place doesn’t have fried okra! They also sell whole pies which sounded delicious but too expensive for me

The food and SERVICE was awesome. We picked it up to go, but the folks there couldn’t have been more accommodating and pleasant! The pulled pork was fantastic and the mac and cheese was just the best. The coleslaw has poppy seeds and was delicious. Everything was terrific. will be going back.

The macaroni is great and the service is generally fast. The prices, overly salty rub, dryness of meat and the chocolate sauce that I’m still on the fence about are why I will probably keep looking for my «go to» bbq restaurant.

Came on an off-day. Got a half-pound instead of the pound I ordered and had to go back. Staff were quick to fix the mistake. On flavor for the brisket, good smoke, overly lean/dry. I’d give it a passable BBQ rating, but it’s nothing special.

Good food. Good customer service. My boyfriend had samples of the banana pudding, sweet potato pie, & smoked wings. He loved them all, so we will be back haha. I got the beef rib plate, with Mac n cheese & collard greens. The greens were just«ok» not my favorite… But i really liked the Mac n cheese! I’ll be back, i may get the pork ribs next time.

Excellent customer service but a bit pricy. It’s tucked away, so unless you’re familiar with the area you’re not likely to find it. My husband had the beef ribs and they were the meatiest beef ribs I’ve ever seen in life! The Mac and cheese was good and so were the greens… the pork ribs were more competition style so they had a little more tug than I like, but they were still delicious.

Meh– super friendly folks but unless they are letting me eat for free I doubt I’ll try them again. Waited about 20 min for my order. Was told the Mac and cheese was the hold up. Had to bake. Got home 5 min later and it was cold in the container so not sure how it was baking? I don’t mind waiting for amazing food but again got home and less then impressed. Wasn’t terrible but just not that great for the cost. At the end of the day the meats were dry. I’m sure it isn’t always bad but good it good all the time. Super disappointed because I really wanted amazing BBQ close to the house.

3 Brothers BBQ is located near the intersection Jones Bridge Rd. and Kimball Bridge Rd. in the same building as the Taekwondo studio, on the side facing Kimball Bridge; next to a Dentist office. Walter, the owner and one other member of the staff were present when I visited. This is a small restaurant with limited indoor and outdoor seating. I took a moment to peruse the menu and decided on a half-rack rib plate, which comes with two sides and a corn muffin. I also ordered six smoked wings. I waited as one other patron was having their takeaway order prepared. Before making my final decision, I was offered to sample the side items. The collard greens were good, but too much on the vinegar for my palate. The macaroni and cheese was good, but it is something that I hardly eat. I liked the coleslaw and potato salad and decided upon those. The coleslaw with poppy seeds had a good, balanced taste. The potato salad was prepared with a traditional recipe and was good also. While I was waiting he gave to me a rib which he sprinkled with their dry rub seasoning. It was good, a little dry, but he assured me what I would be getting would not be like that. 3 Brothers BBQ primarily uses hickory wood to smoke their meats and according to their website, cherry or pecan wood may be used. The baby back ribs were good. Seasoned well, meaty and not overcooked. «Finishing sauces» are available. I only used a little on my ribs since I do not like a lot of sauce on ribs. The smoked wings are flash fried after smoking and dusted with their dry rub seasoning. Due to their size, I received eight instead of six. The wings could have been slight more crisp on the outside, but they were good and meaty on the inside. The corn muffin was good. $ 36 for a rib plate and smoked wings is more than what I am used to paying for similar however, the food was great. In addition, extending the offer to sample the side items and including two additional wings added to the great customer service. I realized while writing this review that I was overcharged when I visited. I was charged for a dozen wings when I ordered six. I returned asking for Walter, who was not available at that moment, but I explained what happened to his daughter. She asked if I wanted a difference in the amount or the balance of wings; I requested the wings. I had my receipt and offered to show the image I took as proof, but that was not necessary. I was also given a serving of coleslaw. Excellent service and I appreciate the manner in which my concern was handled. I plan to visit again! Review number 400 goes to 3 Brothers BBQ.

Best turkey ever! I have been going to Walter and 3 Brothers BBQ for a couple of years now, for lunch usually. I decided to take a break from cooking and try 3 Brothers turkey for Christmas. We picked it up Christmas eve and devoured it(well, made a big dent, it was a lot of turkey). Moist, flavorful, the skin was so, so good — crisp and delicious. It is the perfect combination of flavor without overpowering the taste of turkey. I love stopping in to 3 Brothers, everyone friendly, you might see some kids doing homework and after you go in a couple of times and they will know you. Great neighborhood BBQ(and worth a trip turkey).

Although not one of my favorite BBQ places I enjoyed the collards and ribs. Large portions and friendly staff. Not a lot of space to sit inside.

SOGOOD! My husband and I took my four kids and we ordered their family deal and got extra meat to taste the menu and EVERYTHING was really juicy and tender! They were super friendly, and prices were very affordable! We had pretty much everything on their menu and for dessert their banana pudding was the best! Made FRESH! The brisket and the ribs were our FAVE! Mac n cheese, beans, coleslaw n greens were perfect! Their bbq sauce went great with everything! If you’re looking for a bbq spot TRY this place! You’re taste buds will LOVE you! I would’ve took pictures but we pretty much inhaled everything

Some of the best BBQ side dishes I’ve ever had. Ribs make my top 5 I’ve had in Georgia. I’d go a couple times a month were it not so overpriced.

Just tried this for the first time & it was excellent. The sauce goes perfectly with the ribs & the greens are the best I’ve ever had @ a restaurant… EVER. The staff was very good & everything the recommended was great. I’m not a fan of Banana Pudding but my wife is & she said it was delicious. Next time I’m up in the Alpharetta area I am def going back.

Little piece of BBQ heaven. A hidden gem with a super friendly crew and southern hospitality. Pulled pork was well seasoned and I ordered the brunswick stew. Hearty and all around delicious flavor. What’s that you get the best ribs you ever saw there too! Looking forward to my next visit. P. S. The sauce itself is great try it for yourself

The counter worker was nice and helpful. This is a no fuss place with very limited seating. It is tucked in the back corner of a small strip center and is difficult to get in and out of. The meat… the pulled pork is good. It has good smoke and wasn’t tough. I will say it had more spices than I like on the meat but it was still good. I tried the classic BBQ sauce and it was good too.

Service is great. I find the food a little pricey for what you get. On average I think each meat plate is $ 2.00 more than it should be.

Disclaimer Walter is my brother but I have to say I always loved his cooking and am happy he opened up this place. I drive from Decatur to eat his good cooking. Friendly staff and cool place to chill.

I’d call this a modern twist on a classic food style. The bbq meats are old-school smoked right out front and taste amazing. The modern twist comes from the chocolate bbq sauce and the creative way that Walt can create bbq dishes on the spot for you. I’ve been numerous times now and my favorite dish by far is the Pulled Pork Panini. It’s not on the main menu but if Walt is in and you kindly ask for it he may acquiesce to the request. Can’t go wrong with any of the meats but my favorites are the pulled pork and the ribs. Both are juicy and the smoke flavor really sets them above any of the other bbq in the Gwinnett area. The mac-n-cheese is really well done as is the Brunswick stew. Customer service is hands down the best of any place you or I will ever go to. Walt and his staff take the time to get to know you all while having your order ready in a prompt manner. BBQ itself is pricey but this place is right on the average of any other bbq joint. Only downside is that it’s hidden in the corner of a busy intersection! With better location this place would be way more popular!

All I can say is double WOW for OUTSTANDING customer service from 3 Brothers! Seriously, customer service alone would give them 5 stars because they definitely understand the power of satisfying their customers. For starters they accepted my 10% off Unilocal Check In Offer. ELGIN is my new HERO! I arrived at 3 Brothers about 45 mins prior to closing and sadly they were out of ribs :-(That’s to be expected it was the end of the night, so they don’t lose stars here. I typically don’t like to go to restaurants this late because the pickings are slim but my hubby was craving some bbq and I wasn’t cooking. The pickings were slim, but they DIDNOT miss on quality. We tried to beef brisket w/caramelized onions, pulled pork, smoked wings, and potato salad and they were all EXCELLENT. They missed the mark on the collards though, but I’m a southern girl and I know how to get down on my greens so you really have to bring it. When I got home I realized that I had 2 side items missing, so I called to let them know. Do you know what ELGIN did for us? He brought the food to our house! I was going to just come back another day because I knew they were closing, but he insisted bringing it to our house which stunned me but it goes down in the books as absolutely stellar customer service. What a sweet guy! Definitely got some brownie points here. See you soon 3 Brothers and Elgin. The next time I’ll get there early so we can try some of your rib bones. Go support this establishment!

Have been wanting to try this place since its a5 min walk from me.2 of us went for lunch and had pulled pork, brisket sampler with mac&cheese and Brunswick stew. The stew was awesome, pulled pork has a kick with the smoky smell and the added dry dressing . Brisket was ok. I never like Macncheese anyways Super friendly staff gave us a sample of sweet potato Belgian waffles. great flavor. and we ordered more I guess waffles are a Saturday thing. Check this place out

Great little BBQ spot. You must try the sweet potato Belgian waffle!!! My pulled pork was a bit dry but the brisket made up for it. Their Chipotle Finishing sauce is all you need!

First, let me say that the service here was unbelievably friendly. So major kudos for that. We got our order as takeout, and I was pretty thrilled to see tiny bottles of sauce included in the to-go container. How cute is that? Everything looked super delicious, and the portion sizes were decent, but overall the husband and I agreed that things were either bland or over-seasoned. The meat was covered in seasoning that gave it a little kick, and the sauce had a nice touch of vinegar, but the seasoning on the meat overpowered everything. As for the sides, the mashed sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese didn’t blow us away as they have others. They weren’t bad, but my expectations were higher. Our toddler loved both, however, so this was a great dinner as far as he was concerned! The meal also came with a hefty portion of cornbread muffin, which was actually a highlight for both my toddler and myself. For dessert, I regretted opting for the sweet potato tart and not the amazing looking chocolate chip cookie my husband tried. My heart had been set on trying the banana pudding but they didn’t have any the night we visited. The sweet potato tart, like the mashed sweet potatoes, seemed lacking in flavor. Not a bad place for BBQ, and like I said, super friendly staff, but it sadly won’t be our go-to place when the BBQ craving strikes.

A BBQ gem tucked away on the busy traffic corner of Jones Bridge Rd at Kimball/Abbots Bridge Rd in Johns Creek! I stopped by for lunch based on all the fine Unilocal!reviews and was not disappointed. I had a pulled pork sandwich with a side of Brunswick Stew. The pork was delicious, 5-star worthy. Incredibly tender & juicy with a dry rub that added to the outstanding flavor. The Brunswick Stew was good — a tomato based stew complete with chunks of pork, corn, lima beans, and more. The staff was very friendly and offered up a tasting of their brisket(they are originally from Texas so they know how to do brisket right!) If you like BBQ and are in the John’s Creek area I would definitely recommend a trip to 3 Brothers.

In a brilliant twist of fate, we happened upon 3 Brothers last night and are back again for lunch today. Rarely do I stumble upon somewhere that is so deserving of a positive review. This place may not look like much from the outside, but step inside and there’s a whole lot of wonderful… we were greeted by a friendly staff, fast service and most importantly, delicious food. The owner/chef, Walter, introduced himself and gave his personal recommendations on what to order. Day 1: Pulled pork and brisket were tender, tasty and seasoned with dry rub, I did nut even need to add the home made sauce(although it is delicious). Mac & Cheese is made with REAL cheese not your typical runny orange sauce. Day 2: Walter prepared crawfish étouffée(made to order) and beignets that melted in my mouth! The house brewed sweet tea and cucumber water were pretty great too!

Let me start by saying, I don’t know if all the stars aligned, the gods were happy or I wandered into the edge of a rainbow but this was some of the best BBQ I have had YET! As a disclaimer, I don’t eat pork(I know, I know, some people don’t consider it real BBQ if it ain’t pork… WHATEVER!) Anyway, at the suggestion of the grill master, I had the beef brisket, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. And just because I skipped breakfast(or just felt gluttonous, I’ll never tell…), I ordered extra meat. First, the brisket was cooked to perfection and almost melted in my mouth. Very nice flavor. Then came the mac and cheese. Wonderfully cheesy without being overdone. It took me back to a time when life is much simpler and government cheese flowed freely! While I was marveling in my culinary bliss, I sunk my fork into the collard greens and brought them to my mouth… LAWDHAMERCY!!! The greens were so tender and will seasoned my eyes almost rolled back and in my head! Talk about slap yo mama good!!! What were they trying to do to me???(I asked the grill master that when he came to check on me). After he stopped laughing at me, he told me they use chicken stock to season the greens, instead of pork. Hallelujah! Remember, I don’t eat pork. It turns out, they make everything fresh there. He said nothing was canned, including the sweet potatoes that were used in the pies they sell.(Yes, I’ll have one of those as well, Thank you!) The pie was good but its not what will cause me to drive almost 40 miles to repeat. Those greens… those greens… My! Look at the time! Lunch time AGAIN! I think I have somewhere I need to go… See ya there!
