They are difficult to manage. The online interface is a joke.
I recommend going inside to pickup your order since they are in no hurry to fill prescriptions in the drive thru, and let cars pile up (I typically turn my engine off). If I am in the window when this is happening I definitely feel like a jerk.
Since I have had Walgreens for years I am not sure if this is the norm for prescriptions or not. I am considering anther business.

They are usually pretty fast and the drive through is pretty convenient. The pharmacists are also pretty friendly. Overall I have always had a good experience.

They allow people to sit in their drive thru while they wait 20 mins for their Rx to be filled while 4 other cars pile up behind them. Meanwhile I’m trying to avoid going inside because I just had surgery on my foot and can hardly walk. Why should I have to wait 20 mins for someone to get their Rx filled? Ask them to drive around if they want to wait. This is the most inefficient place ever. Also the pregnant pharmacy tech always make me feel like I’m inconveniencing her if I ask any questions about my Rx. I’m going to have to find another pharmacy who values my business.

I stop in here on occasion as it’s the closest Walgreens to my house, and have always been satisfied, but nothing special. Then today happened. I was deathly ill today, went to the doctor, and had my meds called into my normal pharmacy of choice, Costco. I dragged my sick self into Costco, only to find their pharmacy is closed on Sundays. Are you kidding me?! I had my doctor re-​route my meds to Walgreens out of desperation.
When I arrived about 5 minutes later, they had just received the info from my doctor and rushed to get them filled. The staff were so sympathetic, they knew I felt awful, and knew I’d been running all over town trying to get my meds. The pharmacy manager was incredibly kind, just what I needed on this awful day. I had never taken these particular meds, and she made sure I understood what was happening and why — even giving me. I’ll definitely be making Walgreens my go-​to pharmacy from now on.
