Cash & Go

They shorted us $ 25 plus dollars on my boyfriends check and when we came back in a couple minutes later to tell them about it… Let’s just say I walked back out before things escalated!
They were unprofessional and we will never be going here again!
Oh… I will be contacting the GM of this company as well. How do you tell a customer that there is nothing you can do about a problem that you causes?

The initial experience taking out a loan with this company was very simple and pleasant. They ask for proof of pay stubs, two references who would be able to answer their call, a valid number where you are to be reached at, your social, a valid blank check, and a driver’s license. If all of the aforementioned checks out, you’ll be instantly approved for a loan of a designated amount, and you’ll be given the cash on the spot. However, when I went to prepay the initial loan of $$$ not including the finance charge, I was told by the first female employee that they do not accept partial payments. This would have been fine and dandy had the contract they gave me not stated word for word «You may prepay any amount amount of this loan at anytime without penalty». I had to go back home to retrieve the original contract and point this out to the second employee, only for her to attempt the run around on me by pointing to something that had nothing to do with my argument. I then explained that it makes no sense for the contract to say I can prepay any amount on the loan, especially when I was paying the initial loan itself, only to have these two tell me they don’t accept partial prepayments. If your business doesn’t accept partial prepayments, your contract should not state that any amount of the loan can be prepaid at anytime. The first employee also had the nerve to give me attitude about it, as if I’d made up the contract myself. All in all I would have given this place 5 stars, but due to their inconsistent policies and the employee’s attitude I’m only giving them 2.

Although this is a convenient place to cash a check or get a $ 300.00 loan for a month, I’ve had a terrible experience with a bank debit card they work with and push at this store front check cashing service.
Insight Debit/​Visa cards applications are distributed at their counters and highly touted… perhaps they are part of the parent company to Cash and Go, in any case, I discovered the clerks there have computer access to my banking records available to them at the touch of a finger. I’m a tad bit uncomfortable with this. Cash and Go isn’t my bank-it’s a store front check cashing service and them having access to my financial records seems a bit shifty, to say the least.
I have been in a bit of a financial bind lately and taken out a couple of their $ 300.00 high interest rate loans which must be repaid within a month –the redemption of your check costs about $ 339.00, for processing fees and interest.
One of the appealing things about their Insight Debit/​Visa card is that they are able to put my Social Security check into the account about a week earlier than my present credit union can. I thought this would be helpful to me, so I agreed to have my SS check automatically sent and was under the impression that this automatic deposit would deflect most of the fees the ‘bank’ charges.

I didn’t read all the fine print and discovered that EVERY use of the card costs $ 1.00. Every phone call to the parent company, even if mandatory to straighten out an error, costs $ 1.00.
I din’t get my debit card until after 3 emails and countless phone calls (at a buck each). I have almost $ 50.00 in FEES after 6 weeks with this rip off company.
The only place I could withdraw cash, as I didn’t yet have the debit card promised to me a month previously was to go to Cash and Go to withdraw. where I was charged 1.7% of the withdrawal amount. My $ 700.00 withdrawal cost me over $ 10.00 to access my money.
There are many little things that Insight banking doesn’t tell you-​such as no transfers between financial companies-​which means I can’t transfer money to my grand sons college bank account. I have to send a check, which costs me $ 5.00 for them to process, and for which I must notify them ahead of time. you can’t simply write a check. they have to know about it before you write it.
Cash and Go are great people, but PLEASE Don’t get mixed up in the Insight Debit card scam they advertise. I’m quite disappointed in Cash and Go for willingly advertise a company such as Insight Visa/​Debit to people who are in poor financial positions such as myself. We simply can’t afford all the fees this company charges. Most of us wouldn’t patronize Cash and Go were we able to make ends meet and $ 50.00 in fees is a big hunk out of a senior on Social Securities income. It’s a shopping trip for a weeks food, for example, or a tank of gas for the car.
I got this debit card to use specifically on a vacation abroad, as I didn’t want to use my primary visa or debit card due to a previous experience with identity theft. Were it not so close to my trip abroad I’d go to another bank or community credit union and open a new account to close this one. Their fees are a total rip-​off and there is no way of getting around them.
Boo to Cash and Go for supporting this company and Double Boo to Insight Visa/​Debit for usury.

As good as it gets for a quick pay day loan joint. Nobody wants to find themselves in a position where you need a few bucks before pay day, but when you need to these guys have been great.
The information they need:
— Most recent pay stub
— A check with your address on it
— If its your first time they need a few other things as well
You may want to double check with them. They loan up to $ 300 at a time and its due one month after the initial loan. If you borrow $ 300 then you must repay $ 339, which is actually pretty reasonable.
The people who work here are great. They’ve been very professional and polite even in situations that weren’t ideal. If you find yourself strapped and needing I’d check these guys out first.
