BarkZone – Aloha

My first impression of Barkzone was that it would be a place where dogs can run around, play with one another and have a fun time in a comfortable and clean setting. Once I entered through the doors, I was proven wrong. I was dropping my dog off for his 4 hour temperament test and the gal did not seem prepared for our arrival. She did not have any applications ready due to their printer not having any ink. Therefore she hand wrote an application in front of me that contained multiple spelling errors. Once I was finished with filling out the paperwork I asked to see the facility and was totally disgusted. The dogs were contained to about ¹⁄₃ of the total inside and the nighttime kennels were stacked on top of one another. I would never agree to letting my pup stay there. This experience opened up my eyes and I am glad I can write this review so you don’t have to go through the same experience. Thank you!

Although this location is smaller, I prefer this one because the staff are friendly and more attentive to the dogs. I watch the cameras all day and I see the staff actually sitting in the dog play area and interacting with the dogs.

I came and checked out their facility when I was looking for a Doggie Daycare for my little girl. It was dark, dank and not a place I was willing to leave her. I checked out all the Doggie Daycare facilities in a 10 mile radius of my home and this is one place I would never take her.
It smelled of urine and did not appear clean to me.
I did find an amazing Doggie Daycare right up the road, Dogs Day Out, they are clean, new and love the dogs and it is very obvious they intend to be the best in town, and they are!
I also disliked the paper mache dog they have alongside TV highway advertising their services, tacky tacky tacky.

Not bad, but not great. The prices are a little more than others. They dont board so it limits some of the services. My dog smells like Ozone after he returns. They have a sophisticated ozone generator that kills bugs. Dont know if it works, but the smell can be a little overwhelming when he returns home. No web cams like other kennels.
All in all its OK. If its close then use it. If its out of your way then save a few bucks and go to some of the others.
