KJ’s Cafe

This is a very typical small town diner. In fact, every time I come through here it’s packed. Probably with locals. However, so is the subway right across the street. There just aren’t many choices in Alma.
I did a call ahead and order for a burger and fries as I didn’t have time to go in and eat so I can’t really rate my review on the inter-​workings of the restaurant.
All I can rate is the taste. Very simply put — «not too good» The meat was very bland with no seasoning what so ever and more than likely previously frozen.
Frozen is ok as there’s probably not too many places that use fresh ground meat, but for gods sake’s put some seasoning on it! Even a little salt-​and-​pepper would go a long way.
I’m sure it’s a friendly, Hometown diner, but for me, never again. I know mine is the first review for this place and I’m sorry it’s a negative one. It is what it is.
