Ora Catering

We used Ora (with BGE entertainment) to cater our wedding, as well as choosing Ora to cater the bris (a year and change later).
Edna was very easy to work with, as well as being the most flexible kosher caterer in the area. When we went to another kosher caterer in the area prior to our wedding, we we handed a book and told to find something and to get back to them. I have gluten/​dairy issues and needed nut-​free for my guests, and that other caterer said «people like you are why I’m bald.» Edna immediately told me of a few ideas she had that would work out, and seemed not the least bit phased. Food-​wise, the food was fantastic. We had brisket, but many of my non-​Jewish friends stated that it was among the best meals they had ever had. The compliment was «Tastes so amazing I didn’t believe it was kosher!» and «Who knew kosher food could be so fantastic!» The meal was absolutely fantastic. Edna also made a two-​layer cake, where the top one was gluten-​free for me. For a gluten-​free parve cake, it was delicious. Even for not being gluten-​free and parve, it was delicious!
All in all, a resounding two thumbs up. Ora Catering was very flexible, easy to work with, made delicious food, and happy to work with food allergy restrictions.

We hired Ora catering for our son’s Shabbos Bris (kiddush and lunch following). Edna did an amazing job– the food was great and the whole event was very well organized. As well, it is an understatement to say Edna is a pleasure to work with– a dream is more like it. I have not worked with a sweeter, more easygoing, yet reliable and thorough person. Even when we changed the bris plans on her a day and half before the event, she pleasantly restructured everything without hesitation. I could not recommend Edna and her catering business enough!
