What a shame they closed. Roosevelt’s was a great spot. Not sure what exactly happened but things seemed to have change when Mike G the previous manager left.

Closed?!! I’ve never been to this location only the Bethlehem one, which I love. Came by today and their marque board said for sale! Anyways stars are for Bethlehem location.

Average at best. Stay away from the food and drink the beer. We had the flounder special… if you like over fried fish you’ll love it, otherwise stick with the appetizers and salads only!

I was in the area for business and looking for somewhere to eat. After reading some reviews we were hesitant to go but figured we would try it anyway. Im very glad we did. The portions were huge and the prices were very reasonable. I got a salad and a vegetable sandwich and both were delicious. My friend got the flatbread and tots. Amazing.

Just ok to me. My husband liked the beer selection but the food left a lot to be desired. Nice staff though.

I’ve visited this place 3 times in the last 5 weeks or so and this review will reflect my overall impression. Visits were a W, Th, and a F all at Happy Hour and all times I sat at the bar. Two trips were solo and one a friend joined me. Great selection of beers and I’ve typically gone with the Shock Top special at $ 3. Quite a few TVs and they are willing to change the channel if there’s a particular sports channel you’d like to watch. It seems like most, perhaps all, of the staff handle both bartending duties as well as some tables. Except for the Friday visit the majority of business has been at the bar however. They have a combination of more traditional sit down tables, including booths I believe, as well as high top tables in the rather large bar area. I know a couple of the staff as they were my servers and/or bartenders at other places in town in the past. It’s always a pleasure catching up with them. On the first visit it was Wing Wednesday, all you can eat for I believe $ 9.99. You can do both traditional and boneless. I started with the boneless then switched to traditional and tried a couple of flavors. They were all disappointing. They seemed dried out. It was the day after St. Patrick’s day, where I understand they were quite busy, so perhaps the kitchen staff was experiencing a hangover(or they were leftover from the previous day). So I’m willing to give them a pass and try another day. The other visits no issues with the food, quite tasty and good value for the money. I did their Cajun Blue burger and it was great, as have the burgers I’ve had there going back a year or two ago. I had a pasta special last night, a variation on linguini with clam sauce except with a different type of pasta. Again very good. So overall I give this place a solid rating and will continue to come back.

When my fiancé fist moved to Allentown we had a great meal here. No complaints. The past couple times we went there the food has been awful. On 8÷27÷14 at 4pm I ordered a turkey Reuben that was stone cold in the middle. It wasnt even really a reuben, it had cold coleslaw, and thousand island dressing on it. Fries were soggy, underseasoned, and sub-par. My fiancé ordered a burger that was dry, and fries that were also soggy and sub-par. Not to mention the bartenders constant bitching about their job right in ear shot of everyone. Saw three of the bartenders drinking on the job. Wont be returning, unfortunately.

I give up. The food was great before but the last few times horrible. Made friends come for fish tacos then there quality went to zero. Had chicken fingers today that were dry and not fingers just strips of breast that were breaded. Get your act together. I used to live to hang there. But now feels that that the food is sub par and the facilities are becoming getto. Won’t be back till things change.

Service is off and on depending if you get an attentive server. Hopefully next time I don’t get one of the girls who are trying to flirt with guys at the bar and pay more attention to my table and refill drinks in a timely manner. Nothing worse then being thirsty whole you eat. However the burgers are exceptionally good as well as the loaded fries. Wing night is good with different flavors but I feel they could of added a few more to spice things up. Overall this is a ok establishment for a quick bite. Oh and the drink menu could be a little better in the mixed drink category.

Good wings and service… Except the«manager» is a total douche micro managing too much stuff and removing the fun from bar setting. The wings are good and arrive in a very timely manner. The beer selection is varied and abundant. But the pushy manager kinda removes the relaxing atmosphere a bar is supposed to bring.

I’m big on re-reviews when places fix their gaps and really work on improvements where they might have been lacking… so to keep this short and sweet whoever has been running the place lately knows what they are doing and cares about what they are doing. Food is better, service is MUCH better, beer selection is MUCH better and they have NTN back. Boom, winner! Great job. Keep in mind this review is for any weekday and Friday/Saturday before 10PM, I get the feeling the place is still very«clubby» on weekend nights but outside of those hours it’s a great stop by…

We were looking for a place to hang out before the snowstorm hit. My friend suggested Roosevelt’s 21st. We looked it up on Unilocal, and the reviews weren’t that great. So we checked out their Facebook page and found out that they had Lazy Monday which includes: $ 5 Any Single ½lb Burger(5 – 1) $ 4 Craft Bottles $ 2 Domestic Bottles(9 – 11) TRIVIAAT7PM $ 75INPRIZESTOGIVEAWAY! That sounds pretty tempting for a boring Monday night, so we gave Roosevelt 21st a try, and this place turned out be a great place to hang out. $ 5 half-pound burgers were amazing. They have an extensive list of draft and bottled beers(See photos) for great prices!!! After we finished our dinner, we went for a couple hours of pool, $ 11/hr. We had a great time here. Staffs were attentive. We sure will come hang out here again!

Opening day of football, the place is packed, and the service has been horrible. Waited over 45 minutes for someone to take our food order; and then they came back 20 minutes later to say they were out of the burger we ordered. For opening day of football, they could have been better organized for which games would be playing on what TVs. They didn’t get the games organized until about 20 minutes into the start; and they still only had a few games playing/ On a good note, the food was good when we got it.

Overall a great place to hang out. There are great food and drink specials daily with a nice selection of beer on tap. During normal hours its more of a locals bar, and after-hours turns into more of a club with the house DJ mixing up the tunes. Food is solid. I enjoy taco Tuesday($ 0.99 each) and the cheesesteaks.

The food & drinks here are decent. Watch out for crowded nights however, our first time here we were sat & waited for 25 minutes before even asked what we wanted to drink. The inhouse dj has a good mix, but is partial to reggae music. Awesome drink specials, the staff is friendly, & the patrons are diverse. Overall, it’s a fun little hot spot.

First time I’ve been to this location since it was Rookie’s. Good drink and beer selection. Bar was hopping due to March Madness but we found a table for 8 in the bar and had a great night! Unfortunately I did not have any food, but the beer tower was awesome! Warning: Beer towers may cause you to lose track of how much you are partaking! Fun time — I’ll be back and will try the food.

This is the sister branch of the one from Bethlehem. They have the same menu and 20 taps. However, I didn’t think the beer selection was as good as their location in Bethlehem. The place is very big with allot of TVs which is great for sports. Clean location. Courteous and attentive staff. I had the cheesesteak which was good but could be improved. The improvement would be a better bun(firmer like Tony Luke’s) and also more than just American cheese. A solid place to go.
