Went in so I could print some pics and order some cards. After spending over an hour at their computer — system was at 52% of upload and then crashed. Lost everything. Their response — ya that happens sometimes, sorry. It is also almost closing time so you will have to come back another time. What?!! If you know this is «sometimes» an issue — why would you not resolve it. Or warn someone to chunk their prints down to prevent. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. Avoid if you can.

My wife went in to buy a camera I ordered after talking to two different sales people. They said it came with a 3 yr warranty. That’s why we waited 3 weeks for it instead of getting it in one day at best buy. They told her you had to pay for that warranty. VERYMISLEADINGVERYVERYSHADY!!!

I took the Beginner class this morning(in their Easton location) so I could learn how to better utilize my Canon DSLR. It was so great! TJ was an incredible instructor — he was nice, articulate, and explained things really well. I learned so much and can’t wait to take the Beyond Beginner class soon. In general, I always love Dan’s. You don’t feel like you’re being sold to — you feel like you’re hanging out w/people who just love photography and are excited about it. They are so knowledgeable and friendly. Such a nice change from places in NYC

Agree with the other reviewers that Dan’s is a rare find for the Lehigh Valley. I was impressed with the staff. After calling all over to find a place to tackle over-sized 13“x17“college diploma reproductions, Dan’s was the ONE area business that solved my problem. They used their flatbed scanner to scan and then digitally«stitch» the files together. Then, they retouched blemishes from the originals. Next, they printed copies on an excellent low-sheen artistic paper. They did this all in-house, and the copies look better than the originals. I’m delighted with their«can-do» attitude. Also in store, they have a framing corner where I was able to easily select custom frames for the reproductions with the help of Ken. Perhaps not the lowest cost option, but I am pleased to pay more for one-stop service.

Who would have thought that the LV had such an awesome photography store?!? It seems that every week we are here, we find a new gem. I’ve been wanting a new point & shoot for an upcoming work trip, but my husband convinced me that I should wait another year. However, we were on that side of town and decided to stop in to see what they had. They have literally the best selection of prosumer/professional cameras that I’ve ever seen in a store, excluding the mega stores like B&H. They are a bit light on the point & shoots, but they had enough to choose from. I listened in over a few conversations that the staff was having with customers and was very impressed with their level of knowledge of the products as well as their ability to figure out what each person would be most happy with. After just a few minutes, someone stopped to see how we were doing while browsing the camera bags. My husband has needed a new one for ages and today seemed like as good a day as any to buy one. The sales guy was able to make some good suggestions & told us what he used and why and told us that they could check stock in the back for other colors if we found the right bag but in the wrong color. This was hands down the largest selection of bags I’ve seen in a brick & mortar store. Sure, they have 5x as many online at Adorama or B&H, but you can’t get a feel for a bag online. After about 20 minutes of trying bags, we picked out a Lowepro sling bag & the hubs found a new lens cap to replace the one he lost in a snow drift this winter, and we were good to go. Another salesperson rang us up and made sure to mention the free courses they have every Saturday. Yes, you may pay a bit more than you would online or at a big box store, but you don’t get service like you do here. Actually the bag was a better deal at the store than online — $ 5 more than B&H, but shipping would have put us over. I’m willing to pay a price premium to buy locally, and even more so for awesome local service. We’ll be back when I’m ready to upgrade my P&S, or whenever we are ready to purchase a new lens for the dSLR.

All I have to say is Dan’s Camera City is the absolute best! I can’t emphasize that more. The staff is awesome and they really set a very high standard in customer service. Where the crap have I been all these years and not once ever stepped foot inside this place? Even though it was very busy, Bonnie was extremely helpful and accommodating. She went over and beyond what I needed and that really is something to be noted. I was in a pickle for time and she sensed that so she put a rush on my custom order and I got everything done in about 30 minutes or so. I couldn’t have been happier. Plus, the pictures came out BEAUTIFULLY! I highly highly recommend Dan’s. Professional, good prices and unbelievable customer service.
