Steaks were over cooked, no drink refills, never received our rolls or the salads we ordered. Very disappointed in service and quality of food. To top it off, they gave us a 15% discount for the poor service but still charged us for the salads we never received! !!

I’ve been a regular customer of other Logan’s locations in the past, but this was the first time I tried this one out. I was a little let down by the food, but the service was a huge disappointment. Empty drink cups for much of the meal, part of our order never arrived(and even after a reminder, was never brought out), and very overdone steaks made this visit a very negative experience. To his credit, the waiter did apologize but dodged blame by saying«We are incredibly busy!» even though the dining room wasn’t even 2⁄3 full. Even though I’ve enjoyed other Logan’s restaurants in the past, sadly I’ll be crossing this one off my list.

I went into the restaurant and was immediately greeted, and seated. The waitress was very nice, friendly and prompt. The reason I am giving this review two stars is because of the food. When I got my chicken club house sandwich it seemed really undercooked. Would I eat here again? Probably not.

Service was horrible. Salads were delivered after the meal came. Sent my steak back twice. Wanted medium, both times came back rare — both times. How do you recook a steak TWICE and it still come back rare? Ran a napkin over the table and it came back FILTHY.

I have been to many Logan’s and am usually happy. The one here in Allen had food as expected but terrible service. I guess my server’s phone was more important than getting our order correct. My son ordered a burger that was wrong, we received our salads AFTER our steaks and those were wrong too. My son finally received his re-fired burger after everyone else had finished their meals. After the various issues, our server tells us she had had a bad day. Sorry but now we have also had a bad evening.

I was really surprised to read all the negative reviews about Logan’s. We’ve always had good food here, even if the service is a bit lacking. This visit made it a little more clear about how this restaurant has been declining. It was pretty empty for an early Sunday evening. We’ve always commented that most of the servers are very young, pretty women, who don’t always appear to have been given the necessary training. It took our server at least 7 or 8 minutes to greet us at the table. She took drink orders and it was another 7 or 8 minutes for drinks. She could not have had more than 2 other tables so I have no idea what she was doing. When she came back, she’d forgotten that I asked for cinnamon butter and had to go back for that. One thing we’ve always liked about Logan’s is they are one of the places that serves peanuts and you can throw the shells on the floor. There’s just something about that that makes me feel good inside. The last several times we’ve been here, the floor has been clean, which made us question whether they were no longer allowing peanuts to be thrown on the floor. BUT, there is a huge sign across the length of one wall that says«Watch for peanuts on the floor.» So we felt like it must still be allowed. I ordered the filet mignon with blue cheese crumbles and grilled mushroom skewer and wedge salad; bf ordered the slow cooked platter with half a chicken and brisket. Wedge salad was excellent. I ordered my steak medium well but it was medium when brought to me. Mushroom skewers were lukewarm but I was hungry so I ate them. I sent the steak back for a bit more cooking and it was pretty close to well done when it returned. Logan’s always used to cook steaks perfectly, so whoever is running the kitchen back there no longer knows what they’re doing. Drink refills were slow but did happen. As we were about to leave, I heard our server ask the table behind us not to throw peanuts on the floor! Why didn’t she say the same to us? I have no idea, maybe it was a personal request rather than restaurant policy because she’d have to clean them up. But the manager that came by our table didn’t say anything about the mess we made either. Probably will be the last time we come here for a long while. I hope they can improve!

Just Un American this place is. I go here and order a steak. I have being looking forward to this kind of steak all week and I order it and they came back and said sorry. We are out of Prime Rib. REALLY!!! Then I had to order a different steak which was not a PRIMERIB by the way it was a ribeye. I’m a prime rib person Always have been. Always will be. So I had to settle for a ribeye. I just was not the same. We could have left but we have already order the food and had all ready got drinks so no sense in leaving. You know you run out of steaks like that you need to order more so that dont happen. I will not return because of this. Now Our waiter was great.

I have been to Logan’s many times. Always have I had a good experience. Today was the first negative. This was the first time at this particular Logan’s as well as it will be the last. First we walked into a 15% at the most filled restaurant at 6:30 pm on a Sunday which at first I thought was odd but now it makes more sense. We of course were seated right away The server seemed nice and 9 out of 10 times its not the servers fault for poor food anyway. The food took way too long to receive considering it was an empty restaurant and when it did arrive it was surprisingly awful. Both the burgers ordered were way under cooked and my nachos were refrigerator cold! I couldn’t eat them and sent them back. They were supposed to be brisket nachos and they were just plain bad. The brisket if that’s what it was consisted of minced unrecognizable meat! There was also some pico on it as well and that was about it! I asked the server for a burger instead that didn’t arrive before everyone else had finished eating. In fact I took it to go instead. The manager came over and was one of those managers quick to interrupt you and buy you off in mid sentence with free food rather than working to make things right. I honestly would have rather paid double and received great food than crappie food for free!!! I give no second chances since there are plenty of other restaurants in the area to eat at! Again this is a shame because I like Logan’s…I guess I will drive to Garland Logans and get good food there instead in the future. ******* I find it funny how these restaurants like to interject to save face. They completely ruin the dinning experience for customers then ask customers to respond privately??? There is nothing you can do to repair a ruined experience so why would anyone respond??? Use my review to put the right people in place to serve future customers correctly!!! I’m not at all interested in going back to your restaurant as I mentioned. Sending a generic response to everyone who gave a bad review makes me firmly believe your management team is lost!!!**********

Food is just not the same from a few years ago. I wondered why the parking lot was empty when in the past you had to park across the street. I would say the best part about dinner were the drinks.“Texas Tea Flight”

My husband and I went there last night. He ordered New York strip MEDIUM and I had filet mignon MEDIUMWELL. Both came out rare. Service was good, music was good, food not. And the fact that we didn’t get food poisoning was just a plus. Steaks had a funky smell, so against my better judgment, grabbed a to go box for the dog and his iron stomach(thought he would like it) but coincidentally he had diarrhea this morning.

Our server was very good, unfortunately the food was absolutely horrible. My wife’s «sirloin» looked more like a hamburger patty and my shrimp looked like something you would get out of the frozen section. Texas Roadhouse has Logan’s beat by miles.

Ordered the NY strip. The steak was not prime. It was full of gristle, tough and burned. The restaurant was hardly occupied and now I can see why. Will not be going back again.

The place was really empty for 1pm on Saturday. It took 45 minutes to get burnt tasteless burgers. The Caesar salad was even bad. Will not come back.

I use to frequent this location, but I doubt I will ever go back. We walked in just before 7:00pm and were told the wait would be an hour and a half, even with half the restaurant empty. We asked to place a to go order and were told it would definitely be quicker. We FINALLY got our food after about 45 minutes. I should explain that in this time, other parties that came in after us were being seated within minutes! Before the waitress brought us our order, I overheard her tell the hostess that our order was missing something because they were out. Neither of them mentioned it to us! The waitress went through our order showing us our food and said all of the condiments were in one bag. While going through our order, she put a container ONTHEFLOOR! We got home, and the food was all mixed up. I had to sort each container to make sure everyone got what they wanted. My husband ordered an A1 chipotle sauce, didn’t get it. There were no toppings for the«loaded» sweet potato, and no sauce for the fried pickles. The entire experience was horrendous. I watched so many people walk out because of the«wait time». So much business was lost tonight.

We’ve come here a lot over the years, and it’s mostly good. Service is good, when they have those«Two dine for $ 14,» you have a killer deal. Wife and I really enjoy the food. One item we really like are the fried mushrooms appetizer, the Roadhouse Shrooms, highly recommended. My one«beef» relates to prime rib. It’s pretty good, but I’ve been several times and asked for«Raw horseradish»(And tried saying it other ways, like«straight horseradish» and«pure horseradish»), and they ALWAYS bring you their watered down sauce. For me, prime rib isn’t the same without raw horseradish. Usually, every place that serves prime rib will also have horseradish. But apparently they don’t and I’ve grown tired of trying to explain to them what I am asking for. So, if you, like me, enjoy prime rib with raw horseradish, I’d suggest you not get it here. Memo to Logan’s: PLEASE make sure you have raw horseradish to serve guests who ask for straight or raw horseradish, and explain to your servers what that means. We don’t all want that watered down sauce. I don’t blame those that do, but like other prime rib fans, I want the raw horseradish and never had a problem getting it at any other steakhouse with prime hib except here. They do have good steaks though.

I used to go here for lunch frequently, but managers have changed and some food is now precooked. Service has always been great, throwing peanut shells on the floor is fun, plenty TVs with all sports going on, the butter buns are super sweet, very cold beer, but the food now is MEH. Will I go again, maybe in a few months, but not running there for lunch anymore.

First let’s just say that our service was great, and the side caesar salad was pretty delish. But that’s about all I can compliment. I got the Grilled Chicken and Shrimp with«loaded» mashed potatoes. Loaded meaning cheese and bacon bits. Not so loaded, I’d say. The chicken was pretty much flavorless, and the grilled shrimp only tasted like propane. Definitely NOT appetizing. I also got the Sangarita — way too sweet for my taste. My fiancé got the sirloin and grilled shrimp. Again, his steak was totally tasteless and the shrimp tasted like propane. Both of us left completely disappointed and wishing we would have just gone to Olive Garden across the way. The food was DEFINITELY not worth $ 60.

This is one of those places you visit for the first and last time all at the same time. We saw they had a deal going on for a $ 9.99 burger, fries and a beer. so we stopped in. I had been craving a good restaurant cheeseburger for awhile now. I’ve never been to Logan’s before so I was excited. Our server(Monica or Monique, I forget) seemed friendly but she was so pushy… Appetizers, drinks, desserts, add ons… but she would even say«you’re missing out!» when we would politely decline. Which was weird. I thought I was getting a burger, not a new car. She kept trying to up sell things and add on things. She finally convinced me to add on the avocado to my burger, and never told me the price, like most servers should. In the end, I find out it was $ 2.00 for a little slice of avocado. Sad face. The burger I got, based on her recommendation, was the fried cheese burger. She described the fried cheese as a mozzarella cheese stick. Yum, sold! But when it came, it was so repulsing. It was literally a patty of what tastes and looks like fried Kraft singles cheese product. I had to take it out of my burger. Then I ended up with no cheese. So much for my cheeseburger craving. Totally ruined, eww. Onto my daughters meal, she had the steak tips kids meal. She’s pretty picky, but she loves steak and rice, which is what she got. To our surprise, she didn’t enjoy it. I tried it and the whole dish was insanely salty. The steak was so dry and burnt, and then had about 1000 grams of salt on it. I told her not to eat it and we’d get her something elsewhere. When our server returned, she started gathering our dishes and she saw that my daughter had a full plate of food left and just threw the dirty napkins on it and started to take it away. She didn’t even ask if anything was wrong with it since it was practically untouched, or even if she could bring us a to-go box. Yikes. Overall, it was just a horrible experience and a waste of money.
